Good food with a large choice and excellent staff made for a very enjoyable experience. Buzzy atmosphere in the restaurant. One in Esher is a strong recommendation

Food was good and the waitress did a good job. The corner was hot and stuffy and no air movement. A restaurant without an AC unit is rare and makes for hot and uncomfortable eating!!

Had to wait for the table to be made ready. I've had better full English breakfasts at motorway services. Don't think I will be returning.

Go to Coates in Esher often food always good , staff try hard to please ,the manager makes himself known to the guests and I think knows how to run the show.

We always have a great experience at Cote Esher, the staff are friendly, efficient and the food is always good , I go for lunch and dinner quite often and am never disappointed.

Took advantage of complimentary drink offer that had been emailed to me. Arrived at cote and was told we could not have two courses for £11'50 if we wanted to take advantage of the complimentary drink but instead HAD to choose from the 2 courses for £16.95 which clearly showed us that there was no such thing as a complimentary drink. We declined the drink but they were brought to our table by mistake. The manager told the waitress to take them back. The bar man re sent them five mins later and the manager again told the waitress we could not have them. We had already said we didn't want them as we were eating from £11.50 menu. Whole experience was embarrassing to say the least. Manager should not have made such a mistake and it ruined our lunch...very disappointing service and experience from cote!!! Do not offer a commentary drink only with a dearer menu!!

We had lovely food, and very attentive staff. It proved to be a most enjoyable lunch. We would definitely go back again and recommend it to others.

We hadn't been for a few weeks and were agreeably surprised by the new set menu which I thought was excellent. My husband also enjoyed his plaice too. Overall experience very pleasant with good service.

Booking was fine and good choice of table locations. Attentive helpful staff and the food was very good. They did bring one incorrect dish to the table but immediately sorted the error with only a few minutes delay whilst keeping the other dish warm. They then took off the cost of our coffees as compensation which was unnecessary but a nice gesture.

Food was generous and delicious. Starters were spot on and steaks were cooked as requested. Wine was tasty. Relaxed and genial atmosphere. Definitely go again.

Nice atmosphere but food was average. Have had better on previous occasions. Service was friendly but food was this time a little bland and not very tasty.

Excellent meeting place for lunch with my daughter. Lovely food and first class service by our waitress Lindsay. All at a an affordable price which means we can meet up regularly.

A Lovely family meal with a great atmosphere in the restaurant for a Monday evening. July Special cocktails were delicious, as were all our meals.

I love Cote at Esher but on this occasion the choices for vegetarians was limited and as the tomato breton salad had finished, I had to choose the calamares, so it was disappointing this time.

We visited after a lovely day at Wimbledon. Côte occupies a beautiful location in Esher. The service was friendly and the food excellent. highly recommend and will visit again.

Varied summer menu, plenty of choices. Cool summer drinks and the regular provision of water was welcome. Staff exceptional allowing time to enjoy your meal.

Because it was a very hot day the doors were open and the traffic noise was intrusive. We moved to a table further in but there were loud conversations and it was difficult to have a chat with friends, one of whom has a hearing aid. The service was patchy and my meal was a bit sad - the rocket was wilted. I suppose I should have complained but I was with friends and did not want to embarrass them. Also when they made coffee there was a "bang bang" as they did the beans then a loud hiss when the steam went in. Not a pleasant visit and I have cancelled my next reservation.

We were welcomed into the restaurant with the usual smile and hello. What a great team they have there. The new Prestige menu is a wonderful idea giving us access to more variety and we decided to eat from this menu. My duck pate starter was lovely as was my wife’s breaded calamari. The wife went for the seafood linguine which tasted wonderful yet maybe a tad too much sauce. My Breton chicken was great!!

The team always look after us and ensure we get our usual table and have a laugh with us catch up on what’s changed on the set menus.

They had no rose wine by the glass. The bill had to be corrected 3 times because of errors. All a bit sloppy Not the the usual high standard of service

Fabulous breakfast yesterday, sitting outside Cote in the sunshine. The entire frontage opens up which is brilliant. The food, drinks and service were perfect, as always.

A Niçoise salad does not have red or green peppers in and certainly not big chunks. Had one black olive on the salad. Really disappointing.

It was our first trip to Esher Cote but pleased to say it was the same high standard of service and incredible food that we are used to in our normal Guildford branch.

Excellent food, nice table by the windows, good service, thoroughly enjoyable. Due to the hot weather the large window was open, and the traffic noise was quite loud, but that is no fault of the restaurant. We shall come again, often, I hope, when the weather is cooler.

Table booked for three people for lunch. Cote Esher never disappoints. Food always excellent, and service good. Don't know how you do it Cote, but keep it up

Two of us had dinner on 27th June. Excellent service and most enjoyable food and reasonable quantities. One small criticism - I would have preferred hollandaise sauce to vinaigrette with the asparagus. Also were pleased with the Pinot Noir.

Food and service fine except that steak frites meat a little over cooked. Not mentioned at the time. We continue to be fans of these restaurants.

A pleasant and efficient waitress enhanced our excellent meal.Lovely veal escalope,chicken and hake enjoyed by all five diners.The Sauvignon Blanc was a great accompaniment to the veal dish.

Another lovely visit to Côte- this time for father’s day breakfast with the kids. Reliably good food and drinks. Between us we had eggs benedict, sausage baguette, pain au chocolats, coffees, hot chocolates & juices - all were quick to arrive & delicious. Friendly staff.

Our favourite restaurant-this time had our toddler grandson with us. High chair and food for him provided with no fuss. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Recommended.

Food very good. Service was also very efficient. The only down side of Côte is the noise on a busy Saturday night - not somewhere to go for a quiet chat!

The rating is purely for the service, as the food was good, and we all enjoyed what we had for brunch. However, after 20 minutes of arriving someone finally came to the table to take the food order, and was surprised we hadn't even been asked for our drinks order. We had to ask for additional things like a gluten free menu, jams for toast, and more coffee at least twice before it arrived. I also had to ask for the bill twice, and then the card machine to be brought over a further two times.... and it wasn't even that busy. Disappointing for somewhere that can be really good when they actually take an interest in the customers.
