Food was excellent, as per the restaurant. Only negative is staff spent too long chatting, both when waiting for our next course (30 minutes) and trying to pay the bill we waited a good (20 minutes). There was only 10/12 people in at lunchtime. But would still recommend

We love coming to Cote for either lunch or dinner. The food is always excellent, great value for money and the staff both charming and efficient. We will be back!

We had an offer so this was exceedingly good value for money ! Only thing is the tipping process,I’d rather leave a cash tip on the table.

I went there for my birthday lunch and once again had a fantastic meal and excellent service !!

We love Côte and is one of our go to restaurants but we were a little disappointed in our favourite dish which we have not had for a while, Breton Fish Stew. Could not say exactly what was wrong but it lacked flavour and appeared to have a lot of vegetables compared with seafood. Calamari was chewy. Has not put us off and will remain a go to restaurants

Food lovely we went for the more expensive lunch menu which had a varied choice. We all selected different starters and main courses all of which were delicious. The portions were generous and the bottle of wine went down nicely.

Very relaxed, good service and food. Only one slight niggle , two out of the four have hearing problems so we had to ask for the Musack to be turned down. This was done but it would have been better not to have had it at all.

I think k the guinea fowl ballotine was slightly underdone possibly my most unsuccessful choice at Cote to date however it’s not my wife and me off as we continue to enjoy the menu andthe ambience of your Edinburgh base and the staff are always very attentive

We have been to the restaurant on a number of occasions and have always had a very enjoyable meal .The service has always been excellent and helpful.We will continue to go the restaurant on a regular basis.

The food was delicious and very good value, especially with our discount. The service was exemplary.

Lovely 2 course lunch, the Creme brûlée was gorgeous, the staff were very nice attentive. The only downside was because of the wind and people coming and going it was very cold and draughty where we were sitting. The waiter had to keep closing the door

From the brilliant food ,the attentiveness of the staff to the ambiance in the restaurant the whole experience was as usual a superb evening and already looking forward to my return even though after three courses I am pretty full but by next week I will enjoy another brilliant meal

My friends and I enjoyed a lovely 2 course lunch. I had the calamari to start, light but plentiful. The stroganoff was very tasty.

The food was very good. We are regular diners at Glasgow and Islington. Our waitress was delightful and garlic intolerance catered for very well. The only downside was an appalling couple from Morningside behind us who created complaints to drive down their bill. The voices could cut through sheet steel at 50 yards.

The only negative was when the bill came and we realised we had been charged over £13 for 2 glasses of house wine. No advice from the server regards this. Empty glasses were left on the table for too long. Food was excellent and front door latch was poor meaning it kept blowing open in the strong wind making it cold.
