I am finding more and more when I visit the Cote venues that there is a consistency with quality of service and food and ambiance. Very kind and well trained staff and front of house management. Food reminds me of the way Michelin started restaurants were in France 25 years ago but without the fussy attitude. Well done and keep this standards up!
Excellent service, delicious food and wine. We asked for a quiet table and it was. Such a change from the ghastly noise levels e perienxed in all popular restaurants. I love Cote it never disappoints.
Good food and the waiter was very pleasant and chatty making it feel very comfortable evening for us all. Thanks again Cotes Esher for a lovely birthday meal.
The staff are great, very attentive. I think the food is okay. It does lack a little depth. For example, I had the fish stew and was pleasant but not something you couldn't make at home - my scale of what you would expect. Lamb was okay but not seared. All the things that take time to do and give the extra flavour. It is a great family restaurant and caters for everyone really.
We had a very enjoyable meal at Cote. We really appreciated the complimentary Bellini’s in celebration of our anniversary. The food was really lovely - we especially enjoyed our main courses - and well priced. The service was fantastic and we did not feel rushed at all. The staff were very conscientious and polite. Overall we had a really great time! Thank you.
As always, another lovely evening at Côte Brasserie Esher. The food is always reliable & it’s a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or supper. Thanks to Chris and the team for looking after us so well again!
Great waiter named Aidan Very attentive. Best waiter so far over the years!! Pls cook green beans al dente. Only criticism an extra bottle of wine added to the bill but this was quickly rectified
Everything it was amazing, Cristobal he was wonderful. We recommend this place We enjoyed it a lot there. The prawns they were really good .
Very good food and service ... Will definitely come back again :).. Will definitely recommend to family, friends and colleagues. Keep up the hard work :).
A very meal discreetly served and cooked beautifully. My friends enjoyed their steak and lamb. Lovely vegetables.
Great food and great service. Delicious food cooked beautifully.
Good quality but small portions. Attentive service and a good menu but left still feeling hungry. Atmosphere was good and it was quiet and a good choice of tables available when I dined with my partner. Shame to go somewhere to eat and leave feeling unsatisfied
The tastiest scallops, delicious duck and a fantastic raspberry creme brulee together with a beautiful and yummy complimentary rhubarb martini all served by friendly and professional staff - what better way to celebrate our anniversary.
Normally a good venue for meeting friends - but this time a wrongly placed order meant that two of the group were served, while the third was served a hot side order but not his main dish. That did not arrive for almost 20 minutes As for the food, a steak was over cooked, as was a sea bream. The third was proclaimed “OK, I suppose”. Although the waitress was very apologetic, this visit was nowhere as good as usual. A great disappointment. *to cover the misorder/delay, no charge was made for a glass of wine and three coffees.
This is not the first time we have been here, but it was not the best meal or service. We both had the duck from the mother's Day menu. One looked fresh and juicy and the other was over cooked and dry. The waiter did not seem very interested in his job and was coughing and sneezing throughout the service. Not ideal with food around. We will not be put off by this one bad experience, but if it happens again?
As regular visitors to Cote - Enjoyed our evening, good environment, good service, food could have been slightly better - one of the Fillet Steaks was under cooked, others were very dry. Also food could have been served a little warmer. Great wine
Fantastic meal - excellent food and service especially Daniella who was very helpful. Menu qas very good but would like to see aome new options on desserts!
Firstly I have loved Cote asI have always considered it good value for money and great food. Wasn’t the best experience last night. It was my birthday and am on crutches so messaged the restaurant a week prior requesting a table in the window and also rang the day before to confirm. We got there and this didn’t happen. We had our menus and eventually had to ask for my two birthday offer Kir Royals..These Normally these arrive as your booking site alerts the bar I believe. We complained to the manager about the table and he apologised and offered us a free bottle of wine, which was Vernice of him.I ordered Breton Fishstew which arrived with hardly any sauce so I sent it back. My husband ordered a spinach side and it arrived in a tiny dish and contained two spoonfuls. This cost £3.95 and frankly was an insult. I know times are hard but I could have bought two bags of spinach for this amount of money. Crazy to reduce the size of your side dishes. Further to this when are you going to change your menu. I hadn’t been for a while due to health issues and apart from a special it was the same as last year. Come on Cote you can do better. If Cafe Rouge can change their menu so can you. Heather Howell
Such great food and truly amazing service. This is a perfect place for a lovely, lazy birthday lunch. We will be coming back again. Also, gluten and dairy free diners taken care of extremely well.
