Oh my goodness, every time without fail this place gets better and better! The chefs are excellent, truly! If you like fish then the Breton fish stew is amazing! Going back next week 👍

Very good food. Great restaurant - we have been a number of times now and it never disappoints. The service charge is ridiculous though at 12.5% which does disappoint.

It was a very pleasant evening.the staff were attentive and the food was very good. The house wine was not as chilled as I would have liked it but they readily brought a glass of ice

This was our second visit and as before the restaurant was very busy, the service was excellent could not be better. The menu has something for everyone, we had starters and main courses. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

The restaurant has great ambience and the food was delicious. I have an allergy and at first there was a mix up over what I could eat, but they were very apologetic and soon remedied the situation.

Always have a good solid meal at Cote. Consistent and wide choice of tasty dishes. Very reasonable set menu on weekdays make this place a winner

The food was excellent as usual, and great value. We had a waitress we have not seen there before - would have been rated a 6 except that we had to ask her for cutlery and napkins after she had brought our dishes!

It was very nice would recommend. Toilets could maybe do with a revamp though. Apart from that would go back again. Food was delicious, menu varied

We had a lovely lunch at Cote The staff are all exceptionally friendly and the upstairs restaurant was light and tasteful. The set menu was delicious and seemed extremely good value.

I returned to Cote Brasserie as I had enjoyed meal there fairly recently. My friend and I chose the set 3 course which is great value and each course so tasty - perfectly cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and attentive which added to a pleasant and relaxing experience and I plan to go back again soon.

Excellent meal would highly recommend. Birthday lunch for 3 including gluten free meal was delicious. Attentive waiting staff but feel the service charge might be acceptable in London but is high for Edinburgh

Got a nice welcome on arrival. Good menu and excellent food (although they had none of 'specials' wine offer so substituted a bottle and reduced meal price) plus good service in an enjoyable atmosphere.

Staff were lovely, meal was great, except some of the side dishes ordered were undercooked.. (not to people's taste) Overall I would book again here!

good starter and weekend special half a chicken tasty but a bit cold which was a shame back to serving food on cold plates which was not the case last time as i eat there once a week it seams to depend on the service each time £110 for three for lunch and a bottle of wine and a coke was ok but £12 service charge i wouldnt have tipped that much for average service still overall good will be back next week for breakfast or lunch

Enjoyed the experience today. It was our first visit to Cote and we all would go back again. The staff were very pleasant and helpful . Food was very good.

Good selection both on set and al a Carte menus. Service good too . Only negative a bit of a draught from the door. Have been to branches in London and standard is consistent.

Great ambiance and food. Attentive staff without being overbearing and no blaring musical so our party could comfortably converse without shouting - a huge bonus!

Part of our group was late because of traffic and staff were very understanding and helpful. One of our group was just a toddler and again the staff were great. Food was beautiful with free Kir Royales for the adults as it was my birthday. Well done Cote, that was a great dining experience.

Great value breakfast . Staff pleasant and attentive. Only gripe is 12.5% service charge which is ok if bill doesn't include alcoholic drinks but makes a difference if you do.

Really enjoyed our visit. Food delicious and service very good. I am not sure whether prices justified although are in line with most city centre restaurants.

Great restaurant - food is lovely and the place has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We weren't rushed at all. Will definitely visit again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thank you for a lovely birthday dinner!

I am a frequent visitor to Cote. Today I was not dissapointed. Very tasty mushroom crepes and good service. One comet I should mention. I booked on line and wanted a slot at 12.30. The only available times were 12.00 or 12.45. My companion had a train to catch which made the time tricky. In the event we turned up at 12.30 and were served in plenty time

Great service, lovely staff, smashing food, fine wine, damned good company. The front and back rooms have a smashing atmosphere with a very relaxed feel. Go here and try it, you won't regret it !!!!!

Lovely food. Friendly and efficient staff. Very busy, very noisy and very hot in the back area but still enjoyable. Lunch was decent sized portions at an excellent price.

Food and service great and good value, but if you get a seat at the front of the restaurant, the entrance door from the street is constantly being opened as people come in an go and this makes a very uncomfortable and cold dining experience.

Great service. The best cauliflower soup I've ever tried. Good size portions of salads and soups. Will definitely be going back to this place very soon.

Delightful place, friendly staff and delicious food. We chose the early evening menu which was terrific value at £10.95 for two courses. There was a good choice of starters and mains and the portion size was generous. We will certainly be back.

Standard cote brasserie restaurant in a good position in the New Town. It is quieter than the more tourist-orientated places by the Royal Mile. A good choice.

Excellent food and great service once again. Wine reasonably priced and waiting staff were unobtrusive, but were always there if required. This was the first time I had brought my friend to Côte and she was impressed enough to arrange to bring her mum.

The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. I have taken a few friends with me and they were also happy with their experience.

Good French food and I was very pleased with my Cote Reward of a free bottle of Cotes du Rhone. One slight quibble is the need to pay extra for side dishes.

The food was good but did not necessarily justify the price. The crème brûlée was a bit soggy: quel dommage ! The portions of sauces were meagre.

Enjoyed once again a delightful lunch today. Despite the restaurant being busy the service was first class. Choice of menu is excellent. The dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Great value for money and I would certainly recommend a visit.

Third time of visiting Cote and was, as usual, very good. The wine we chose hadn't been chilled so we were offered another, slightly pricier, for the same cost - excellent!
