Very good food and service at a reasonable price. As always a varied menu for the set lunch. The complimentary glasses of Kir Royale were much appreciated. Plenty of diners so a convivial atmosphere.
Excellent food , atmosphere and service. We had a great time on a Saturday evening and we will be back soon in the near future.
Food was good but the service was only okay. We had to wait too long to get dessert menu and it took a while to pay the bill.
As always, Cote never disappoints. The food is always good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Only problem today was that our pudding order appeared to have been forgotten but once it arrived the crème caramel was more than worth the wait!!!
A wonderful lunch today. Served by great staff in a convivial atmosphere. Good value for money and great offers such as free wine. We hope Cote continues to thrive.
Elegant setting nice staff great chain value for money Veggie breakfast great but had run out of veggie sausage Could’ve been tiny bit hotter bit luke warm
Great March menu lots of new choices a good meat/ fish balance.Very well cooked and presented excellent value set lunch complimented by great service by all involved .
Excellent evening. Very warm welcome from Martina the Manager, followed by exceptional service from all her staff. We were 7 in number and everyone enjoyed the food, wine and service. There was a small problem with two of the main courses but this was soon rectified by the waiter looking after our table, to the full satisfaction of two of my Guests. Mistakes can happen at any time, but a restaurant should be measured by how it deals with the problem and how swiftly it is rectified. Full marks to Côte Ealing for an immediate and satisfactory solution! Can't wait to return!
Friendly staff. Very nicely prepared, tasty food. Waitress could have been slightly more knowledgeable about the food but maybe she is new. Nice ambience as always.
Lovely helpful staff who made our evening very enjoyable. The food was as usual a very good standard. Cote has a nice relaxing informal atmosphere.
We always experience a wam welcone followed by fantastic service and delicious food. We choose Cote regularly because the service and food are consistently great.
Not been there before booked on reccomendation of a friend very pleased with the evening and food will come again service, staff excellent all good
The Ealing. One is one of the best I have been to. Great food and great experience. The waiting staff are very welcoming and like you to have the best time. Will always recommend this Côte.
This Cote is in a nice, spacious restaurant in Ealing. The tables aren't crammed together and the noise issue seems to be sorted. (I say this because I've been to three other Cotes in London, where you can't hear anything but a roar of noise and everyone is crammed in. The food was perfectly fine. They'll never get a Michelin star but I guess they're not trying for one. There's a good range of dishes and size of meals, so I think most people would find something they like. The food isn't precious or too try hard - just nice stuff. My big complaint is this: the waiting staff patronised us. Yes, we were over 60. Yes, one of us is a bit shaky on her feet. No, we don't need to be patronised. The question "Did the ladies enjoy their starters" felt patronising. If we weren't enjoying them, trust me, we'd have told you and not eaten them. Maybe the staff could learn that the question they asked three men in suits at the next table "Was everything alright?" is applicable to old women too.
Always good quality food and nice staff. Good experience with the children - serving food they'll eat and a good range for the adults aswell.
Excellent food, lovely staff, lovely restaurant. What more can I say? I see I have lots more words which I have to enter, which is rather annoying......
My friend and I had a delightful lunch... the food and service were wonderful. We stayed quite a while but there was no sense of trying to hurry us on our way. Will certainly return. One very happy customer.
Excellent - went there for Valentines Day and the menu was spot on.... the staff were friendly as usual and we were looked after very well. I can't wait to book again at Ealing Cote...
Staff was absolutely lovely. It was a very busy Valentine and you could tell that they may have been a bit short of staff, but with that being said, the team really did work together and made sure to check on us even when waiting. would definitely recommend
Arrived early and had choice of table. Lovely staff and great food as usual. Was visiting with a friend who had never been before and she was very impressed.
The food at all Cote restaurants is always good and the monthly specials are always a nice surprise. Service is friendly and efficient. Can't fault Cote!
Good service and relaxing atmosphere in the early evening. The chicken breast was somewhat dry and overcooked unfortunately. Confit duck used to be available as 'plat rapide' but now only as a special which is a pity.
The monkfish was dry and the artichokes were potatoes... disappointing! The service improved a lot and you should keep the same quality of food at all times
Good food. Fast and efficient service. Friendly staff. Prices averaged. We will consider returning again this time bringing some friends with us. Appears to be well managed. Craig
We are regular visitors here. Excellent staff and great atmosphere
Had a brilliant meal at Cote in Ealing last night. The Valentine special menu was still available so my partner and I went for that. We each had the goat's cheese salad to start, which was presented beautifully and tasted absolutely incredible. Next we had fillet steaks which were cooked perfectly. Both courses came with a glass of wine to complement the food, and they paired very well. To finish we had the chocolate pudding and creme brulee, and I have to say both were flawless. Service was brilliant this time around. I couldn't say a single negative about our experience last night. Will definitely go back and will happily order the same things again if they're available on the regular menu (which I think they are).
