We like going to Cote. Our favourite dish is the Tuna nicoise alas unavailable today. We did enjoy our fish stew & mushroom risotto. Plus our delicious complimentary cocktails.

Another trip here, I like the atmosphere here even if from Cobham we have a Cote too! Business meeting/dinner, given a larger window table, slightly slow to place our order but after that seamless service. Table location by the bar/window was good as quieter and away from larger groups since we had to do work!

We selected 2 courses from prestige set menu at £15.95 each. Food very good indeed at this level. Service prompt and friendly. A couple of glasses of wine and coffees jacked up the cost but overall good value. We both said we would return.

On Friday, before the theatre, we went for an early dinner at Cote in Kingston. Saturday whilst shopping we again went for lunch. It was very busy but Cameron managed to find us a table. Saturday night it was Birthday celebrations for me and of course there was only once place to go .... Cote in Esher. Although it’s not promised, I had made a request for a large table, and as usual Chris and his team came up trumps yet again. Thanks everyone we had a great evening. Jean Green

As regular visitors to cote we were very disappointed with todays visit. We booked to come for lunch and had bread and olives to start with which were good. We then ordered the steak and chicken breast from the plates rapide for my 2 children the steak was good but the chicken was a bit dry. Myself and my wife ordered the pork belly both of which were a little over cooked and dry but otherwise ok. The real problem was when it came to the deserts we ordered the pomme tarte which arrived with cinnamon ice cream instead of vanilla and tasted odd with it, my daughters both had chocolate fondant which came with chocolate ice cream and some strange odd tasting chocolate cherry sauce which tasted like tomatoes. None of these were what we expected and we were informed when we asked that they had ran out of vanilla ice cream but never asked before if that mattered to us. We didnt eat any of the desserts and they were removed of the bill. Was just a shame as cote is always reliable for a nice meal but unfortunately our experience today tainted this for us.

We had a really nice lunch earlier today at Cote Esher, served by our usual waitress Lyndsay who is always very helpful and attentive to our needs. Within minutes of being seated, Lyndsay was at the table serving up our complimentary Sidecar cocktails which were very nice indeed. Our French onion soup starters were excellent and up to Cotes usual standard for this classic French style soup. For the main courses, I plumped for the Fish Parmentier which was served up piping hot and consisted of haddock, salmon and prawns layered with tasty mashed potato and melted cheese. My wife had the Salad Nicoise which she described as very good, this salad had a large slice of fresh tuna rather than the tinned tuna often found in these salads. We rounded off the meal with a couple of flat white coffees. Altogether, this was a very pleasant, satisfying and enjoyable lunch experience at Cote with excellent food and great service. Ronnie

Not our usual 10/10 experience. Waiting to order, we were asked to wait for the manager, as one of us is a coeliac. We waited quite a while. Then a family sat in the next table, and the father had a loud penetrating voice, which was distracting - not the fault of the restaurant, obviously. I ordered the half chicken from the weekend menu, with gratin potatoes and French beans, I received the other chicken, with French fries, not very crispy, and a tiny bit of green leaves. After mentioning it, I was brought a plate of French beans, but I still missed the potato. The gluten-free risotto was fine. Lastly, we always enjoy the frozen berries dessert with warm white chocolate sauce. The suae, however, was cold. I did not want to complain again, so we ate it and it was OK, but not quite as good as usual. Otherwise the evening was good, as it usually is, but onlyb 7/10 this time.

Great evening and a brilliant waitress who really helped make it an enjoyable meal. Sadly my chicken was a little undercooked but everything else was spot on and the unasked for discount because of the chicken was a nice uncalled for gesture. Will definitely recommend and go again

We had a very bad meal in September and were not charged for it. However, we decided to come again. The Manageress of Esher made us feel very welcome and even gave us a welcome drink. The meal we had last night was superb and we had a really lovely evening, eating excellent food. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional, especially the manageress. We would like to compliment her on how she handled things. Very well done and we will continue to come to Cote and recommend Cote to our friends. Thank you.

This was a birthday meal for my 82 year old mother and her grandchildren. Your restaurant manageress and waiting staff made the meal the most enjoyable experience and everyone had the best night out in ages. My mother in law (a regular at Cote Esher) particularly enjoyed the night which was the objective of the meal as birthday girl. Your waiting staff are an asset to the restaurant. KEEP THEM!!

We had booked our table requesting one near the entrance away from the noisy areas as two of the party had hearing issues. A table had been reserved near the window where we enjoyed minimal noise from neighbouring tables.

Our server was called Lindsey, and was attentive, and professional, with a lovely personality. To anyone who hasn't tried Cote in Esher as yet, I would certainly recommend you make a visit.
