Côte Edinburgh

My girlfriend and I have frequented the Côte in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and have always had a great experience at both restaurants. The food is fantastic and the service is great! We will always come back to these places for these reasons.

Service & choice of menu is excellent. Our go to restaurant when we are up in town

We had a warm welcome, a choice of tables and the food was excellent and at a reasonable price considering the location in the middle of Edinburgh.

Food was delicious, however the place was very busy. We did not expect to be that busy on Monday. Staff were doing their best to serve every table however, it would be easier to have a few more to help. There was a sad misunderstanding with birthday surprise, which I thought was approved in advance. However, Sylvian made his best to improve bad impression. Overall we had really nice Christmas Dinner. Thank you.

We were greeted straight away & then shown to our table. A very nice waiter helped us choose a lovely red wine. Only problem was the delay with our dessert but the restaurant did get busy. The waiter apologised & sorted it straight away & deducted a glass of wine from our bill which I was most impressed with. We will definitely come back again.

I am a regular diner at Cote and the food is always delicious, the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. The atmosphere is great.

As always superb gluten free care. The Cassoulet was outstanding.

We love to eat at cote , and tonight did not disappoint, the food was delicious and the service was the usual high standard even though they were very busy we still felt so welcome ,so we have booked our next dinner at Cote and are looking forward to it , it might seem unreal to give five stars for everything but it was deserved .

Food, service and wine all excellent. Was a wee bit noisy but lots of people out for Christmas lunch.

It was a big night for Christmas parties and the speed with which our order arrived made me think this was not cooked fresh and sure enough my haddock goujon dish tasted as though it had been under a hot plate for a while. My partner chose a Beef Bourguignon so that can be left simmering for hours. Good friendly service. Be nice to see slightly more adventure within the menu to make it more distinctive.

This is my 3 visit in 3 months, and my new favourite restaurant in Edinburgh! Ate here yesterday on a very busy service. Must have fantastic chefs! The food was superb, as always. The staff, atmosphere, service, and ambience were all first class. Great value for money & consistently good!

Food excellent as always and service good. Disappointed to not receive the complimentary cocktail that I’d usually get because the server said I hadn’t booked through the app. I’m sure I had, as that’s how I always book the restaurant. Considering I dine out in the restaurant regularly, I would’ve expected more. Still had a lovely time with my friend.

Have used Cote several times recently and always found staff friendly and attentive. Have used the Specials menu and find the food grt quality and consistent every time. Well done Cote. Will b back.

Fabulous meal. Unfortunately our waiter misheard our order serving fillet steaks instead of the fillet steak rossini. However when this was pointed out he changed the dishes with no fuss and then to top this off, didn’t charge for my armangac. Very very impressed!!!!!

The food was lovely, and it was nice to arrive with the table set up with Christmas crackers, however, the service was too slow. We were on a work Christmas lunch, as i'm sure many people are this time of year, so although prepared to take longer than our usual hours break - after pre-ordering food we did not expect our starters to come well over 45 minutes after arriving in the restaurant. We also had to ask three times for our desserts. We were told it was because of the baked cheese, but surely as we pre-ordered this, the timings could have been managed better. Dissappointing tinge to what was otherwise a wonderful meal.

We often go to Cote but this was the first time we took other people with us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal had a great time and ate too much.

Enjoyed our meal at Cote Edinburgh, however we were sat by the door and it was very draughty. Most courses were good, but my friends had the rissotto which they said was cold and not properly cooked. Otherwise all good.
