Have eaten at Cote before and always been impressed - this visit was no exception. Took advantage of the June offer to get a free bottle of rose when dining from the a la carte menu and had the crab mayonnaise to start followed by the steak frites. Both delicious and a lovely meal overall.

Great restaurant in ideal location with outstanding service and food just love this restaurant and it’s friendly staff. Thank you for a great evening look forward to my next visit

Service and setting was excellent. Enjoyed the food apart from the onion soup. It was too rich and did not like the bread and cheese on top. It was too soggy and was difficult to cut and eat it. It was messy for me as had to take it out of the bowl to cut it but couldn’t eat it after a couple of bites. Having said all that I have had better onion soup. But I will be back to your restaurant but will miss out the soup!

Food was okay. But to pay 12,5% service charge on the bill for that, it’s ridiculous. There was no service at all and the person who took the order, he got it all wrong! We waited a long while for our starters. Overall I’m truly disappointed.

Excellent good value lunch menu. Lovely Kir Royal. Four different seating areas including tables outside. Serving staff all have different roles which can mean confusion when you ask for something extra and they don't bring it to you table.

Dined here during May. We were made very welcome, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic food. Will definitely dine here again when we next visit Edinburgh.

Solid food as always. Portions have become smaller that they once were and staff need to work on their gender bias, not assuming that the dude always pays. Other than that, tasty food, friendly staff and will be back.

We have been here for lunch before and service was very attentive.Arrived for evening meal and it was quite the opposite. We were given menus and left to wait and wait. Eventually gave up and went to an Italian close by where the service was amazing!

Helpful staff: choice of tables, change of chair, very accommodating. Good service excellent food. We have been to Côte many times before in various locations and the experience has always been good.

Overall great service, fab wine and the food was on time. Some delay with our starter but that was a small delay that didn’t bother he test of the party too much.

My first visit with a friend for my birthday. Lovely attentive staff, excellent food and the free bottle of Syrah was an added bonus. We were both delighted to find decaffeinated tea available. I'm looking forward already to my second visit at the end of the month.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and fantastic service. Everyone in the party was impressed with the quality of the food. Cote is also one of the only places in central Edinburgh to offer set menu deals over the weekend as well. Will definitely be back.

Very varied menu & pleasant surroundings, helpful & attentive staff. Toilets not clearly signposted-used disabled loo rather than search about. Will no doubt go back, though.

The food was very good but our first course order was wrong making us wait longer before we ate. I don't like the way the automatically add the tip to the bill leaving you embarrassed if you wish to pay your tip in cash.

For the first time I was disappointed today. My starter on flatbread was not very appetising and my two friends said there fish dish was very bland.

Always a good experience regarding food and service. However, sometimes it is very noisy when dishes and glasses are being restacked on the glass shelves and when the ‘dumb waiter’ is in use.

Love the food love the atmosphere both Edinburgh and Glasgow have been really enjoyable. Have taken friends and family all have said they have enjoy it .

I was here last night with my daughter for dinner. We both had a lovely evening the food was so good. The staff and surroundings were excellent and we will definitely be back.

Excellent breakfast but shame they charge for an extra cup of coffee!! I enjoy cote brasserie very much but would prefer to opt-in to a service charge rather than have to opt out.

Staff were attentive , some might say more than required, Food was well prepared and portions were adequate all in all a reasonable meal at a fair price...
