Most enjoyable meal, food may be fairly simple but well cooked and good quality. We will be back!

Good food and wine. Maybe the ribeye on this occasion had a couple of chewier bits than last visit. Have the linen napkins been replaced by paper ones permanently? these felt a bit cheap

Loved it as ever, though on this occasion the risotto was overcooked. The staff are always polite, efficient and courteous.

We had a great evening at Cote as a special night out with our family. The staff took excellent care of our gluten free kiddo, were attentive to us and gave us space as well. The food was all delicious!

Food is always good value for money But service lacking and inexperienced and music far too loud so asked fo it to be turned down. For a chain of restaurants Cote is always reasonable.

Staff looked after my party extremely well for my friend’s birthday celebration. Only minor criticism is that our ‘Mains’ could have been hotter and served on hot plates. Look forward to returning with same party for another birthday celebration in December.

My food was very poor . I had the mussels which had little taste. My main course was the breaded haddock which was dry and over cooked. The dessert I had was the crumble which was cold and should have been hot. No apologies from the member of staff who took my plate to obviously put it in the microwave!! It was also dry! A service charge of 12.5% being added to the bill is a joke and should be scrapped with tips being left to the discretion of customers!

Cote is a consistently good experience for us. Great location in Edinburgh and we enjoy the French themed menu.

We came to Cote for an early evening dinner 6pm ,as we were going on to a concert nearby. Our starters of French Onion Soup were delicious and we followed with Salmon and the Pork both of which we really enjoyed. We were finished our main courses by 6.40 which we thought gave time for a dessert and we ordered an apple crumble . We were not informed that the dessert would take around 15 minutes to be served and by 7 pm we asked when it would be served as we needed to leave soon. At 7.10 we decided to pay the bill and leave . As we went to pay the dessert finally arrived but we had no time to eat it. However we still paid the full bill and service charge. The point of an early doors offer is surely to provide a fairly speedy service. It was a disappointing end to a good meal. I would appreciate a response from Cote.

We loved it. It was my first visit to Cote today, the service was exceptional, ambience was relaxed. I gad the croissant, yoghurt and fruit salad for breakfast it was delicious! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a fabulous experience. Lynn

This was my third visit. Of course I returned because I had enjoyed the previous visits with a friend. This time I brought my husband!!! We both throughly enjoyed our afternoon. The food was very very good and the staff were lovely. Very efficient service with the appropriate balance of friendliness and efficiency. It was just right and I will certainly return.

Another excellent meal at Cote. Despite being sat in the window it was very dark would be my only criticism.
