Very good experience - have been going for lunch on regular basis Fridays Staff lovely and represent their work in a very positive way, are cheerful and attentive plus follow all extra protocols for COVID with due diligence. Meals have been excellent and October menu added a variety of choice.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic Birthday lunch with you lovely people. The customer service was impeccable, the food and wine excellent. We had a great time, and will be back. Stay well and safe all. Thanks again. K&A x

Delicious food and excellent service at the Edinburgh branch. I would thoroughly recommend Côte for anyone who enjoys french food.

First time I've ever had a disappointing meal at Cote, Edinburgh. Fish Parmentier for main course was not enjoyable. The usual light sauce that the fish is served in was almost non- existant. This resulted in very dry salmon, prawns and smoked haddock and rather a lot of mashed potato topping. Hope this was a one-off experience. Was not charged for this poor meal but was left hungry.

Main courses could have been hotter, and the cheese board portions were microscopic. I am in the habit of eating at Cote, Glasgow which I have always found to be first class, but sadly Edinburgh just didn’t compare.

Had a lovely evening and meal on Saturday. Felt safe. Service was very good as was the food.

In normal times, we are regulars at Cote both for a casual coffee and lunch, usually to celebrate a birthday. Yesterday it was just two of us from our group, but it was great to expereince the buzz, the ambience and see family groups enjoying themselves. We know all the staff who were extremely pleased to see us. The food is always delicious and well presented, accompanied with a glass of fine French wine.

We had our favourite table in the window away from other guests. The staff were friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. The toilets were clean. The food - as ever - was good, as was the wine. All in all, we had a lovely Saturday night out.

Have dined here several times and have always enjoyed it. Once again it didn't disappoint. Good food and good service.

The food was lovely however, the whole evening was ruined. I sat and watched as a black man went to the kitchen to bring orders out and stand at the table to wait for a waiter or waitress to take the trays off him and give to the customers. I have never witnessed anything quite like it! I was appalled, it was as if the black employee was not worthy of delivering the plate straight to the diner! I would like to know if this is the case, the restaurant was in Edinburgh.

Very attentive staff and a varied tasty meal. Window table gives additional attractive viewpoint and mention any special anniversary for an extra treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

As my steak was not cooked properly, the staff changed it promptly and without fuss.

Just love it here the staff are always amazing and the food is never disappointing can’t recommend it enough, just a great place to meet with friends and family for an enjoyable meal, breakfast lunch or dinner.

I’ve never had a bad meal here and eat here quite frequently. I love the fish stew its my favourite. There’s a great choice on the menu and I love french wine, so its all good.

Food was delicious and good choice on menu. Toilet access was a bit of a maze with several doors to negotiate. In these times it would have been better if no touch doors (wedged open if necessary) were available to access the toilets.

Restaurant was dead but seated at the smallest available table in front of door. Starter was served before we even ordered drinks. 12.5% “optional” (read mandatory unless you want to chase your server through the restaurant to ask for it to be removed) service charge is an absolute cheek. Service charge/ tip should be in recognition of the service received, not something forced upon diners for mediocre service. Stick your prices up if they don’t cover the cost of paying your staff a decent wage

Myself and my girlfriend had a great time at Côte Brasserie restaurant on Fredrick Street, Edinburgh. Great food. Staff were very friendly and made the experience a very good enjoyable one. Highly recommended

Absolutely a lovely experience. Professional and helpful staff. Super clean and well spaced out. Gorgeous food and wine. Great choice. We intend to eat out in Newcastle next, having already enjoyed Leeds prior to this pandemic. Went for a meal for my sisters birthday and with all the new pressures of the 10pm finish the service we received was outstanding. There was slight delay with our food but the lady serving us did so much to make up for the delay she was so attentive and friendly and her customer service was amazing I’m annoyed I didn’t get her name!

Great service. Social distancing never been a problem even in good old days.

I found the staff to be friendly,efficient and prompt with requests. Our courses all arrived in very good time. The pork belly was lovely but a bit more cabbage would not have gone amiss.

Excellent service and food, and a very relaxed atmosphere in these current very strange times. All staff and diners were taking sensible precautions and following guidelines in order to safeguard the health of everyone else. The waiting staff got it spot on in terms of clearing away used dishes while allowing us to dictate the pace of our meal. All round excellent.

Simple food very well cooked and presented. Our dishes were a mix of Olives- yummy Salmon with ratatouille Sea food “stew” Just perfect Waiting staff are very friendly and super efficient. Thanks

We often visit Cote Brasserie wherever we visit as we believe it to be a "reliable brand" wherever we are in the UK. Once again in Edinburgh we were right. The staff were courteous and helpful. The COVID-19 rules were being adhered to very well. The food was excellent as always. They catered very well for my wife's allergy needs. My only issue was that they didn't have a Gluten Free breakfast menu. Don't get me wrong, the waiter was very good and knowledgeable to help with identifying what was good for my wife, it just made the process a little more complicated than normal. Otherwise a lovely dining experience.
