Our server Lyndsey, as usual was welcoming, attentive and professional,
The waiter was exceptional, very understanding and helping our dear friends, one in a wheel chair and nothing was too much trouble.
Great place to meet for brunch. Excellent service and good 🥘
Very limited children menu. Service was slow. Crepes were very salty. Sea bass was over cooked and crispy.
Food was excellent however only one of us had a starter. The waitress kept hovering waiting for me to finish my food No sooner had I finished, the mains were served At that point I wasn’t too Hungry and had to wait until I could manage another course by which time the food wasn’t too hot It was like they needed the table after we left!!!
Food was very poor - over cooked and dry. Service was average, staff seemed too busy and had poor professionalism.
Consistently good food with excellent service in friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We had a really nice evening, but it was too hot, asked waitress to get the heating turned down but it didn’t happen,
Good food at reasonable prices (but wine a bit pricey) in pleasant venue, tables not too close together and quiet atmosphere. Very fast service, in fact a slight down side as food came a bit too fast for comfort, a slightly more relaxed pace would suit us better
Friendly staff but bread and olives ordered were delivered a long time apart. Starters all lovely but one of the mains was colder than the plate it came on. It was changed without a fuss and more frite were provided, although, by then, the French beans were cold. They did take £5 off the bill.
Front of house staff were welcoming and simply brilliant Food was shocking. Someone needs to teach the kitchen staff, since it is obviously not a chef, to cook a steak and serve it hot. A cold and seared steak smells and tastes bitter. Not good. I can still taste the bitter taste of badly burnt flesh now, 3 hours later. If I could give zero stars I would I wait to see this displayed publicly and have copied the above to paste on google and trip advisor. I look forward to hearing from you to understand how you have improved your cooking.
Good as usual. But I thought the October special Lobster Bisque was thin and the Special Haddock dish was somewhat dry.
Tasty food and welcoming staff. The atmosphere wasn't amazing but we had a very enjoyable evening for our anniversary.
staff were very friendly and helpful - service with a smile and sense of humour
A lovely meal but it was disappointing that several items on the a la carte menu were unavailable including two from the October specials
Really impressed. We thought we were just going for a standard brunch to celebrate Grandad's birthday but the Manager at Esher and your whole team gave us a celebratory brunch (for 6) to remember! Really special. Thank you.
The service was perfect and the food was excellent. Well done Cote Esher . Definitely I will come back. The staff was very friendly and professional !!
Fantastic!! I’ve been to Côte in Esher more than once with my two sons and daughter in law. Every time I’ve been there I’ve enjoyed myself to the max, the food is excellent and the service is second to none. We have been always greeted with a warm smile by the manager who’s very attentive. Côte in Kingston is also nice but excellent service makes the difference in Esher. Highly recommended!
Phoebe our waitress was exceptional very happy and accommodating how lovely to have her serving us
The service was very slow and very sloppy. Whilst I am a huge fan of Cote, I will not be visiting Cote, Esher again which is a shame as this is my local branch but sadly does not compare in service to others.
Food was good but it took 30 minutes or so to arrive. Guests at the next table ordered a different meal but also had to wait 30 minutes. The restaurant did not appear particularly busy, so we were surprised, although we had been warned that the Fish Parmentier would take about 15 minutes. The French Merlot wine was good.
Great venue, fantastic attentive staff. We booked for a table of 9 people and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Only lost one star due to the pork belly having soggy crackling, otherwise the rest of the food was superb!
As always, the food is of a consistent good quality and value and staff are extremely pleasant.
Always a pleasure- just bit noisy - kids tank nearby!
Food was amazing. Really enjoyed eating here. Waitress was lovely. Very busy evening so service slow but we weren’t in a rush so no problem. Enjoyed very much
Excellent service. Birthday drinks were a lovely touch, thank you.
Love the menu. Delicious food as always! Attentive but not intrusive waiting staff. Would definitely recommend!
We are regulars at Cotes, Esher consistently delivers fabulous service, warm welcome and delicious food. We have visited other branches but Esher is by far our favourite as the staff are lovely and the food is always to a high standard.
Good friendly staff but the food was sadly only average
Very good service just a shame for birthday dinner both my wife and my chicken was not cooked so we had to send back and messed up timings as my son ate his before we got ours back
Booked a table for 6 online but had problems trying to get the exact table I wanted when talking to call centre on phone as thought I was speaking direct with restaurant. Was given incorrect info about the site and, in the end, had to insist on speaking to manager which I did and he booked me the exact table I wanted. However, considering how annoyed he knew I was on the phone, I was disappointed that when I arrived he made no attempt to greet me or come to the table at any point in the evening to see if everything was ok. However, the food was good although my friends food was cold and had to be sent back, and the service was good.
We had eaten here before and returned as we had had a very good experience. Pleased to say, nothing has changed, very pleasant staff, good service and lovely food.
Fabulous service and great staff. Slight disappointment with Breton chicken as not sure provencale sauce worked but more to do with my choice. Always loved menu normally.
Excellent service lovely ambiance readnable rice and usually excellent food with this one rare exception ...
Great food and service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend
Always like Cote. No problems. Perfect welcome. Always great visit.
If it hadn't been for a table of about 8 very noisy gentlemen behind us who, when they laughed or just conversed, made it impossible for us to hear each other on our table of 3 ladies, it would have been great. Sadly when several of their party left, the noise levels did not diminish. We didn't expect anyone to ask them to be quieter as they were obviously enjoying themselves, and they were polite in every other way. Otherwise the restaurant is our favourite Cote with lovely staff and in a good location.
Just a little disappointing this time. Service not as attentive as usual. Small things such as not repalcing a napkin that had been used to mop up a spill until the third time of asking.
We ate our favourite dish Tuna Nicoise Delicious as usual
Wonderful night! Staff couldn’t have been more professional and lovely. Food was delicious as ever. Made my birthday very special. Thank you so much :)
Very friendly restaurant and tasty English breakfast cooked to order
Good Value for money and good service.Enjoyed it as usual.
Superb value breakfast with friendly service and coffee and orange included in Formule deal
Cote in Esher can get busy but staff cope well and breakfast is really good value
Swift and courteous service; lovely free drink as it was a birthday dinner
I am a regular visitor to Cote Wimbledon but this Cote in Esher was not of the same standard for food. My crepes from the a la carte menu was undercooked. Needs improvement.
Disappointing experience - never had it happen before. Ordered steak and frites - steak was poor quality - very chewy- had to send it back. There was no problem exchanging it - and the replacement appeared very quickly. Did spoil the meal though. Went early evening - so not too many diners - but noise level was very high and we could not hear each other speak - we had to change tables. Had creme caramel - always excellent.
My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant last night. It is one of our favourite local restaurants. The food, and service, are always consistently good. We were looked after superbly by Lynsey. She has been there for years and always recognises us and greets us with a friendly face, even if we have not been for a while! She is a great asset to the team!
The Manager Chris was great. He was most attentive. We always have a good meal at this restaurant and last night was no exception!
The food is always excellent and the staff so kind and attentive. Every time, whether it is for lunch or dinner, it always suits all of us. We go to your branches at Richmond, Teddington, Turnham Green and Ealing and the high standard is always the same.
