Côte Edinburgh

Have been to Cote Edinburgh many times and never been disappointed the service and food very nice good selection of wines and reasonable prices. It not sure about wines just ask they will let you sample them .the restaurant is very relaxed I would definitely recomend Cote for a nice lunch or dinner in the evening.

Conveniently near to Princes Street. Very pleasant and helpful service. Breton chicken from the "prestige" menu was tasty and excellent value. 2 courses of the "prestige" menu plus a shared cheese board, 2 white wines and a bottle of red and change from £90 for dinner for two. Cote Brasserie never disappoints.

Loved it as usual but unfortunately they let themselves down slightly tonight by charging us for 2 bottles of wine when we only had one. A very embarrassed waitress corrected it immediately. Food and service was excellent as it normally is and they're forgiven, we will still go again.

First time at Cote. Very good choice on all the available menus and quality of food was very good. The creme caramel supreme! Our wine turned out to be the last bottle but our waiter recommended an alternative which was just as good. Will be back.

Restaurant is lovely. Food was all amazing, been twice now and food and drinks are all beautiful. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Looking forward to my next visit.

The only disappointment was that the service charge was included in the price. I prefer to tip separately based on my experience. But otherwise a really good experience- lovely food and atmosphere and I would definitely come again.

Excellent food and service as always. I love coming for brunch here. My favourite place in town. Crepe Complete the best breakfast choice. I would definitely recommend it then.

Lovely relaxed lunch with a gorgeous blood orange martini as an apperatif. Separate gluten free menu offering a wide range of choices so my gluten free dining companion did not feel short changed. Food lovely as ever.

Such a wonderful evening! This was the best dinner experience that we have had in the more than two weeks that we have been in the UK! The atmosphere was superb, the food was delicious, the service was excellent! A truly enjoyable dinner. Thanks so much!

Lovely food, great staff, priced reasonably, second visit equally as good, highly recommended, plenty on the menu for all tastes, will return hopefully sooner rather than later.

Seafood parmentier very disappointing, rather bland with not much fish. Service OK not the usual standard. Attracting attention for service difficult. Customer noise overpowering at first until the restaurant emptied. Usually visit every month but today rather disappointed.

Ex Kent service and quality of the food was very good indeed. In all we very much enjoyed our evening.

The service and meal were both excellent and would have given top marks if we hadn't been given 2 dirty spoons

Very yummy breakfast this morning. Delicious ! Staff as always attentive but not intrusive. Best breakfast in City. If you are looking for a Vegetarian option it's a must. Thank you Cote for a good start to the day !

Cote is one of my favourite place to dine in Edinburgh. Like the food and the environment, the friendly staff and the menu. good value for money.

Great staff an£ lovely lunch. Your rhubarb cocktail was just to die for.

I ordered a starter and a side for my main and intended to have it with my husband who ordered a main course. The starter arrived but not the main. The waitress was called and very kindly sorted it out. It seems the main was not on the system. The food was excellent.

Excellent service, delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere. Food arrived quickly and was perfectly cooked. Staff were very welcoming, especially the hostess. window seat was particularly nice.

Four of us all enjoyed our meal last night. We all ate from the set menu. The steaks were tender, the fish pie was lovely, as was the pork. Good starters and puds too. Lovely buzzy atmosphere in the restaurant, but still had good service.

As usual a really good meal in a great atmosphere and surroundings. The staff were as usual very good without being in your face annoying. The girl at the next table dropped her wine glass and they couldn’t have been more calm about it.

Food and service excellent as usual my 5th visit and never been disappointed with food or service.

Everytime we've been to Côte, it's been a rewarding experience. The plethora of gluten free options makes for easy dining for family with sensitivity and severe allergies.

Lovely atmosphere and food. It is worth a visit and I will definitely be back. Central location no pressure to vacate table and very relaxed.

Superb dinner in buzzy restaurant, friendly and efficient service, great menu choice. A bit drafty near the door but most tables furher away. We plan return.

Very nice food and Hugo gave excellent service - great waiter - credit to Côte.

We really enjoyed our meal here, however three of our party ordered pork belly. Only one out of the three were cooked perfectly. The crackling on the other two were not done correctly.

As always, a most enjoyable evening - delicious food and wine, and professional, friendly service.We will most definitely be back, and look forward to trying more of the inviting menu.
