As usual, good service, good menu with wide variety of choice and price, food excellent with good presentation. You never walk out of the door at Cote's resenting what you have paid. You come out with a feeling of satisfaction and well being. What could be better than that!
Great service and food! Couldn’t of been happier for our anniversary! You get a lot more than expected here. Thank you gentlepeople of the Cote Brasserie in Dorking! You all are exemplary!
the original waiter we had was completely uninterested and had no product knowledge it would appear! he was completely preoccupied talking to staff sitting at a table and proved all very hard work! , we had a lady waiter at the end of the meal and she was very good. the restaurant was very quiet as it was early.
Excellent service good food and nice atmosphere. Dined with some friends and we opted for the set menu and had a bottle of wine. All excellent will certainly be popping into. Dorking Cote or another Cote.
As I always say, Cote never disappoints. This was our second visit to Dorking Cote. Staff very welcoming and attentive. All courses were delicious. Can’t fault it. Looking forward to the next visit.
We arrived late prior to calling them. Service was excellent staff are brilliant.. It was a beautiful meal before our night at a ballet. Highly recommend and we will be going back more regularly.
Great staff, great food. Will be back. Just spent two fortnight stays in France and I must say the Cote creme caramel outshone any versions we tried in Normandy!
The staff were friendly enough , but the food was of a very low standard the garlic bread was quite dry and could have done with having more flavour . It was debatable whether our sirloin steak was sirloin, due to the shape and the amount of gristle. We did get refunded for two of the steaks although the other gentleman with us couldn’t eat his T-bone as it was also very hard to eat I’m afraid I probably wouldn’t return, which is a shame as I go to the one in Chichester all the time and have always enjoyed it.
The food was ideal in quantity and beautifully cooked and served. The 3 courses on the set menu balanced well and this menu proved very good value. Staff were pleasant and didn't rush us with our meal.
As always a nice experience and a pleasant way to spend Sunday morning
Côte is very predictable and food is Good quality although on this occasion it seemed it had stayed under the hot plate a little too long. The staff are very pleasant but it felt a bit rushed and we wondered if hey had a party to go to.
Delicious brunch at this very friendly restaurant....lots of choice on the menu at such good prices.eggs royale were perfect. Excellent service.. I would recommend this restaurant highly
Great atmosphere in a warm and friendly restaurant. Two course standard restaurant meal was spot on and served by a very helpful and knowledgeable waitress.
GREAT FOOD, IMPECCABLE SERVICE! Enjoyed a 2 course lunch from the special set menu - varied choice. Starter and main good sized portions, well cooked, good presentation. Staff were excellent - friendly, courteous, good pace. Resturant had a lovely ambience - would highly recommend.
Great night good food with fab service. Menu choice was good with nice atmosphere. Pricey when compared to competition. Difficult to fit nd with SatNav as it takes you to the church and you have to turn around. Follow Nav and park in spots before church and walk though the church grounds to back of small shopping centre. Very pretty right now with Christmas lights
good service and food but 6.30pm on a sunday evening the resturant was almost empty. We enjoyed our free bottle of wine. Access to the men's toilet is up some very steep and awkward steps.
We have always enjoyed dining at Cote however this time wasn't quite as good. The lighting was poor and it was difficult to read the menu. Our waiter I know was new however passed hot food across people. We asked for both doors to be closed as there was a draft, in the end we closed them ourselves. The onion soup was cold. We dine regularly at Cote and this is the first time we have had an experience like this and it won't put us off trying again in the future.
Excellent service and ambiance. The Formule represents excellent value. The order was taken straight away and the food arrived quickly. Cote is consistently good at delivering an enjoyable dining experience.
Lovely friendly and attentive staff .....Lovely Food ..which was hot and well presented .....and very good value for money..Service was excellent ....eventhough it was very busy..at the time we were there.
Just too expensive. £13.50 for the Cod November special and it didn't even come with chips bread. And £3.80 for a 275ml bottle of Kronenburg is ridiculous.
Great early morning venue superb sausages in the sausage baguette and mimosa juice. Good and friendly service, good venue, handy for the high street shops.
Well organised restaurant with very helpful and pleasant staff and prompt service. Good choice of food on the set menu which is always excellent value.
