Very good food and service at a reasonable price. As always a varied menu for the set lunch. The complimentary glasses of Kir Royale were much appreciated. Plenty of diners so a convivial atmosphere.

Food was good but the service was only okay. We had to wait too long to get dessert menu and it took a while to pay the bill.

As always, Cote never disappoints. The food is always good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Only problem today was that our pudding order appeared to have been forgotten but once it arrived the crème caramel was more than worth the wait!!!

Excellent evening. Very warm welcome from Martina the Manager, followed by exceptional service from all her staff. We were 7 in number and everyone enjoyed the food, wine and service. There was a small problem with two of the main courses but this was soon rectified by the waiter looking after our table, to the full satisfaction of two of my Guests. Mistakes can happen at any time, but a restaurant should be measured by how it deals with the problem and how swiftly it is rectified. Full marks to Côte Ealing for an immediate and satisfactory solution! Can't wait to return!

This Cote is in a nice, spacious restaurant in Ealing. The tables aren't crammed together and the noise issue seems to be sorted. (I say this because I've been to three other Cotes in London, where you can't hear anything but a roar of noise and everyone is crammed in. The food was perfectly fine. They'll never get a Michelin star but I guess they're not trying for one. There's a good range of dishes and size of meals, so I think most people would find something they like. The food isn't precious or too try hard - just nice stuff. My big complaint is this: the waiting staff patronised us. Yes, we were over 60. Yes, one of us is a bit shaky on her feet. No, we don't need to be patronised. The question "Did the ladies enjoy their starters" felt patronising. If we weren't enjoying them, trust me, we'd have told you and not eaten them. Maybe the staff could learn that the question they asked three men in suits at the next table "Was everything alright?" is applicable to old women too.

Staff was absolutely lovely. It was a very busy Valentine and you could tell that they may have been a bit short of staff, but with that being said, the team really did work together and made sure to check on us even when waiting. would definitely recommend

Good service and relaxing atmosphere in the early evening. The chicken breast was somewhat dry and overcooked unfortunately. Confit duck used to be available as 'plat rapide' but now only as a special which is a pity.

Had a brilliant meal at Cote in Ealing last night. The Valentine special menu was still available so my partner and I went for that. We each had the goat's cheese salad to start, which was presented beautifully and tasted absolutely incredible. Next we had fillet steaks which were cooked perfectly. Both courses came with a glass of wine to complement the food, and they paired very well. To finish we had the chocolate pudding and creme brulee, and I have to say both were flawless. Service was brilliant this time around. I couldn't say a single negative about our experience last night. Will definitely go back and will happily order the same things again if they're available on the regular menu (which I think they are).

Great service and friendly staff. Food was lovely and nice warm atmosphere. Always make a fuss if it's anyone's birthday and encourage everyone to sing happy birthday. Loved the warm fresh bread when we got there and the creme brulee is to die for!! A lovely evening.

Perhaps we came at the busiest time on your busiest day, but the noise from servers getting drinks, coffee machine, glasses collected and hastily clattered down on a counter not 2 metres from our table ... as well as a full house of quite clearly very happy customers ... meant it was impossible to have a conversation, just lip-reading. The food was of excellent quality and was beautifully served. A lady took our order in a very friendly manner. The maitre - a chap who cleared our plates and was clearly under pressure to clear the table - was polite. His bustling efficiency gave me the impression he wanted us out as soon as possible. That is a pity. I should love to come back for a meal with you again, but hope you might advise me when there a less busy moment when conversation is possible. Thanks. All very impressed with the food.

We've visited this, our local Cote, many times often pre-theatre. The service is always friendly and efficient; the food excellent. For a reasonably-priced brasserie experience in West London, it's hard to go wrong here.

We met a friend for Sunday lunch. Cote was busy - the staff were friendly and the food was well cooked and served on hot plates (hate cold food served on cold plates!) - not too expensive and we’ll definitely be going back!

A mixed experience. Waiter was lovely. Food was cold. And we waited ages for it. I mean AGES. To the point that the waiter apologised and brought us complimentary bread. Bill was incorrect at the end of the evening and nobody came to take our payment.

As requested, the manager had allocated our preferred table, which was appreciated. The ambience was nice but there were two tables near by of people who had obviously been at the restaurant for a while and were a little loud, unfortunately, especially as one of the tables appeared not to be ordering anything further. The waiter let my partner try the while wine, which was nice, before we ordered. The onion starter was not up to its usual standards, unfortunately, and my partner did not enjoy it - thicker than normal and with a more peppery taste than normal. He orders it every time we visit. Contrast the reactions of the staff, when the above was mentioned: 1. Manager - "very sorry, thank you for letting me know, can I replace it, will provide feedback...." - and ultimately he took it off the bill. 2. Waiter - "it is supposed to be thick, it is supposed to be peppery", said in a defensive manner and off he went. A little disappointing when compared to the above professional reaction of his manager. My crottin salad was very nice. The main course steaks were good and well cooked. We eat at the restaurant several times a year and the slightly off soup was the worst experience that we have had with a dish for a long time, so the food is really very good and consistent on nearly all occasions. The manager is professional and pleasant. We will return.
