Côte Edinburgh

Overall experience was ok, nothing to rave over. I have been to Coté many of times and this particular visits has left me dissatisfied.

The welcome was very warm. The food was delicious and the manageress was very professional and attentive.

Bit disappointed there was a set menu for New Years Eve. This restricted the choices available for our children ans was 3 courses only with no option for 2. We booked in advance and were not informed on conformation that this was the case. Obviously by the time we arrived it was too late to change our plans. Disappointing after many excellent meals at Cote.

Love this restaurant. Reasonable prices for great food and always lovely waiters. All four of us had a thoroughly enjoyable Hogmanny dinner last night - Thank you.

Food was all beautifully presented, delicious and excellent value. All members of staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Excellent evening, will be back very soon.

Excellent . Thé welcome very good. Thé cooking excellent with good produits ans various. Thé post IS to Can eat gluten free résolu. Its very serius for thé caeliac propos.

Slightly disappointed not to be told before we ordered what was not available, the result being everything I ordered was unavailable and had to decide again what to have. Other than that the service was as usual very good, the food and ambiance exceptional. Would recommend this restaurant any time.

Excellent night. We are fairly regular in Cote because it never lets us down. Our friends first visit and they say it will not be their last.

Fourth visit. Just as good as the first. Attentive and cheerful staff and food cooked exactly as it ought to be. Hasn’t disappointed yet.

Excellent meal. We were given the table that I requested, the food is consistently good, (which can’t be said for many restaurants), and the creme caramel was the best ever!

Really nice, after the hectic cooking of the Xmas meal the day before, to come out and have brunch at Cote and then stroll it off through the relatively quiet city centre afterwards.

Great meal and wonderful staff as always. It was spoiled early on by a very selfish family who let there small child run around the restaurant shouting with no regard to other diners for at least half an hour.

Wee bit disappointed at least 3 choices on the menus were not available server said that’s because it’s Sunday Don’t understand when a restaurant is open for business 7 days a week why would they run out of 3 main courses one of which we specifically went for. Kind of disappointing

Lovely lunch , as usual food and wine very good.

Visited with two friends. My soup, pork tenderloin and chocolate mousse were very nice. My friends steak was not good. Staff were aware from booking that one person had her guide dog with her and kindly got water for the dog, but it was only other diners who told us there was a disabled toilet on the restaurant floor - not the staff - and that was after a very difficult walk for someone who is blind and guided by a friend to basement toilets. Staff were very nice but this was our second visit and it would have been helpful to make customers aware of the level access loo.

Never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Great value for money as well.

Eating in Côte is a very enjoyable experience. Food is great, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff can't do enough for you. Also it's very reasonably priced - both food and drink. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend going there.

Meal and service was superb. Really, really good. Only very slightly spoiled by reception manager who handled a timing mix-up poorly.

My first visit to Cote Edinburgh and was completely blown away by the choice and quality of the food (not to mention the reasonable prices), as well as the impeccable service and lovely staff. Definitely one of the most delicious lunches I've had in a very long time!

My girlfriend and I have frequented the Côte in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and have always had a great experience at both restaurants. The food is fantastic and the service is great! We will always come back to these places for these reasons.
