We visited for my partners birthday and breakfast was fantastic! Service was quick and friendly and we have booked in again for tomorrow. Would defined recommend.

Our fourth visit, and another excellent experience. The food and drink was delicious and fairly priced, and, as always, the service was spot on. Pleasant surroundings, too, and the loos are spotless!

I would definitely highly recommend the set lunch menu two friends and I had yesterday. The meal was excellent. I have been several times before but it was the first time for my friends. They were very impressed too. I look forward to going back. Thank you.

Cote Edinburgh is a very favourite restaurant of ours. The staff are very professional - the welcome and standard of attention throughout are always excellent. The food is always of a very high standard.

Another very tasty lunch at Cote Edinburgh, service was prompt and friendly, in spite of the restaurant being particularly busy. The plaice was perfectly cooked and delicious.

There were several items on longer available on the menu. When my guest asked for a tonic with lime we were told there was no lime!

A warm welcome from all the staff we encountered, usual lovely food and pleasant atmosphere on a hot evening. So hard to skip our favourites - can't resist the pissaladiere with anchovies!

Lovely atmosphere with comfortable surroundings. Great choice of food on the menu and excellent quality. The staff are always friendly and attentive. I’ve tried many items from the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and never been disappointed.

This is our 5th visit to Cote in Edinburgh and we were very happy with the food we ordered. We were entertaining a friend who lives in the United States and he thought the food was delicious. I had the risotto which was tasty and my husband had the tuna nicoise which he also enjoyed. Our friend had the chicken roti and was surprised by the generous portion. Our only criticism was the slow service which is unusual. The staff were polite and helpful. They may have been short staffed on the Friday evening of our visit. We all thought it was good value for money and would definitely return in future.

Excellent meal served by professional, efficient and friendly staff. Consistent with the many other Cote restarauntts we have visited throughout the UK. RECOMMEND WITHOUT DOUBT.

Great breakfast, real quality at a good price. Pleasant service. Friend from Canada (who has had lunch with me here before) was equally impressed and described it as a "gem".

6 of us enjoyed our meal at Cote. We all chose the set menu so didn’t benefit from the offer of a free sparkling drink that was the July deal. Food was very good and staff were helpful and friendly.

Excellent customer service on arrival, delicious food which is always nicely presented, great table service. Use Cote regularly and would have no hesitation in recommending.

The food is always very well presented unfortunately on this occasion there were 2 items not available from the starters on the special menu. - Ham with the melon and bretton tomatoes.

We were a group of three meeting up after a long time and Cote was the perfect venue for lunch. The service was relaxed and yet attentive. No complaints - food was good too.

Enjoyed the whole experience.. service, food and ambiance just perfect. I’m not a fan of creamy potatoes so I asked for boiled new potatoes which they happily accommodated. Will definitely come back. Thank you 😊

As usual, good choice of food which everyone enjoyed and very helpful servers. This restaurant never disappoints, if you haven’t visited ... you must as soon as possible!

We had a delicious meal here, with excellent service. All the food was also excellent, particularly the calamari and the pissaladiere with anchovies, and the (free) bottle of rose wine was the perfect accompaniment, especially with the asparagus and goat's cheese risotto. My husband also really enjoyed his hake. Well done - this was our third visit, and possibly the best, although all have been most enjoyable.

Good food but didn’t expect 12,5% gratuity to be automatically added. Aircon was a bit too cool considering it wasn’t very busy on a Tuesday

We ate at 4.30pm on Saturday and the restaurant was quiet. As usual, the service was welcoming and helpful. The choice on both the June menu and the à la carte was varied so plenty to choose from. Our German friends thought the food was excellent and the atmosphere too. A very enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch here yesterday. An amazing gluten free menu, so much choice! Couldn’t recommend highly enough. The waiting staff were very attentive and I liked the little gluten free flags on my dishes!

Great service food really good we have been before the only think that was disappointing was I ordered ribeye steak which was really fatty and I didn't get much steak to eat.

Great menu choice with very good servers. No problem.with gluten free it was great. Still put 12.5% service charge on bill and forces one to reduce!!!

Overall it was just ok. Service was quite slow and an adjoining table of same size was served before us although they arrived later. However they were on a more expensive menu. We had bargain menu - asparagus was ok but minimal conte cheese - had to search to find it. Steak was ok but minimal portion of half cooked frites, not particularly hot and not of quality I’ve had there before. I know it’s a cheap menu but a little garnish would have enhanced the presentation of the main. Overall it was underwhelming. There is competition at a similar cost. My friend’s Cafe au lait was more like a weak watery instant coffee - a pity as she is French and was a potential new customer.

Wonderful meal, cheerful greeting and lovely setting. What more could you ask. Lunch with friends is always an extra treat when we meet here. It never disappoints.

Excellent service, sharing board starter never disappoints, my wife and I tried two new main courses and both were delicious. No wonder we keep coming back.

My daughter and I had a delicious dinner after work yesterday in the Edinburgh Cote - we had used a voucher sent for a birthday and not only did we enjoy a Kir Royale on arrival - I was given a lovely bunch of flowers on departure - couldn’t have been better - we felt very spoilt on a week night!

The service was excellent and attention to detail was first class. It was difficult to select from the menu as there was such an extensive range. The cuisine and presentation was wonderful.

This is such a lovely restaurant, with excellent service and divine food. The staff are very friendly, efficient, and discreet, making customers feel welcome and well looked after. I highly recommend Cote Edinburgh.

This was my 5th time here and as always just loved it! Extremely great value for money on the set menu and they change the selections regularly as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Well priced good quality food in a relaxed atmosphere with helpful friendly staff. Menu choice not too big but something for everyone. I'll be back

As always good value and excellent service.. I have visited Cote in Edinburgh and in Covent Garden London and have always had a good dining experience.

Since introducing the enhanced "Prestige Set Menu" there standard set menu has become less satisfying. I would recommend paying the extra for the Prestige menu especially if you do not take a dessert. Of course, this is probably what they intended to happen!

Excellent all round! Great food, first class service, extremely courteous staff and a lovely atmosphere. Very good value for money too. The steak frites was to die for, and the peach crumble is highly recommended!

Excellent menu with a good choice of dishes on both the A la carte and fixed options. All 5 diners were very happy with their chosen options. The service was also excellent, being timely, helpful and non-intrusive.

From the minute we arrived we were looked after very well. Had the early evening two course option - amazing value and delicious food. Friendly polite staff who were attentive but not overbearing. Would highly recommend!
