Loved our first trip to Cote, it won’t be our last! Great food and drinks, and the loveliest staff who were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Really good food, great service and a nice vibe about the place.

The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Silva. It is always good to acknowledge regular customers and reward loyalty especially at this time. What I would like to see you improve on is telephone contact. You never answer the telephone when the restaurant is called and one is asked to leave a message and someone will call back. This doesn't always happen. It's just not very good customer service.

Delicious food and lovely staff, Albany! During these uncertain times it can feel a bit different with certain things however my visit felt like any normal day! Prompt service with very welcoming & polite staff throughout the restaurant. The food was full of flavour and value for money. The atmosphere without background music due to the current guidelines didn’t make my experience any different with the chat of other customers flowing through the restaurant.

Staff were excellent as usual. Good chat, good service and good food even in difficult circumstances. Missed the set menu which is always good value

Excellent lunch at Edinburgh Cote, Frederick Street. We appreciated the good choice on the menu and found it easy to select very tasty food which we both enjoyed. Friendly and professional service and a very pleasant French atmosphere. We’ll certainly be back.

Staff were excellent but had to send the fillet steak back as not a 7 or steak. This caused a 20 minute delay. The door was kept open which made it quite cool later on.

I have been to several Cote restaurants from London to Farnham to Edinburgh. Yesterday it was in Edinburgh. I realise I have missed out over the last few months and it is so good to have it back in business. The standard has not diminshed at all and our lunch was excellent. A lovely welcome from the staff and great service.

Wonderful food, top notch service, great wine list. This place is a total winner. I don’t think prior reviews do it justice. The fish and steak are great. Service is both attentive and friendly. And their praline crepes gave me life. A neighborhood gem and a staple for Good Eats, for sure.

The three of us had a very enjoyable meal with excellent service. Portions were just right and it all tasted very good. Cote Edinburgh seems to be doing well despite the challenges of covid-19.

As we are an elderly couple we have not eaten out since February but decided that we should make the effort so we booked for brunch. We have used this restaurant frequently in the past and had sampled the Cote Home offerings so knew what to expect in terms of food and service but were somewhat apprehensive regarding the Covid arrangements. It proved that there was no need for any worries. Everything was very well organised and at no point did we feel in any way uncomfortable. Food and service were well up to the normal standards and we really enjoyed our first Covid venture.

So good, always my first choice place to go no matter the city

What’s not to like? During these difficult times Cote are able to help you escape from reality for a short time!

Brunch very good, and no drop in delicious flavours and quality of cooking whatsoever. I had vegetarian, my friend full Scottish, we enjoyed everything and the orange juice and coffees too. Staff still offered personal service behind masks, hats off to them

Very quick service - like the atmosphere - would have liked more walnuts and avocado in the salad.

Cote serves reliably excellent food that is excellent value. All of us thought our starters, mains and desserts were fantastic and we were very impressed with the service. I would have absolutely no hesitation in visiting this restaurant ( or the one in Newcastle) again. Thank you!

Another lovely lunch in Edinburgh staff as always terrific. We do think it’s time to get back to the lunch/early evening menu it was great value and missed. Think if you do the restaurant will be back to its usual busy self and all the regular customers will be back.

As always, the welcome, service and ambience were excellent. The cote habit of having two staff serve food from a tray all at the same time is great. There was no inclusive lunch menu yet but what we had was beautifully presented and good to taste. I had tuna and loved it. This has been a favourite place of mine for years!

What a fantastic evening. The manager & staff looked after us brilliantly. I find it difficult to find the superlatives to describe their attention. In addition the meal was excellent.
