As usual, good food, well cooked and presented. Excellent value for money which is why we keep coming back. Along with excellent and attentive staff, I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Usual efficient friendly service. 2 courses plus coffee for 2 people £30 approx. Good food, nicely presented. Airy restaurant with relaxing ambience. Not large portions but petfect for lunchtime. Would expect more at dinner.

It would have been a 5, as the food was good, but the notion of a gratuity which is allegedly 'optional' is included in your bill *anyway* and was only thwarted by a total that didnt make sense. So, the 'optional' gratuity was added without my express wish and at £9 was incredible. They must pay their staff minimum wage and that leads to them hiding the gratuity. Not impressed!

Food good (as usual) and staff helpful. Had to ask to move to another table as fierce air conditioning made some parts of the restaurant very cold.

This was the first time we had eaten at Cote. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and a huge selection of food on their menu. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Had a lovely meal from the lunch special menu . The food was beautifully presented and well made. Staff were attentive and looked after us very well. A really nice place for a meal out.

The food is of good quality. Helpful and polite staff, and ofcourse the price. We have been to Cote Brasseries all over the u. k. , it is always good!

Always enjoyable dinner although change over shift in staff seemed to forget about us so not not offered any pudding (although too full to partake) so no great hardship

Great food and service as ever. The ambience is always perfect, staff are attentive without being intrusive and the food is always perfectly cooked. The wines are well chosen and good value.

Lovely Sunday brunch at Cote with great service from friendly helpful staff . We look forward to returning soon and trying out some of the dishes on the new Autumn menu .

Staff are always welcoming and pleasant. Food was fantastic as usual. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch prior to an afternoon at the Fringe. Will be back.

Always check the bill - it's been wrong on 3 occasions! This time a large glass of wine that had gone to the table beside us was put on our bill.

Really enjoyed the food and excellent staff, only slightly spoiled by the noise of crockery being clattered. We were sitting in the middle section where the stairs are.

At the Cotes Brasserie you get great service, (the waiters are charming) and excellent food. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

Can't fault it for service, value and excellent food - the plaice was superb as was the rest of the meal. Definitely a lunch to do again and again

Service and food very good, could have done with just a little bit more time between courses. Had hardly finished one before the next arrived , but overall very enjoyable .

The food was excellent, the staff were really friendly, the wine was tasty and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back for more.

Good deal for 2 or 3 courses, tasty food and good service. Maybe ask for table rather than booth cos we had a rather loud group behind us and we found it hard to talk and hear ourselves. Otherwise no complaints about Cote.

Have been here afew times and no complaints regarding the food. Had the Special Set Menu before 7pm on this visit was good value for money.

Another high quality lunch at Côte Brasserie. One of the specials, Sole Meunière, large and juicy, simply cooked to allow the full flavour of the fish to come through.

Lovely meal as usual; service very attentive but not overly intrusive. Special moules with cider were delicious. Good wine selection, the house red was very pleasant .

Great food and attentive staff. We ate from the anniversary menu and had the three courses for £27.50 with a complementary glass of champagne. The food was very tasty and we have no complaints.

Very reasonable prices. Nice sized portions so I could fit in dessert! Service was quick but not rushed. Great how the specials menu changes on a monthly basis.

Very good overall. The table location was great for four of us in the window area. Food and service were both fine. There was a lack of vegetables in the main course but as this was the 'bargain' menu I guess they have to economise somewhere. I'd visit again.

Good service, The hot chicken dish was a little dry for one of the party but otherwise no complaints. The sweets were enjoyed by all.

It was my birthday, and our waitress picked this up and arranged for a special dessert. She was lovely and the food was great as usual. Only one issue was that the male waiter did not pick up that we had Kir Royale offer and then had to be asked for the champagne which was part of the Anniversary menu.

We were very impressed with the restaurant. Very enjoyable , lovely food and excellent service. Would definitely recommend to all our friends. The creme caramel is superb !

Great value early evening menu. Start of melon was just a half melon in skin, and not cut through. Moules Frites are delicious. Staff are friendly and service was efficient.

Visited Cote for breakfast with two friends. The surroundings were pleasant and the food good. The service was efficient and friendly. Would be happy to go back.

Excellent food and service. Friend very impressed by vegetarian menu - selection far superior to anything we have ever seen. Must be my sixth visit this year.

As usual our group of four enjoyed the choices on the menu and the service was, as usual, first class. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent meal from start to finish. The female chef is obviously classically trained in French food as each dish was perfectly prepared , well seasoned and delicious. Great value set menu. The mussels were fresh and succulent with a wonderful creamy sauce. The peach crumble dessert was heavenly. Service was good. Will definitely be going back.

Booked easily online. Leisurely lunch. Given good table in corner to enable extended lunch time chat. Excellent food and wine and great value for money. Great service. Well worth a return visit.

Service excellent ..lovely atmosphere ... we had Pate and toasted broiche....fillet steak was devine cooked to perfection ...Wine of our choice was a Merlot really nice ....to finish chocolate fondue with ice cream scrummy really lovely evening staff were very attentive would highly reccomend

Good food, an excellent choice with plenty of meat options. Service also pleasant though we had to wait for our booked table. We plan to return with our friends soon.

Heel lekker gegeten en ondanks de drukte hoefden we niet lang te wachten. Personeel is heel vriendelijk, gezellig en hulpvaardig. Kleine vergissingen (bestelling drankjes vergeten) werden heel snel gecorrigeerd. Zeker een bezoekje waard.

Absolutely Cote in great form. Very friendly Staff and an excellent Seasonal Menu and Wine choice. If only all chains aspired to such good quality and value for money

Another delicious meal at Cote. First time our friends had been. They loved it and will be returning, as we will. Always a pleasant dining e pertinence at Cote Edinburgh.

Fantastic time at the restaurant, food was great. I was amazed at gluten free options available which have been very limited in Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend.

Great night in cote can not fault the food or the service. Staff welcomed us when we arrived very relaxed atmosphere I would recommend this restaurant for all the above . Cost good value. Will make this a regular visit when out for dinner or lunch.