A Very enjoyable experience, the food is delicious and the wines both superb and reasonably priced, I would highly recommend the Cote restaurant to anyone
Great service and friendly staff. Food was lovely and nice warm atmosphere. Always make a fuss if it's anyone's birthday and encourage everyone to sing happy birthday. Loved the warm fresh bread when we got there and the creme brulee is to die for!! A lovely evening.
Another very good meal at Cotes in Ealing. Enjoyed a delicious piece of grilled tuna - as part of a tuna Nicoise. Staff very attentive and charming as usual.
Excellent service, food delicious and well presented. Delighted we got the table I had requested. Service very efficient and friendly. Clean and well run restaurant
Excellent food, (though some delay before we got it!). Service good.-you remembered that it was a birthday lunch & produced cake + candle. Overall, a very satisfactory occasion. Thankyou.
Nice selection of food and ambiance. We were left alone to finish our second bottle of wine without being hurried. Good choice of menu - three different menus to choose from.
Perhaps we came at the busiest time on your busiest day, but the noise from servers getting drinks, coffee machine, glasses collected and hastily clattered down on a counter not 2 metres from our table ... as well as a full house of quite clearly very happy customers ... meant it was impossible to have a conversation, just lip-reading. The food was of excellent quality and was beautifully served. A lady took our order in a very friendly manner. The maitre - a chap who cleared our plates and was clearly under pressure to clear the table - was polite. His bustling efficiency gave me the impression he wanted us out as soon as possible. That is a pity. I should love to come back for a meal with you again, but hope you might advise me when there a less busy moment when conversation is possible. Thanks. All very impressed with the food.
enjoyed the lunch in the company of my wife and two friends. All said that the food was excellent and the service was great. Highly recommended
We've visited this, our local Cote, many times often pre-theatre. The service is always friendly and efficient; the food excellent. For a reasonably-priced brasserie experience in West London, it's hard to go wrong here.
Met my request for a particular table; prompt and friendly service; excellent food at a competitive price. I am a long-standing customer and hope to remain so!
The food and the service were good, as usual. We were early so could choose our table next to the window which was a bonus.
Lovely food, really friendly staff, can easily cater for large parties, will definitely recommend and return, The set menu is very good value and the normal menu has an excellent range of choices
We met a friend for Sunday lunch. Cote was busy - the staff were friendly and the food was well cooked and served on hot plates (hate cold food served on cold plates!) - not too expensive and we’ll definitely be going back!
Very busy so service was a bit slow. Have been there a number of times. Staff are friendly. Food was good and enjoyable. Will visit it again.
A mixed experience. Waiter was lovely. Food was cold. And we waited ages for it. I mean AGES. To the point that the waiter apologised and brought us complimentary bread. Bill was incorrect at the end of the evening and nobody came to take our payment.
Enjoyed the always excellent 'steak frites' with - this time - the January reward of a free bottle of wine....always excellent service and great atmosphere, but it is really the 'steak frites' that does for me every time!
Excellent services and wonderful foods. Good value for money as we ordered from the set menu (Mon to Fri 12 to 7pm). It was a very pleasant evening.
Really attentive staff, great food and at the end of the night we didn't get chucked out even though we were the last group left. Will definitely we returning.
We all enjoyed our meals and were delighted with the options that were available. The staff were courteous and professional with our service. We would all recommend the Ealing restaurant.
Service charge is too high for level of service received. Food is a good standard. Pleasant setting and good decor. Location is central and easy to get to.
As requested, the manager had allocated our preferred table, which was appreciated. The ambience was nice but there were two tables near by of people who had obviously been at the restaurant for a while and were a little loud, unfortunately, especially as one of the tables appeared not to be ordering anything further. The waiter let my partner try the while wine, which was nice, before we ordered. The onion starter was not up to its usual standards, unfortunately, and my partner did not enjoy it - thicker than normal and with a more peppery taste than normal. He orders it every time we visit. Contrast the reactions of the staff, when the above was mentioned: 1. Manager - "very sorry, thank you for letting me know, can I replace it, will provide feedback...." - and ultimately he took it off the bill. 2. Waiter - "it is supposed to be thick, it is supposed to be peppery", said in a defensive manner and off he went. A little disappointing when compared to the above professional reaction of his manager. My crottin salad was very nice. The main course steaks were good and well cooked. We eat at the restaurant several times a year and the slightly off soup was the worst experience that we have had with a dish for a long time, so the food is really very good and consistent on nearly all occasions. The manager is professional and pleasant. We will return.
Excellent. This place is excellent. I have to write 25 words okay but there is a really brilliant gregarious Macedonian guy who will recommend all the good stuff. So you’ll want to leave a one word review, like perfect!
Great atmosphere - great food - excellent service- fair price. nothing more to say.would recommend this restaurant to anybody who enjoys a quality product(no junk served)
Great staff interaction. The food (salads and mussels) was lovely and just right for a light lunch. The service was efficent and friendly. We had a very nice lunch.
