Food excellent: Waiter service very good: atmosphere warm and not noisy! Altogether a very pleasant dining experience. To be recommended as a very nice place to have a very good meal.

Very helpful staff and a plethora of menus to decide from. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented. Service was attentive without being cloying. A lovely meal and I will be returning.

My friend and I visited the restaurant on a busy Saturday lunchtime. The staff were helpful and the food good. We were not rushed out the door.

Very nice lunch. Well worth it for 3 courses. Not like a chain as everything tasted so fresh. Will return here as good value and house wine also well priced

Food was wonderful and extremely tasty. However, I was annoyed to find that a 12.5% gratitude charge had been added to the bill. Despite the food being great I will not be coming back to the restaurant due to this extra charge

Friendly service, lovely food and quick service at a busy lunchtime. Have eaten in this chain in London before and the Edinburgh bistro was as good if not better. Highly recommend a visit.

Good food, good value choice of wine with excellent efficient service all at an amazing price. What else could you want. Finish with a glass of the heavenly Montbazillac!

the had run out of 4 or 5 mains and a similar number of dessert options - pretty poor. Given there is a tesco express & sainsburys local both within a100m, its baffling why they couldn't even go and get some extra french beans .

Very enjoyable evening, lovely food, great service, tables too close together and a very noisy table were the only drawbacks, had to move table to avoid the noisy table.

Incredible food of the highest quality, plenty of choice for veggies too. Amazing service, lovely waiters and waitresses. Comfortable chairs, room temperature perfect and interior decor very fancy and feels posh but price still decent

Staff efficient. Food was expensive and not the most flavoursome. Also, the 12.5% tip is steep and a bit sneaky as I imagine many guests would not notice this and proceed to add their usual tip of around 10%. For a mediocre meal, with one small glass of wine it was £80!

Reasonably priced lunch menu with great atmosphere in centre of Edinburgh. Would highly recommend. Lovely decor and wine list. Nothing else to say! Leave me alone

The welcome and service were both excellent. The food is always great value and really good quality. The atmosphere is ambient and welcoming. All in all a great place to dine and i would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Allan is a considerate and excellent manage.

Friendly service and warm on freezing night. Food always reliable, good and fresh although tuna steak in my salad nicoise not as big as I am used to in Cote restaurants. Will definitely go again though.

We are big fans of Cote annd have dined in their restaurants in Winchester and Canterbury recently - it was good to discover one in Edinburgh which met our expectations for good value and service. Would have preferred the downstairs room for atmosphere but nevertheless we had a very nice lunch and had no complaints.

Always enjoy going here but today the main course could have been a little warmer. However service and atmosphere made up for that and I would still recommend it

Great night out here with the girls ~ food, wine, service absolutely perfect. Restaurant was buzzing, so that gave it a lovely atmosphere without it being too noisy to hear yourselves speak.

This relaxed brasserie has friendly service and a great range of options on the menu. We really enjoyed our food and were pleasantly surprised by the good range of reasonably priced wines.

Good quality, reasonable prices, good service; I'm sure we'll return before too long. The only thing I'm less keen on is the fact that the service charge is added before you get the bill.

First table in a cold draught. Moved to back room where there was plenty space, Very hot plates but cool food which had to be replaced. Food fine but disappointed.

Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great bar and super food, particularly the breakfasts. The hotel has a good position providing rapid access to the delights of Edinburgh.

Great choice of meals, including gluten free. Service was superb and clean plates all round. Definitely recommend for a night out with family or friends. Close to George Street for the Christmas lights too!

My food was cold when it arrived had to be reheated..and our wine wasn’t cold enough. The area we sat in at the back wasn’t that nice. The layout in the Glasgow Restaurant is much nicer. I would not return.

We were welcomed as soon as we entered through the door, the food was wonderful ( being coeliacs this isn't always the case) the staff could not do enough for us. A fabulous evening

Excellent service. Restaurant very busy so waited a bit for main course but worth the wait! All my Guests loved their first visit. Our waiter very friendly and attentive.

We went to Cote on 15 Nov for their lunch deal. The quality of food, service and surroundings were all excellent, quite unbelievable for the price!

Had lunch in Cote Edinburgh yesterday. Quality & service is consistant whichever branch you visit. Knew exactlty what to expect, and thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine.

Mediocre food, terrible service. Some of the food was out of stock and cheaper substitutions were used, while trying to get a waitrons attention was like trying to hail a cab in NYC.

Staff very friendly and polite we ate from the early evening menu and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Wine list is very well priced.

Restaurant is lovely and in the heart of Edinburgh. Great service and great food. The Hake was beautiful. Thouroughly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Pre theatre menu - good choice, quality and tasty. Thought it was good value in the city. Discovered "Cote" in Cirencester and are now following you throughout the country.
