We had a lovely brunch at Cote Edinburgh for Mothers' Day. The staff were efficient, courteous and the food was, as always, excellent. My daughter is a vegetarian and says the Cote vegetarian breakfast is the best around. Very good value for money.

Lovely ambience, food was fantastic and staff friendly and attentive. The restaurant experienced a power cut just as we were finishing our meal and we noticed the staff speaking to customers still waiting to dine and offering various solutions. They handled a difficult situation calmly and efficiently. I will definitely return.

Nice friendly service. Really extensive choices on the Menu. Roast pork belly was well cooked. Kids menu was also quite extensive and they were flexible as well. Went for Sunday early evening and the restaurant was not really too busy at that time but anyway a nice experience

Exceptional service and food as always at the restaurant. The team was outstanding when dealing with an unexpected difficult situation and kept us fully informed of progress and options.

Excellent food, service was good, staff very polite. So nice to find a restaurant that knows the meaning of portion control, you can have three very enjoyable courses and not feel uncomfortable and bloated when you have finished. Wish more restaurants were like this. Awarded full points even though one of our party had to wait for his main course due to an error by the trainee waitress which wasn’t a problem to us, but they took off the cost of the coffees and his beer which was a nice unexpected gesture.

This was my first visit to Cote on recommendations from friends. I was not disappointed. Food delicious, staff efficient abd very pleasant. Will certainly be back.

Ambience, service and food excellent. Always enjoy my visits to Cote and would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. Would say the prices are fairly reasonable too.

Staff very pleasant. We got the table I requested. Food was fine for the price. Complimentary Kirs were a good addition. Unfortunately the mashed potato in one dish was not hot. Overall the experience was fine. However, the service charge is more than most at 12.5%.

Had the 3 course set meal, plenty of choice and the apple crumble was excellent! Just the right portion amount. Only thing I disliked, but personal opinion was the staff kept on lowering the lights until I could barely see, it's a nice atmosphere the first time but they turned it down twice more and it was too dark. However, I will be back and recommending to friends.

Lovely restaurant, busy and cheery. Great menu with multiple choices to suit all. Although busy the staff were attentive and had time for a chat. At under £12. for two courses, thus must be the best deal in town. Highly recommended.

Very good menu and very tasty food. It is a very cold and snowy day in Edinburgh and we were covert comfortable in our window seat looking out at the winter scene.

Quiet night in Cote but service good and food tasty - just wish they did the fixed price menu on a Sunday night! Didn't have the wine we ordered in stock.

I and my friends had a very enjoyable lunch although we did find the ground floor back room noisy with several groups chatting across their tables.

This is one of our go to restaurants in Edinburgh. Never fails to please. We just had a light lunch with a sharing board, beautiful and a pudding accompanied by excellent bottle of house wine

I booked a table for myself and four friends. One friend had recommended Côte having visited for lunch a few weeks ago. We were all very impressed with the service and food. The restaurant was busy so obviously popular. We all chose the two course lunch menu which was excellent value. We will definitely return.

We had an excellent lunch yesterday and the staff were very helpful and friendly. To give back some positive feedback, we thought the breadcrumb batter on the calamaris was too much, the cherry sauce for the duck breast needed a few more cherries to give that extra bite and my husbands steak was cooked to perfection. Overall we really enjoyed our lunch and hope to return and will tell friends of our experience.

First visit to Cote and will certainly be back. Lunch was absolutely delicious and great value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was a very relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent food and service, nice atmosphere, but the experience was spoiled by the 12.5% "optional" Service Charge automatically included on the bill. I am happy to tip - when merited - but do not like being pressured in this way and effectively given little choice as to how and how much to tip.

An excellent lunchtime meal with good service excellent wine and tasty food - The only thing I'd ensure is not to take a table in the front as everytime the door opened a blast of cold air engulfed you!

Very enjoyable meal. Finished desert then waited for staff to come and take our coffee orders. Nobody came it seemed that "service" was over! After several minutes waiting we asked a waiter for the bill. Not the best way to finish lunch.

We have visited a number of Cote Restaurants in London and this was our first visit to Edinburgh's. Meal was very nice and the ambiance was excellent, not too loud and 'clattering' which is something we look for was my wife is partially deaf. Service was excellent, attentive but not rushing. Would highly recommend.

The food was top quality. Great that water on the table was provided as standard. Service was mixed - attentive to begin with but dropped off during the evening.

I have lunch here regularly with friends or family and always have a lovely meal. It is a restaurant I can confidently take people for their first visit.
