My 4th visit. I have been to CÔTE I. Covent Garden too. All visits have been delicious and pleasant.

I was very impressed with everything. I arrived early and was shown to a table upstairs. The waiter brought water automatically. When my friend arrived the drinks order was taken and we were given evough time to decide on food. The food was up to the usual standard and the service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant.

Another delicious meal. Sat upstairs for the first time, which was nice and cosy. Food and service was good, although it seemed the table next to us always got served before us, despite us ordering food and drinks on both occasions first. It was also very dark. Initially it was warm and cost but after about 20mins the lights were further dimmed to the point you could hardly see. Not ideal. Have always had a good meal here and would certainly come back, this hopefully was just a blip.

The best thing was the friendliness of all the staff.

Really enjoyed our mains, thought the lettuce in the bacon and egg salad was a bit limp and wet. Main course was lovely as was my friends soup. Really lovely staff as always .

Excellent food, exceptional choice and good service - what’s not to like?

Lovely welcome and seated at round table for 6 which was excellent. However it went downhill after that. Customers seated after us were served before us. Initial waiter not very friendly. Confusion over whether we could pick from both menus. Delays in clearing table and main course being served. One of our party asked if we’d been abandoned. Change of shift blamed. However the situation considerably improved by lady staff member who instigated complimentary puddings!! This was much appreciated. We all found food delicious but initial problems marred the evening.

Really lovely evening. Great service and tasty meal. I’ve been here a few times and it is always perfect.

Lovely atmosphere. Very efficient and welcoming staff. Cheese served a little cold. Skin on the duck not crispy, however very tasty. However these little niggles negated by the wonderful staff. Would I recommend, definitely, it was just my personal preference which I did not mention at the time as nothing could have been done about it

Had a lovely 2 course evening meal here - the chicken dish was very tasty. Staff were polite and helpful. Good choice of gluten free options which were specially served by the manager wearing gloves so felt very secure that they were aware of my requirements and also cross contamination which can be a bit risky for someone with coeliac disease when eating put. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Cote. The staff looked after us all so beautifully and we all agreed that the food was faultless. A fabulous experience and I highly recommend everyone to go there. Exceptionally good value for money.

Lovely venue and nice staff. Food was also very good. We were not rushed to leave and staff kept coming back to check if we wanted anything else.

We had a lovely meal out for our son’s birthday at Côte. The staff were very helpful in making suggestions from the menu and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to arrive. My only complaint is more of a suggestion: let people decide the gratuity/tip on their own. Most British people will tip 10% and Americans will actually tip more, (usually 15%,) provided the food and service is good. Even though the gratuity is clearly stated as being optional, many people would rather make the gratuity in cash and not have it suggested to them. When it’s paid by card, I am always suspicious that management will keep it and it won’t be shared amongst the staff, as it should.

I really enjoyed our family meal on Saturday my only minor niggle is about the way that London chains have introduced a "discretionary" service charge of 12.5% when the norm in Edinburgh was always 10%.