I had the cassoulet. It was delicious. Staff were polite. The ambience was good. I believe Cote is one of the better chain restaurants. I have not had a bad experience.
Tasty food . Dissapppinted the 'offer' of free bottle of wine was only valid with the a la carte menu so did not apply to us. Very slow to get the bill when we needed to leave.
Great food and a great team delivering many thanks Phil
Always a great meal and atmosphere. Lovely staff and great good. Having been coming here for a couple of years and get greeted like old friends. Highly recommended.
Another amazing experience. Fantastic food, great service. This place never fails to make us happy.
A lovely birthday meal with my family. The initial query over the Kir Royales for my guests was quickly sorted by the manager. Cote Dorking is our favorite local restaurant .
Excellent food and wine, very good and attentive service. Unusually just had to wait a bit to pay the bill at the end due a large table all paying individually!! Altogether a very pleasant meal. Would definitely go back.
Food excellent & service really good with very friendly My greatgrandson 16 years old who is quite fussy about his food thoroughly enjoyed his three courses
Very good service, nice surroundings. Really enjoyed the food which represents excellent value for money and a very varied menu. Our favourite 'chain' restaurant .
A bit hit and miss, sometimes it’s perfect sometimes not! When it’s busy it shows in the quality of service and the food, yesterday avocado totally under ripe and hard, extra toast presented as whole slices when it’s usually cut in half. When asked why Cote put jars of jam on the table (not to be used) was met with huff and he walked away!
Food was excellent. Service slow and disjointed, staff disappeared then didn't return for long periods. Even when we asked for the bill we had to ask twice and then had to go to the till to collect change where the staff were just talking.
Lovely meal great service. Friendly staff atmosphere was great to. Cherries were very alcoholic on the duck.. however in all we had a lovely meal.
Very relaxed atmosphere Clean restaurant lovely food for any time of day Best flat white I have had in a chain restaurant for a long time! Service efficient and smiley
Fantastic food and staff, we try and go at least once a month whether lunch or dinner and never disappoints. Would highly recommend a visit.
The food was good but not outstanding. Service was reasonably good. Overall value for money good. If you want a reasonable meal At a reasonable price Cote Brasserie Can you open one in Croydon please
Service and food excellent. However I don't like the fact that they automatically add 12.5% service charge. I like to choose to do this myself and the amount I want to give. It makes it very awkward of you want to change it.
Pleasant restaurant. Good service. Unfortunately there was no sea bass available and it would have been nice to have been told this before making our menu selection.
Very poor service. 3 hours for 2 course lunch. Not busy, so disappointing as we usually enjoy excellent experience in Dorking. Just a bad day?
Second visit to this venue. Definitely the best next to Wimbledon branch. Warmly received by the welcoming staff. Well cooked food and attentive service throughout. Don’t like the 15% service charge added albeit optional. It’s too much.
The food is excellent with a nice variety of selections on the inexpensive lunch menu. The food is served beautifully and the service is very friendly.
The prawns au gratin was returned because it was not very hot. The description should mean with cheese on top, it was nothing like this, just prawns in a tomato sauce. Very disappointing.
We have been going to This restaurant for many years. The food is always good & the service good. Today was no exception. Be back soon.
The service was good. Being a Monday evening the restaurant wasn't busy so we were well looked after. The food was well presented and enjoyable plus we had a free bottle of wine!
We are never disappointed when we visit Cote in Dorking. Warm welcome, super food and very reasonable cost when choosing from the early evening menu. Had my usual starter of tuna rilletes with sourdough toast which I love and then had the Sea bream with ratatouille - delicious. Can't wait to go again!
Another great visit to Cote in Dorking. We all ordered from the early evening menu and so benefited from the great price for three courses. Fabulous food, really friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. All adds up to a great evening out!
We are regular visitors and can highly recommend both the food and the staff. First class experience again and look forward to going back again in the next few weeks.
Overall a good experience, food consistanly good, tables are inclined to get over loaded with dishes and can be a bit crammed, especially the round tables that are meant to site 4.
Nice location and restaurant. Good service and friendly staff. Food great (as always fromCote) - apart from some strange stale toasted bread on the Boeuf Bourguignon, which rather puzzled those of our party that chose that dish. Overall, a lovely late lunch experience.
