Enjoyed my steak frites very much but disappointed that french onion soup is no longer on menu. On the subject of menus I was concerned that you are using unlaminated paper menus which are not being sanitized after each customer's use.

Staff were excellent but missing favourites from the menu - no mussels no charcuterie board and no fresh bread with the cheese

The Food was spectacular, especially the lamb chops! The service was flawless and just the right amount of attentiveness shown. Was without doubt our favourite restaurant of all 7 we went to during our stay.

We all had a wonderful evening, from the warm welcome from Marlena the manager to the lovely food, everything felt very safe and was very well organised

So nice to be back in Cote Edinburgh. Surprised no sanitizer at entrance though. Croutons were not crispy however on Gazpatcho. Difficult to understand waiters, only partially due to visors. distancing of tables excellent.

Excellent thank you. Great food and lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres, drinks and main course. Indulged in desert too The warm white chocolate Sauce on the berries, was particularly yummy. One observation: I think it would be better for everyone if the mask rule was more strictly enforced. Ie please ask people to wear a mask when they enter and leave the restaurant.

The best restaurant in Edinburgh! Cote has the right formula for food, service, atmosphere and price. Perfect. No need to go anywhere else.

Food was absolutely delicious. Staff were very diligent about ensuring safety measures were in place but did not allow this to impact on the ambience of the restaurant. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Last supper before Coronavirus shut down. Lovely setting as usual. Staff were as attentive as ever and considering their uncertain future they were marvellous. Fine dining at an excellent price. Hope it's not too long before I can return.

We had a fabulous Mother’s Day lunch. Excellent service and food. Delighted to see a lot of staff given how busy the restaurant was. Noted that the duck on the a la carte menu came with veal jus, the same duck on the set menu didn’t. Please in future can you serve the duck without veal jus?. Look forward to eating at Cotes soon. Only gripe why 12.5 % added on as tip?

Good al la carte meal for 4 of us using this months free blood orange martini cocktail offer. Busiest I have ever seen the restaurant so more noisy than normal.

Food, service and ambience all excellent as I continue to experience at this branch.

Friendly efficient staff in general. However could not finish steak as too salty. No real apology- the gentleman whom the waiter told spoke to me and implied that I was at fault as I had not returned my meal. I did not ask for refund as I had eaten half the steak- however a more sincere apology or a small gesture would have made me more likely to eat here in future. When staff ask if you enjoyed your meal they should be prepared for the occasional negative response and a sincere apology should always be offered. In customer service, if you want repeat custom - the customer is always right!

Good food at a fair price in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Staff attentive and helpful without being overpowering. Noise level is sometimes a bit loud but will definitely be back.

Always a pleasure to eat at Cote. Food and staff unfailingly excellent. Beautifully cooked haddock was complemented by an interesting pea puree. My latte actually tasted of coffee!

Excellent service. Quality and presentation of food absolutely perfect. The team were attentive, friendly and nothing was any trouble. They were full of energy and understood the importance of delivering excellent customer service. My only negative comment would be mobile phones should be banned or at the very least put on silent. This is no fault of the staff but reflects the rudeness and ignorance of customers who seem to think it’s acceptable to carry on a pointless conversation that is no interest to customers who are trying to have a conversation with each other.

Another excellent meal at Cote Brasserie Edinburgh. The lunch set menu is incredible value at £11.90 for two courses. Complimentary filtered water was provided and the staff couldn't have been more attentive without being in any way intrusive. Thoroughly recommended.
