Lovely food in a serene environment. Good menu choices to appeal to a wide range. Good staff who are welcoming and attentive. Will use for social get togethers again.

Nice decor and friendly staff. The food was very good and the quality of wine on offer was also good. Service was a little slow for initial drinks and dessert but aside from that service was very good. A very nice evening spent with friends was helped by nice surroundings good food and polite and intelligent staff. I have visited other establishments in the chain and would certainly have no problem recommending this one in Dorking. Well done

Efficient, helpful and welcoming staff. There was a good choice of food on the set menu and we were very satisfied with what we had.

A Thursday evening meal. The food was delicious, service very pleasant and friendly, and a thoroughly pleasant experience. I would definitely return again at any evening.

As usual, the food and service was excellent. However, there was a large party of exuberant ladies next to us which meant that conversation was impossible which rather spoiled the evening!

All staff were lovely as always and the food was just delicious, we really enjoyed out starters and the steaks were cooked to perfection, thanks very much.

We were made very welcome. The food was served quickly and was perfectly cooked, and the free offer a Kir Royale to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dorking Cote was much appreciated.

First waiter we had made us feel very rushed and didn't speak clearly for a loud restaurant. Although the second waitress we had was lovely, made us feel very comfortable. Food was lovely, thanks :)

We had an excellent set 3 course meal. The service was excellent. Food quick to arrive and was very tasty and well presented. Lovely atmosphere.

Wonderful breakfast, however cannnot see how I can book for a birthday kir royal treat and it's too early too drink. Very disappointing. Think this is a Problem??

Really good evening on their 10th anniversary. Welcoming staff and a really good menu with complementary champagne. Price for the evening was very reasonable. A very enjoyable evening with our friends

Had a very pleasant lunch on 11 June at Cote Brasserie in Dorking. Not too busy but with enough people there to make it social. Food excellent and staff friendly.

The food was excellent as were the staff. The furnishing is a bit sparse and the restaurant could benefit from a more atmospheric design approach.

Lovely meal -friendly, thoughtful staff. Always a pleasure going to Cote in Dorking. Only niggle was that although the prawns , mussels and squid in my fish stew were deliciously fresh, the fish (was it haddock?) was a bit dry and not as fresh as I would have liked.

Very good service. Great food and wine. Not pestered to order and did not feel rushed when out talking and catching up with friends. Would recommend.

Cote has achieved that most difficult of personas to establish in the catering business. Reliability. How many times does one visit a restaurant chain and find ''things have slipped''. So much nicer to arrive relaxed in the knowledge that the next two hours are going to be just right. Keep it up.

Really good evening out with friends. Good food and wine and a convivial atmosphere. Staff attentive but not intrusive. Good to visit especially in a group.

Cote Brasserie at Dorking was for me as enjoyable as the last few times I have visited this restaurant . The food and attention we received could not be faulted.

out of 3 meals 2 were overcooked - the chicken was dry and seemed like it had been kept warm - we were told the steak would be pink but was not the case. we did eat it all though - luckily the third meal was a salad - which was delcious. sometimes complaining isn't worth the effort when the staff are friendly

A superb restaurant in every way. Wonderfully polite and courteous service at all times. Glorious food and a lovely ambience. Recommended without reservation. Another lovely evening.

Had a great Father's Day breakfast with the family. The service at Cotes in Dorking was first class and the food was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent service. They overheard that it was my guest's birthday and so gave us all a glass of rosè bubbly on the house and a free desert for the birthday girl - a nice gesture.

Lovely restaurant and friendly professional staff, comfortable surrounding. Starters were delicious, very well presented. Unfortunately on this occasion the rib eye steak and to a lesser extent the fillet, were not up to the usual quality. So much so my husband abandoned his ribeye mid way through as he lost the will to chew! We will visit again as we really like both this Cotes and the one in Reigate, and will treat this as hopefully a one off slippage from the usual high quality.

very warm welcome, superb food, and excellent service. Extensive menu, with choices for all appetites, and pockets.Accurate description of dishes, with appropriate guides for allergies/vegetarian/vegan and gluten free. Breakfast lunch or dinner are all good!

We had the early supper deal. The place was packed which created a good atmosphere. We feel this restaurant is ideal for our needs and it is good value . The food is superior to a lot of the local pubs . My asparagus soup just didn't taste of asparagus although you could see it was freshly made.

All was good but my steak over cooked and tough 😕 Service always efficient and friendly, did not complain because in a party, good atmosphere.

The service was excellent and the food delicious. The waiting time was minimal. The environment is first class. The waiters and the maitre'd are all helpful, It is utterly ridiculous that you can't say what you want to in less than 25 word. Change the website - please

Excellent menu with a wide choice. Something to suit everyone. A little noisy due to wooden floor. Happy service from the staff with good humour and a smile.

Another good meal at Dorking Côte with great perfectly cooked sirloin steaks and Sancerre wine a real bonus . Service was a bit slower and slightly less friendly than usual which was a shame as had brought new friends with us to show this branch off !! Will be back soon however ... maybe not on a Monday

Lovely food and polite staff, rand to say was running late and staff happy to accommodate changes. Will come and visit again soon with friends and family

We booked for 1245pm ...as we wanted a brunch..as it was my Birthdaywe booked online for 1245 for brunch... ...but when we arrived... we were told at 1240.... ...that the breakfast menu was no longer available...(and we couldn't get a free kir Royale) ..we said that that was not a problem}..we didnt want one ...!! But they insisted that we couldn't order from the breakfast menu ..even though ... it said both on your website and on the menu... they gave us ...that breakfast was available until 1300 on Sundays...and on my ...Happy Birthday email...that breakfast... on Sunday was available also ...until 1300hrs...our lunch was very nice...but we didn't want the free Kir Royale ..we just wanted Brunch ...but were unable to have it 20 minutes before it should end...regards Imelda Fisher

We were charged for a bottle of wine instead of a glass but did not realise until we arrived home, telephoned the restaurant and it was rectified immediately . Good food friendly staff.

A good lively atmosphere on a warm summer evening made for an enjoyable experience. Food as always very good and served by friendly polite staff.

Great restaurant. Good service, pleasant atmosphere, good value set menu. Would certainly recommend to other people. Go for the new summer set menu which is from 12-7pm.

We had a lovely lunch with friends. The food and the service was as always good. We do intend to meet up regularly at cote in Dorking from now on.

The food is always delicious and there is a fab selection to choose from. The staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. You are always guaranteed a great meal at great prices!

Greeted promptly and shown to our table quickly.Food,as always,very good however it took much longer than usual to arrive, The manager very kindly, made an adjustment to our bill to reflect this without us saying anything. Very impressed

Though the restaurant was busy on a Saturday evening, our party were waited on in a timely manner. We were busy catching up and the staff left us in peace. The service was excellent. The food was lovely.

Hello it was very excellent and pleasant service as always. I requested extra sauce and it was brought very quickly.We enjoyed our Sunday lunch. We do appreciate good French cooking.

Food was amazing, my husband said his pork belly was cooked to a T. My Breton fish stew was delicious. Great service and would recommend.