Two of our main courses (steaks) were luke warm along with the french fries. The other two sword fish dishes had a strange smell and taste. My wife left most of her fish course.
Consistently nice. Girls night out and we all enjoyed our meal and thought the service was good.
Lovely relaxed dining. Yasmin our waitress made us feel very welcome and did a fab job. Thank you for another lovely evening.
Excellent food, beautifully prepared and served. The set menu offers very good value and is changed frequently so always a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
Normally a good experience. But this time (later than usual) the food was not-too-we’ll cooked. My own haddock wrapped in bacon was over-cooked, while a starter of asparagus was under-cooked. Service was it’s usual good standard, so o think it was a one-off.
Excellent meal this evening. Good food and attentive staff. It restored our faith in Cote Esher after a very poor meal in January. Thank you
Consistent and reliable venue. Good food and great value. The variation between different branches of this chain never fails to amaze.
We came to Cote for a family lunch to celebrate my Daughters 18th birthday........ The service was very attentive, prompt, there were staff insight at all times. The service timings were spot on, they made a special fuss of the birthday girl... overall we all had the best time and this is partly due to the service, food and staff ! so thank you all at Cote... Cote is a very reliable restaurant. Had a lovely meal with friends, the food and service were good as always.
The food was good but the service was extremely slow. So slow that while we were waiting for our starters we asked for some bread and olives to tie us over. The waitress brought the bread but never brought the olives which did not help the coeliacs in our group.
A lovely birthday breakfast - the staff were lovely to my daughter and her friends.
A pleasant restaurant with nice staff. I found the food disappointing in comparison with visits to other branches. A shame because Cote is usually completely reliable.\
Excellent food and excellent service especially enjoyed the rhubarb martinis and the crab mayonnaise
Thank you for a wonderful evening. You made me feel very special for my birthday celebrations. Much appreciated the Complemetary bottle of fizz and we will be back very soon.
Excellent food and excellent service Noise levels were too high but nothing unusual in most restaurants. Little bit slow between courses but not in a hurry so no concern.
As ever, great quality, service and value. Thanks again for good breakfast.
Very good as usual and the food, drink and service was spot on.
We have been going to Cote Esher for years - we think of it as our 'regular' place - must go at least once a month since it opened. My wife's special delight is to finish the meal with your Creme Brulee - how sad when we went last night the restaurant had run out !!!!
The restaurant suddenly became very busy and the staff were a bit overwhelmed. However the food was good and we will certainly go back again probably next week as I think that this was a one off.
Great lunch as usual, great gluten free choices. The other clientele was quite noisy for some of our group but a good time was had by all.
Great food, great service! Beautiful set up will defo come back
Wonderful early Mother’s Day lunch with my daughter. As always food was excellent and reasonably priced. So lovely to be able to enjoy the experience outdoors in sunshine
2nd time we have been for breakfast and what a beautiful breakfast we had x
Food was lovely, tasty and quick service too but cooked to perfection. Very impressed by the waitress who was great, didn't feel pressured but she was there when required and was friendly
Overall the meal was good but restaurant busy and service a little slow. Quite surprisingly advised , after taking the order, that garlic bread was not available. Had to suffice with plain bread .
Brilliant family brunch with excellent and attentive service as usual! We always feel looked after and the waitress and waiters look after our every need. Highly recommended.
As usual, food and service good except for burnt pissaladier, which the manager took care of. We enjoy Cote for it's consistency and menus, always easy to find something to enjoy. The complimentary cocktail was special too.
This was a very satisfying experience with the Valantine’s Day menu that had been rolled over being a welcome surprise. The staff were charming and we went home happy.
Delicious rhubarb martini to start. As always great food and wonderful staff. We have never had a bad experience here.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you to our MD who was most helpful. I have an injured foot but he made sure I was comfortable.
There was a dead fly in one of our meals. The restaurant comped that meal and a £3 soft drink but this was unsatisfactory. A shame as we have often been before but this puts us off going again.
