Lovely early evening dinner. The service was great, the food and wine were both really tasty and excellent value for money. Unfortunately our server was busy when we left so we didn’t get to say goodbye or thank her personally. We’ll definitely be back.

Went for the early evening set meal for a change and couldn’t have been more pleased. Whitebait to start and Beef en Croute. Chocolate pot to finish. Bottle of House white so lovely for the price. Great service!

i have eaten several times in Cote Edinburgh and never been disappointed. Tonight food was excellent and service was both swift and attentive. Environment pleasantly relaxed. No complaints.

Overall experience was excellent. One small criticism was that the fish pie (parmentier) whilst delicious, was too small a portion on it's own. it would have benefitted from a side of carrot & broccoli or some other vegetable. I was still hungry after the starter & the main. To be fair, when I did point this out to staff & order a side of chips, they didn't charge for the chips.

All the starters were delicious but my friends said the chicken/bacon parmentier was too salty, the rice in the risotto was too al dente (me) but my other friend said the sausage was delicious. As for deserts créme brûlée delicious, dark chocolate too dense. Coffee delicious

The staff are fantastic and honest , The restaurant location is very good, the décor is perfect. will defo come back for another meal very soon.

Delicious food and attentive servicebut tip should not be added to bill before it’s presented to customer. I prefer to decide the amount of tip I will give .

Great food and service, served by a charming young man. Little atmosphere though apart from the shouting yas at the next table. Hard to hear my freinds conversation because of them.

Enjoyed Cote from moment entered staff attentive food first-class atmosphere is very relaxing .creme caramel delicious. Service is well organized and swift. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous as always. Good food at a reasonable price. Efficient service which is non-intrusive and food is very quick to arrive after ordering. Waiter made a suggestion for a glass of wine which was spot on. Usually go to Cote in Glasgow and Edinburgh keeps up the high standard.

Another excellent visit to Cote this evening. As ever the staff were most attentive and preempted our requirements. The food is well cooked and presented. As mentioned before heated plates would make a huge difference! The menu represents good value for money and the variety of dishes offered is comprehensive.

Excellent visit today for lunch with the family. Good service too and food was delicious. Will be back soon. Lovely wine too. Nice atmosphere.

Love this restaurant and only one small issue stopped it getting 6 stars. The boiled egg in the salad starter was just out the fridge and much too cold. Everything else was spot on.

Lovely lunch time meal and catch up with friends. The service excellent and the food was great! Deserts were really yummy! Excellent selection of drinks! Will definately return soon!

Amazing meal service & quality. We always visit Cote no matter where we are staying. It is always a reliable, value for money and unique experience.

So helpful with gluten free requirements but ordered a steak well done and it came out bleeding Staff were good and took it off bill but I wanted a nice meal and would have paid happily for what I ordered

Great atmosphere and excellent service. Food was gorgeous with short waiting time. Staff were very helpful providing recommendations for wine. Particularly noisy but great atmosphere. Will be returning again. Would highly recommend.

As usual food was excellent as was the service. We try To go twice monthly and often eat from the special menu although we have our favourites from the normal menu. The noise level was very good despite being very busy.

Nice brasserie atmosphere , pleasant and efficient staff , menu is an excellent variety to suit all pallets and importantly the food is well cooked from scratch and has lovely flavours lastly it was good value , I’ll be back again !!

I am a regular customer having been to tge chain 3 times in tge last couple of weeks and while the service was excellent as usual there were a couple of issues which while dealt with satisfactorily slightly marred our experience. The cocktail offered in the deal was unavailable but a suitable alternative was offered. The pork belly crackling served was soggy and limp but when mentioned was taken away and crisped up but should not have been served that way in the first place. The frozen berries dessert did not have enough hot chocolate sauce to melt the berries but more was given when requested. On the whole this experience was unusual and not what we have come to expect from Cote

Our party had a great evening though it is very noisy, but the food is fantastic! When booking please try and get a table at the front or upstairs where is os a little quieter.

We had the set menu lunch a small but good choice and it was delicious at a great price .I had booked table online which is helpful .

Wonderful food in a lovely environment, with friendly & attentive staff. Will most definitely be returning with friends to try more of the menu. The blood orange martini was delicious!

Absolutely wonderful and lovely service. Will certainly be visiting again, it was my cousins birthday treat from me and she said how much she enjoyed herself.

A good meal but free bottle of wine offer not available on the set menu. That was not clear to me in advance of booking my table.

The staff were very friendly and attentive the service was very good the starter was lovely but the meat in the main course was disappointing , quite tough, however they didn’t charge for my meal so would not be put off going again.

Very much enjoyed . Onion soup great, any main worth a shot ,but crème caramel an absolute must. Great friendly service, happily eat here any time.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at a very relaxing pace with excellent service and food at a very reasonable cost. We will return in the future.

The member of staff who looked after our party of 8 could not have done ore to ensure we enjoyed the menu and facility, she was brilliant. The choice of food was excellent and wine choices more than adequate, in a lively, busy restaurant.

Very good initial service and excellent with my celiac gluten free requirements. Understood need for gluten free flags for cook/serving staff but maybe remove when given to customer. Due to seemed shortage of staff when restaurant got busy less attentive. However, would return and recommend Cote.

Fantastic food, really good service where you are not fussed on too much, left to enjoy food and have conversations but checked on at the right time. I am savouring the tasty food, crab, duck and creme Carmel. It was all perfect, we’ll be back

There is a varied and interesting menu and food was delicious. Very pleasant and welcoming service. Certainly worth a return visit. Good location in Edinburgh city centre.

Had dinner at Côte Edinburgh last night for the first time. We loved everything about it! The menu was fabulous, difficult to decide what to eat due to excellent variety of choice. The food did not disappoint, everything was delicious. Every member of staff was welcoming and very attentive. I also loved the decor, and felt that I was sitting in an authentic French brasserie. This will definitely be a regular haunt!

Lovely mother’s day lunch. 2 kids with us. Brilliant service. Staff were so attentive. Lovely food. We weren’t rushed at all. Staff were fab with kids.

Lovely restaurant with good service and a varied menu. If we had a criticism it would be the place was a little chilly.

We were a table of 4. 2 had never visited a Cote before and were very impressed by the menu and quality of the food, and said they would visit again.

Meeting up with friends and we all had a lovely time and everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff were lovely and made up feel very comfortable. Very pleasant afternoon aswe were not made to feel we had to hurry.
