We had a lovely evening at Cote.The staff were attentive and helpful. Ihave a few unusual allergies to seal with and there allergin menu was great.Atmosphere was relaxed and the food tasty.

Food was horrible and we paid £80 for to people .Not coming back !

Amazing as always. Have been coming here every month since it opened ( driving 45 miles each way to do so) and it's always been fabulous. Came tonight for my 30th birthday meal with my partner and as always everything was brilliant - food, service and drinks. They had also reserved my favourite table so thanks again

Wet day in Edinburgh when we arrived for lunch - good Covid procedures and plenty of well spaced tables. Good welcome, friendly and professional and an attentive server who looked after us very well. Slight issue with a main course however Colin expertly retrieved the situation without any fuss - he is a great ambassador for Cotes! All in all a very enjoyable lunch and to be recommended.

A thoroughly enjoyable meal - I suffer from a Gluten and Dairy intolerance so my wife's and my enjoyment was greatly enhanced by the care taken by the Staff and by their attention to and support of this dietary intolerance. Thank you.

Excellent lunch, good menu choice only spoiled by waiter not informing us that one dish had sold out when we were given the menu. Food was of a very good standard.

Quite simply ... the best ! The food, the wine, the service, the ambiance and the staff were all absolutely first class. Such a high standard of cuisine for a very reasonable price. Lovely meal, not that it spoiled anything. Just a little more care with the ordering, although we prefer a gap between courses may be other diners would have complained about the wait. The mistake with our bill was handled very well. We will be back.

My Husband and I booked for Lunch...We arrived at the restaurant a bit early, but it wasn’t a problem for the lovely staff to seat us immediately...the food and presentation absolutely beautiful and the service impeccable...I would thoroughly recommend trying out this gem of a place 😊

We were regulars at Cote prior to the Covid lockdown and are delighted to be back. We have been twice since the restaurant re-opened and it we felt very safe. This is our favourite restaurant in Edinburgh.

Very pleasant experience with excellent service and good food. The staff were very accommodating to our requests and the experience was almost as if everything was back to normal. I have been to other restaurants this week where the fun has been completely removed from eating out and the difference between those place and Cote is stark. It certainly makes me want to visit Cote again.

We were there during the ‘eat out’ but not because of that. We try to go out twice a month anyway, usually to Cote. Despite the restrictions we had our usual good service and food. I was a bit disappointed not to have the usual monthly specials but understandable, there was still plenty of choice. We have been twice this month and found it just as good as normal.

It was the first visit to your restaurant for my husband. I have been on many occasions with friends as on my favourites list. He was more than delighted with his experience, this was a joint celebration for his birthday and our 44th wedding anniversary. Fantastic meal! He now can’t wait for a return visit. See you soon.

It was a good relaxed meal - my only complaint was the temperature of the food - my burger was warm only and same with fries - I felt it had been sitting somewhere resulting in it all being a bit dry to be honest !!

Excellent food and pleasant staff. Atmosphere restricted by current restrictions, however, the food makes up for that. Best Cote meal that we have had. We have eaten in a few others any this was out first trip to Frederick Street. We will definitely be back.

Lovely table, beautiful room, great service all let down by worse than average food. In particular the Lobster Frittes, your top priced main, was a bit dry, over cooked, generally disappointing. We have visited Cote for the fixed price lunch on many occasions and have always been impressed, I think we will give the a la carte a miss in future.
