Great food and service. Booked window table thought for 12.30 arrived 12.22 to be told booking was for 12.15 so table given away. Did have mobile number and could have phoned. Food excellent very pleasant lunch.

Excellent meal as usual - high standards maintained - a little dull in the back but I realise trying to control the temperature st this time of year is important

Lovely Saturday lunch. Various kids' demands and adults' dietary requirements at were dealt with brilliantly by very friendly and professional staff. All the food were very well presented and, much more importantly, delicious. We've eaten at Côte Birmingham, Liverpool and now Edinburgh, and have had consistently lovely experiences.

Very attractive menu, making choices difficult. The dishes (and wine) we chose were excellent, and the service efficient and friendly. The complimentary cocktails were much appreciated. The restaurant was understandably busy, and I suspect that the noise level at some tables might have been a problem, but since we were sitting at a window table we were not affected. Our only gripe was the 'optional' 12.5% gratuity - high for Edinburgh, where the norm is 10%.

Had another lovely lunch at Cote, food and service faultless.

As always the food was good and the service excellent. I have used the restaurants both here and in London and they are always exceptional value for money.

We had the quiet table we requested so that my husband could hear. We enjoyed the special gin and tonic (free) and we're given a complimentary cheese plate since it was his birthday. So, all good, nothing we could fault.

Great time as usual thankyou. Food and service very good. When one of our party asked to sit at a round table at the front she was told 'all those tables are booked'. Well so was ours and we have been told in the past that we cannot reserve a particular table. Just a point but as usual we had a lovely time and will be back next month.

Thank you guys for such a great experience. It was my first time, my in-laws brought me here and I loved it. Friendly service, delicious food and somehow we even got a bottle of wine as a present:) Will definitely come back even though it wasn't easy to find a parking space on Sunday. Excellent service, and good value for money. Most of the food was excellent, although the risotto lacked flavour and needed seasoning added. Impressed though that as one diner wasn’t happy with her risotto she was offered a second choice from the menu, which when declined resulted in a deduction from the final bill. Tip top service.

Delicious food with a wide variety of food on offer. We had a great set 2 course meal here, with generous portions for the money. The staff are very friendly and make it a pleasant visit.

I am amazed that you seems to have a policy to wait a considerable time from the moment you give the customer the bill till your staff even consider to start looking for if the customer is ready to pay. I am fully aware that some customers take their time but that’s why you look to see if they are still looking at the bill or not. Sitting waiting 5-15 min before (not just us but most of the customers when we were there - I checked) is very annoying. Especially if you are ready - like me - to pay the moment you get the bill. Are you training your staff to avoid eye contact? By the way. Change your supplier of lamb. The quality of the meet was quite bad and nothing the cook would have done could have saved it.

We went on a Sunday for a change, it was busy but not too busy. There was a delay with our starters, we weren’t bothered but got them for free. My original choice of meal wasn’t available but I chose something else that I fancied. The food was as usual excellent. The service very good. There were a couple of big tables in but they were through the back and not noisy.

The service we received was excellent - I’d prebooked for a large table for lunch and everything went so smoothly I was so impressed. The food was delicious and there was no rush for us. They were also able to cater to a couple of different dietary requirements which I really appreciated. It was the perfect end to a fantastic weekend in Edinburgh. Thank you again

As usual we enjoyed our food. Staff all very pleasant. Disappointed though that the Lobster and Seabass were unavailable at 7pm. This was the reason for the visit as we do come quite often. Have always thought that when adding service charge to a bill. 10% is enough.

This was our 5th time at Cote in Edinburgh. The food is consistently amazing. They’ve got a great selection of wines and they make a solid negroni. To top it all off, the service is golden. We’ll be back soon!

We always enjoy our meals at Cote. To have a dedicated gluten free menu is a real bonus.

A lovely meal however the Asparagus starter was “gritty” which we complained about and they took it off the bill
