Food was good and restaurant pleasant. Staff were attentive without being pushy. Makes a good place for a bar lunch

Good as ever. We've eaten in Cote the length and breadth of the UK. Always consistent, decent food with excellent service. One star missing because we sat next to a VERY, VERY loud customer - not Cote's fault, but it slightly marred our otherwise superb experience!

We were a group of 5. We chose from the Prestige Set menu which had a really good range of dishes. The ordering was relaxed and the delivery of the food was prompt but not rushed. All of the courses were delicious. We all thought it good value for money.

Fabulous food and service. Great comfortable corner table but not convinced about the music choice. Not sure it created quite the right atmosphere. Would recommend as a relaxed and comfortable dining experience right in the centre of Edinburgh.

I have come to expect the finest of food and service at Cote and again I was not disappointed.

Usual good food and wine in a relaxing environment with good service. We have used many times and would certainly recommend.

Very nice food. Good value from the set menu. Although the service was pleasant, it was really slow. Seem to be under staffed. It unfortunately let down the over all experience.

Great meal! The lamb in particular was excellent also, great to see such an extensive gf menu. Be back soon x

Arrived early and didn't have to wait for table. Service was great, food fantastic and staff delightfully attentive.

Always enjoy everything about Cote Edinburgh. Frequently recommend to friends and family. Only down-side - it can get very noisy in the middle and back areas of the restaurant. I try to get a table at the front of the restaurant. My favourite table is in the window.

We had a lovely meal and were looked after well. One problem, green beans as a side was missed from our meal. To compensate, we were offered that all sides would be taken off our bill which we refused and insisted that only the beans were taken off because otherwise the meal was perfect and we will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening. Worth every penny.

Whilst in Edinburgh for a break, I dined twice at Cote both at a lunch time and an evening. Both meals were delicious as was the prosecco and rose wine too. I had Calamari both times as it is very tasty and I found the service to be impeccable.

Great service, friendly staff and the food was well presented and delicious- you ask for a medium rare steak and it’s done perfectly marvellous.

The meal was (main course and dessert) was well-prepared and presented, and enjoyed by all three members of our party. We were, however, disapppointed by the wine.

Another fine meal at Côte! Their seabass, consisting of 2 large fillets, is substantially better value than other similar Edinburgh restaurants who tend to give very small single fish fillets. Overall this is a good restaurant and well worth a visit.

I had lunched at Cote before. This time it was with my publisher, who loves French food. She liked Cote very much indeed and thought the cuisine was authentic (high praise, coming from her). The Sea Bass and the Onion Soup were especially good. We did not try the wine list as it was a really hot day; instead we drank delicious cranberry juice. There was sometimes a bit of a wait between courses - and the restaurant was not full - but we were so enjoying our conversation that it did not matter.

A most enjoyable family meal with excellent service. Unfortunately this is the third visit to a Côte restaurant by my brother in law when his choice of main course was not available! Also since this pretends to be a French restaurant Some dishes could be more ‘authentic’ eg where was the rouille with my onion soup ? And how about teaching your staff the correct pronunciation ?

Sardine starter was lovely and hake/courgette main really generous for the price.

Never disappoints - food, service and ambience consistently good. Set menus great value. Would definitely recommend.

The lady Maitre D was superb but the Kenyan waitress was sullen and lacked social skills. Overall though, love the restaurant.
