Amazing as always! Food, service and atmosphere top notch! Well done

Just popped in for a quick bite to eat as didn't feel like cooking we had a very nice delicious dinner good service in a very relaxed atmoshere

The staff were friendly and welcoming..and efficient.....the food was delicious and really good value for money...the the atmosphere was quite cheery ..though the music was a little louder than usual...so a little difficult to have a conversation...but apart from that a lovely lunch

Unfortunately, for early afternoon, the service was very poor considering that there were few customers. The waiting staff seemed to be focusing on a shift change, and totally ignored us. This is most unusual when compared with early evening sittings which we have enjoyed on other occasions - the lady manager is in attendance to manage the staff, and service is infinitely better

A nice way to start a long weekend with brunch at Cote - the food and service as always didn’t disappoint

The staff were kind and attentive. The food was lovely. We'll be going back again. We only saw two of our friends there tonight, often it's an entire party.

Always loved this restaurant till today and will never go back again Dreadful manageress aggressive and rude. I took two friends who found her quite objectionable taking the French attitude too far I have a flat in France and have had for 46 years so am quite used too the brusque attitude sometimes used by French restaurant staff but this was beyond belief

Have been to various Cote restaurants for lunch and dinner but never for breakfast. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had, the food was very fresh and a good choice. Will be going back.

Another good meal. Got a table without any problem and it was a busy Saturday night. Staff super friendly as always. Cheeseboard also surprisingly good.

We were surprised how busy Cote in Dorking was, but despite this, we received our usual warm welcome. The food is always reliably good and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Good atmosphere , good food, attentive staff. Much the best ‘ chain’ restaurant. Like the monthly specials and changes to the menu so there is always something new to enjoy ,that’s if I can resist my favourites.

The usual very good food. The Walnut and Endive salad was very good and a light starter . The pork loin was very tender and tasty.

As always very good service, excellent food and perfect for a Sunday morning 'catch up' over brunch with a friend. Always look forward to going back and staff always so welcoming and efficient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our latest visit to Cote in Dorking. The food was, as ever, excellent and the wine was as good as always. The best thing about our visit were the staff, who always welcome us and go out of their way to ensure that we have an enjoyable evening.

Four of us had lunch using the cheap lunch and early evening deal. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambience. Service was very good. We will be back.

Cote in Dorking was very quiet, so the staff were able to stop and chat to us while we waited for our meal. The food was its usual reliable quality and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening.

The atmosphere at Cote in Dorking on New Years Eve, which was packed, was, hardly surprisingly, electric. The guests and staff all participated in making this a thoroughly enjoyable evening, with excellent food from their special menu.

We had dinner at Cotes Brasserie in Dorking. It’s a lovely restaurant with great service and excellent food. We ate from the set menuu which is good value for money and offers a good selection of starters and mains. I had french onion soup to start and pork belly for my main and both were excellent. The pork belly was tasty with a lovely crisp skin...delicious. Highly recommended

The restaurant is a favourite for us, particularly for a party of 6 to 8 guests. The food we received on this occasion was good as always. However a staff miscommunication or mistake by the kitchen left one of our group temporarily without a main course (this is the second time this has happened here) but it was quickly rectified and did not spoil the dinner. The factor leading to a moderate rating stems from the billing process; a main dish we did not order was present on the bill with the six other mains we did order; a credit termed “Goodwill” cancelled out the additional cost; however, it was not a reduction in the price as “Goodwill” implies and it left me feeling that the restaurant considered we had ordered the extra dish but forgave us our mistake. Consequently I subtracted the same amount from the optional 12.5% service charge which still left a reasonable tip for our waiter who had performed a very good job looking after our table. Front of house take note.

My soup starter was boiled and was very bland. Great main course steak and chips. Desserts were ok, although the apple crumble was not warm enough with the ice cream. Could have taken a little more care overall with the microwave heating!

Good food with wide choice of well cooked dishes. Comfortable seating and pleasant atmosphere. Easy parking near by. Prices compare well with other restaurants in the area

We arrived at 8pm for our precooked table and the restaurant was very busy. We were sat beside an empty table for 8 which was fine until it filled up with two couples and their very young tired children. Bleeting and tired cries do not make for a restful eating experience, although it’s not the children’s fault. The food was brought reasonably swiftly despite being warned it might be delayed. Onion soup was very good as always and the steak and frites were passable. The frites were over hard but the steak was well cooked. The waiters seemed harassed and overbusy, and the whole experience was opposite to our last meal here which had been excellent. Rather disappointing.

We chose Cote in Dorking for my birthday lunch with my parents and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff as welcoming as always.

Would highly recommend Cote Dorking for breakfast. Food was great and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service. Will definitely bring going back.

Excellent service, food and value for money. I have eaten breakfast here on many occasions and it never disappoints. The full English breakfast is just fantastic!

Excellent meal and service - lovely new non-alcohol cocktail "Seedlip" - really enjoyable evening. Desserts could do with updating a bit- nothing to enthuse there. Hake main course was lovely.

A tasty breakfast as usual but a little annoyed at the change in amount of food you get for your money, especially as the breakfast deal price has gone up. Lovely, friendly staff as ever and beautiful venue.

Another great evening at Cote in Dorking - the food was great as usual and we all had a terrific time - the service is always exceptional - will be back for sure!

Unfortunately they forgot our main course. It arrived after 30 minutes & we had to remind the staff. They were apologetic & gave us a free glass of wine which was very thoughtful. However the food was lukewarm.

Always excellent food and service-perfectly cooked medium rare steak and the lamb shank was amazing! Love the changing seasonal menus and always such professional staff!

What a great place to have a New Years Eve meal! As regular visitors to Cote in Dorking, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The New Year menu was great and between us we managed most of the choices, all of which were excellent. The atmosphere was good too, not too noisy but with a vibrant feel. As always the staff were a very important part of the experience and made our evening extra special.

Very pleasant evening with excellent food and very attentive staff despite it being a very busy New Years Eve. Different set menu for the occasion and as good as ever with great variety.

A last minute decision to have breakfast out but glad we did. A delicious meal with the ever friendly staff - looking forward to having my birthday lunch there tomorrow.

Very good quality of food offered although it was very busy the food took longer than usual to arrive but was well worth the wait!

Another lovely breakfast on 23 December. Good food and welcoming staff as always. Dorking Cote is one of the nicest restaurants, we have never been disappointed.

It is always a pleasure to visit cote of Dorking. I am welcomed by name and served quickly. The food is top quality, cooked correctly and hot.

I'm a great fan of Cote and the Dorking branch especially. Had lunch on Thursday. Restaurant obviously busy in run-up to Christmas, but all working well. Had a slight niggle about the Coq au Vin which I reported at the time. Apart from that, all good.

A great end to a Christmas outing with my parents - the food was delicious and the restaurant looked very Christmassy and the staff were very welcoming.
