Côte Dorking

Everything perfect. Lovely service. We spent about 2 hours there for three courses. It was very busy as of Mothering Sunday but we were still served well.

Food was lovely and just what we ordered. The service we received on such a busy day was excellent. It’s our favourite restaurant in Dorking

Great food, friendly staff, managing smile or two even though they were crazy busy on mother’s day. The breakfast is really good as well, highly recommended

Mother's Day champagne brunch. Excellent value and standard of food as usual. Only let down slightly by server who seemed to be having an off day. Otherwise would have been max score.

We stood at the door waiting to be seated whilst 3 staff walked by. Eventually one spoke to us but said he couldn’t help as it wasn’t his job. Maybe just say “hello. It won’t be a moment.” We then we’re taken to a table that wasn’t set and dirty. There was a clean gable next to it but we couldn’t go there without the managers permission. Why? After managers permission was granted we were allowed to sit. We were then sat waiting without menus until a waitress asked what we wanted to eat. I suggested menus first may be helpful. She looked embarrassed and walked away. I would normally say anything but it’s like this every time I go to a cote. Why?

Delicious food and lovely food as usual. Says it all really and no need to use minimum of twenty five words. We will be back

Excellent service, food was great apart from the duck, it was dry and appeared as if it had been precooked five days ago and then quickly put into the oven when we ordered it and kept kn there too long. The rest was good.

Always a pleasant atmosphere, attentive staff and tasty food. The restaurant is always willing to cater for dietary needs and will happily accommodate requests for changes to dishes where they can.

Great ambience and friendly, polite staff but, best of all, truly delicious food! This is one of my favourite chains and the Dorking restaurant is terrific to visit for lunch or dinner.

The food was good, and good value. As usual, the service was very friendly, but the restaurant was busy and service for us was slow.

As usual, I have a brilliant lunch in Cote Dorking. Today, I had the fish soup, which was on the specials list - excellent it was too.

Excellent Menu choice, with excellent service and good value for money. Restaurant is friendly and has a very nice ambience. Good location with adequate car parking nearby.

Good meal in the March set menu. Next time I am having a glass of sweet wine with my pate - it is good enough to justify the extra cost!

Great fish soup - special of the month. Quick service, and friendly / efficient waiting staff. Convenient location too - right in the centre of Dorking.

Having booked online and mentioned that it was my wife's special birthday we were greeted on arrival with complimentary glasses of champagne, which was a delightful and unexpected touch. Service was very attentive and the food excellent. We will definitely return.

Perfect staff, as always. Food was excellent. Warm atmosphere and friendly feeling. The prawn gratinee starter is out of this world. We will be back soon!

Hadn't been to Dorking Cote before but very good food as always and great service. Friendly staff. Will go there again. Need one in Epsom!

Great selection of food and wine. Good ambience and attentive staff. Set menu is very good value. Would highly recommend a visit. Think the house red could be improved on.

Fantastic welcome, wonderful food, and superb service from Katarina , Alex and the whole team at COTE Dorking. Delicious starters, tasty soup and sourdough,egg benedict faultless, and Poulet grille delicious

Service brilliant as usual. We had a guest with severe diabetes and we got great service as usual!

It was an ok meal, although my steak could have been a little tastier! The waiter we had did not seem to have any rapport with us. The dessert was delicious though!

Wow! Special visit last night. Customer service at its best. Another great evening at Cote Dorking - Fabulous food, great wine and an extra special warm welcome. The staff always go the extra mile and make us feel special and this time there was an exceptional greeting which we truly appreciated. Would we go anywhere else? No way! This is our local restaurant of choice and with the friendliness of the staff it will continue to be so.

Good meal with excellent service. We were group of friends who have not seen each other for years it was lovely to get together in a relaxed restaurant where you were allowed to chat and enjoy the meal.

Service was excellent. Staff very attentive. My only complaint was my fries were not very warm. We had my grandson with us who is 3 and the staff were great with him. Highly recommend Cote Dorking

Always excellent service and food . Will book again and again as the restaurant is local and one of my faves. Always great for a group event.

Excellent meal from the set lunch menu. 3 of us had chicken, steak and venison which were all delicious. Chocolate mousse was superb and chocolate pot well received by my companions. Very efficient service. Highly recommended.

Very good service lovely atmosphere and great food. Will be back. The seating is good and we have never yet had a bad experience in Cote.

A Lovely meal with very courteous staff. Although we ate on a Monday evening there were still plenty of other guests so a good atmosphere with tables well placed

Excellent service and lovely food. We chose from the very good value lunchtime menu, mackerel rillettes and camembert pissaladiere starters, then grilled chicken and pan roast haddock mains -ate every last scrap it was so delicious.

No complaints about this brasserie - good food and wine list, excellent service and pleasant ambience. Beware the "light bites" menu however - the portions are substantial!

Lovely and very accommodating restaurant. London lovely food and good service. Detailed menus identifying food allergies very useful and thoughtful just to say the dairy free notes would be useful on the gluten free menu.

Very nice. We had a lively evening here for our 5 year anniversary. Food was very good. I had the pork belly which was exceptional!

Warm welcome upon arrival was followed up by excellent service and nice ambiance. Good a la carts menu choice and everything well presented. Highly recommended.

The New Years Eve menu was good, with a number of new dishes added. The restaurant service was good and you are always made welcome. We will definitely be going back, particularly as my wife has to eat gluten free and Cote offer the best GF menu in the area.

Really enjoyed our lunch and thought it was top notch. The service was of a high standard and carried out with courtesy. Courses were well timed without having to wait overlong or being rushed. The food was delicious. Thankyou. We'll come again soon.

Great atmosphere, good food and wine, super staff. Couldn't be better. It's hard to believe that one is not in France and that it's, in fact, one of a chain of restaurants.

The food was great, the staff were very polite, but the food was a bit slow to arrive however it was lunchtime and very busy

I would highly recommend the Dorking branch of Cote. The room is a good size with comfortable seating, the service is good and, best of all, the food is excellent. I am a Coeliac and have difficulty in finding restaurants I can trust to give me gluten-free food, but Cote has a dedicated gluten-free menu with loads of choice, and every dish arrives with a little flag on the plate confirming that the food is gluten-free. This takes me back there time after time.

Friendly, efficient service and delicious food, cooked to order, at reasonable prices in pleasant surroundings made for a very enjoyable experience. We have been before and will certainly go again.

Staff were grumpy & unwelcoming. Great food though. Would go again for the food and restaurant interior but think they need to get some happier staff.

Delicious breakfast with excellent service - vegetarian breakfast was yummy and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Good coffee too! Happy to recommend 😊
