Côte Esher

We had a good meal although my roast breast of duck was a bit chewy in places. There was a lot of noise which was a bit off putting until it became quieter.

The staff were very helpful. The food was very good , although too much salt was added for my taste. It was sprinkled on the watercress.

The Staff were welcoming and friendly - we have been going to Cote Esher nearly every week for almost three years and the food and service have been consistently good. Cameron, the Manager always has time to speak to customers and makes us feel valued. By contrast, we recently went to the new Cote in Weybridge. The service was chaotic, the food overcooked and the whole experience was not a patch on Esher.

Swordfish steak on the specials menu was outstanding. Staff attentive and friendly. It was an unseasonably warm spring evening, so they had opened all front windows...feeling alfresco and chic.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. The water jugs were not topped up and the menu could have been explained better. One of the main courses we ordered just came as a chicken breast with no side order which should have been pointed out. Lovely visit nevertheless.

As ever, Cote is consistently good. A wide choice of dishes well presented by proficient and pleasant staff. And a wine list which compliments the food.

This branch of Cote is excellent. Very good food, lovely ambience and superb service. Many compliments to Darren and his team. We will definitely be returning.

Very good steak frites and excellent tarte tatin for me. My wife's steak frites was also good but something not quite right with the coupe noir - when the hot chocolate sauce came in contact with the ice cream the chocolate sauce became rock hard. This has never happened before. Other than that, we enjoyed our evening out,

Fabulous breakfast and at a good price! Server was lovely and v helpful. Great place in Esher for a really tasty and lovely meal. Worth coming here.

Great Mother's Day food was excellent staff on the ball all the time very friendly glad we went there for the special day will be back for more soon.

Excellent as ever...slightly longer wait for main courses than usual but it was a busy evening. Overall a good experience which is what I have come to expect from Cote

The standard of food was good as usual. The reason for the 4 was because of the noise level in the restaurant. We are visiting the restaurant again on Thursday with a party of 6 and hope it is much quieter.

Yet another excellent breakfast in Cote this morning. I had the vegetarian breakfast and my friend had the eggs benedict, with coffees and juices. Definitely the best in the area.

We have a brilliant meal every time we go to Cote in Esher. They certainly maintain the excellent quality. The staff are alwaysattentive. There is a great atmosphere as well. Always buzzing.

Great wine, great food, great service, lovely decor and ambiance. So definitely recommend to others and I'll be back again very soon. Thought it was a high standard and good value for money

I often visit Cote in Esher, and whatever time I book for, I have never been disappointed with the food or the service, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Good food with good service. The choice of dishes is excellent although I usually go for the same! Good wine list, although the house wine is very acceptable. Portions reasonable size, too.

We had a lovely meal, and felt welcomed, particularly as my husband has to have a GF meal. The GF menu was produced without us having to ask. The choice of menu was excellent, and we would have loved to work our way through it all! It was presented well, and was delicious. The service was very good. Thank you for an enjoyable lunch.

Cote in Esher always dishes up lovely food, whether it be from the a la carte or the early lunch/supper menu. Excellent service as always from the staff.

A warm welcome, good selection of dishes on the menu, some really nice wines, tables beautifully laid and happy smiley staff! What more could you ask for. Always very happy when Cote is the suggested place to meet friends. It's definitely a place for people who like nice things generally. Oh and the meal we had was delicious, well cooked and presented.

Cote' have a pattern of success with its available menus. You know you are going to receive consistently good food and a selection of first class wines.

We had a pleasant lunch and the waitress was attentive whilst trying to get us to order but we were ignored when we asked for the bill even though I got up and walked over in the end to a waitress (manager) laying the table next to us. She carried on ignoring me even though I'd held out dish with cash on and politely explained we needed to get back to the car park. Not what I expected from Côte nor have experienced before. I would choose another Côte rather than patronise this one, especially since my 2nd visit to a Côte this week (Tuesday eve Sloane Square and much busier)

Cote in Esher is always good . Food , service , wine and atmosphere always consistent . Enjoyable fun lunch with friends . Nice relaxed atmosphere

We loved the seasonal April specials, including the variation on the Breton chicken. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed, as we have always found.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the free bottle of wine. The restaurant in Esher can sometimes be a bit noisy but last night was ok.

Have been going to Cote Esher every few weeks for years now. Last night's experience was not as expected. 3 out of 5 people in our group did not enjoy their starter or main course. Whitebait were not crispy enough and too big - more like sprats than whitebait. Camembert cheese dish did not warrant being called a main course - more like a starter and was not very nice. Sea bream was not very tasty. The desserts were the only thing that were up to the usual standards.

Great food - I should think that we had the best whitebait in London at present - in a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were professional and thoughtful.

Excellent food and varied menus for both food and drink. I am a regular there and wouldn't be going back if it wasn't worth it :)

Lovely food reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful waitress. Relaxed evening.. would recommend the Seafood Linguine and Iced Berries with warm chocolate sauce - yum! Will go back.

We had a quiet table away from the draught of the front door and had excellent service. Food good as always with lots of choice. Will return.

Always good value with cheerful staff. Bustling atmosphere, well spaced tables so not cheek by jowl with others. This is open all day so flexible dining at any time of day, especially good breakfasts too, they cook the eggs to order, no boil in the bag scrambled eggs.

Very good service, friendly & efficient. Good food & wine. My husband particularly enjoyed the French onion soup. Good extensive menu, hard to know what to choose! Will be back again soon.

We booked for the set meal for five people last week. Both the service and the food were excellent and as we live locally it will become a regular for us.

The Special the steak was not up to the standard I expect from Cote, everything else was as good as always and the took the steak of the bill which we appreciated. We definitely will go back.

This Cote is a gem. Lovely staff and excellent food. Only critism is that I would have liked a complimentary glass of fizz for my belated birthday celebration 😀

Cote Esher almost always has friendly staff and the food is extremely good, bearing in mind the reasonable prices. Some dishes are better than others and with the special two- or three- course deal you may need a side order of veg. But all in all very good value.
