Côte Dorking

There was a good choice on the set menu, and it was very good value for money. Staff were efficient and service very good. Very pleasant lunch.

We have not visited here for a few months but found the standards as high as ever . Nice welcome from the manager and the waiter who remembered us as regular customers . Service and food very good as usual on a busy Friday lunchtime . This is certainly the best Cote restaurant we know and we shall be back sooner than later !

I met an old friend for lunch as it was a convenient half-way venue. Easy parking nearby. Booked a table on line and had a very enjoyable meal ( set 2 or 3 courses) of excellent quality and service. Will recommend to friends as very reasonably priced with first rate food and staff. Thank you. Gail valmas

A busy Friday lunch time but Cote Dorking still manage to provide efficient service with a smile, hot food within a reasonable waiting time. Always our first choice when dining in Dorking.

I have been here a few times. The food is outstanding and the staff very attentive and great service. Will no doubt be returning soon already been twice this week!

It was very busy but not too noisy as tables are not too close together. the food and service was excellent as usual. We will be back.

Classics done well e.g. steak frites. Perfect service: courteous, and attentive but not intrusive. Nice space: clean, spacious, tasteful decor, and warm lighting. Wasn't keen on the music. Not sure it's needed.

Met friends for a meal prior to going to the cinema and enjoyed a complimentary Kir Royale offered through our Dorking Halls tickets. The set menu offered a good choice for all 3 courses and we were very satisfied with our meal.

Very good, nice friendly waitress and good service-thank you. Food was excellent and good value for money. Looking forward to going again for dinner sometime soon.

Very good meal with excellent gluten free choices (I am a coeliac). Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Always confident to have a delicious meal, with good value for money.

Always happy to eat at Cote Brasserie - the food never ever disappoints - and the constantly changing early evening menu is tasty and excellent value. Happy to recommend any branch of Cote.

I received a warm welcome by name, and shown to my favourite table. The food as usual was excellent with out any waiting time between the courses.

Afraid my friend and I had the fish parmentier which was cold in the middle. Waitress did offer to take back to reheat but I was hungry and carried on. I usually like my food in the cote so was disappointed this time.

Delicious Tuna Nicoise and my guest enjoyed well cooked fish. Very good service, though a bit slow, but we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, thank you.

As always a very good meal. Specials menu had lamb which was excellent. Only issue was that they had run out of new potatoes which was disappointing

Once again, Great time had for breakfast. Couldn’t fault the food and the service was excellent. The restaurant itself is always clean and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommend Côte.

Great service, food and value. Cote always delivers. The weekend menu and the specials add good variation to the week. Perfect for a casual lunch or something more formal.

Great interior on a dull grey day with delicious food, good wine and friendly service. All in all a lovely evening. The quality remains constant.

Another memorable evening spent at Cote. This was a birthday celebration and we were pleased to be able to take advantage of the free bottle of wine promotion for January ! The food, as always, did not disappoint and the service was excellent. We hope to revisit soon !

Have eaten there several times but last night topped them all. We thought the chef must have changed as all the dishes were prepared to an excellent level, just lifting them just that bit more. We always find the staff very helpful and attentive.

Excellent friendly service. Food as always delicious and well presented. Good value for money. This is Particularly true with the complimentary bottle of Chardonnay. Always consistently good no matter which location I visit.

Food - portions smaller. Noticeably so. Food fairly hot, not piping hot. Sense of cutting back on size of meals, to cover increasing costs. Okay, but not as good as it used to be.

Always great service. It is our go to restaurant if we want good food, great service and a nice atmosphere. We shall be going back again

We had a great meal, the staff were attentive as always even though the restaurant was busy. We will definitely be going back in the near future.

It was our first visit to the Dorking Cote and my husband and I enjoyed it very much, as did our two friends who joined us. The ambience was good and the food and service were excellent. We look forward to future visits!

Really like this Cote restaurant. The staff are always excellent - well trained, polite, efficient and charming. As we are doing a meat free January a number of the excellent meat dishes were not an option for us but they do have a good selection of fish and vegetarian dishes which were all good. Did miss having the lovely minute steak though! The table we were allocated this time was not one of my favourites - round table in the middle of the room, never anyone's first choice I think, always better to be sitting at the side. Good value for money though and always consistent.

Excellent as always, lovely friendly and efficient staff, breakfast hot and delicious. Relaxed and very clean restaurant.. Am going back next week. Great value for money.

Excellent meal pre-live view of Follies at Dorking Halls after, so we had to eat early. Good atmosphere. Comfortable seats where I had requested. Not my first visit and definitely not my last.

Good quality food. Arrive before 7.00pm for the set menu advantage. Excellent service, not too quick and not too long. Not rushed. Nice atmosphere and good value. Third visit.

As usual service and food were of a high standard and we had an enjoyable evening in pleasant surroundings. Restaurant is always clean and well maintained.

The food was very good and the wines also. There was a problem with the bill and they failed to handle the situation adequately which made a 5/6 into a 3.

Pretty good but not as nice as Horsham. Wine good value for money. However, the desert crape was disappointing. Overall an enjoyable afternoon. Will try Reigate next if Horsham is not reopened soon.

This is our third visit to Cote Brassierie in Dorking over the past few months and each time service and food has been excellent and we will go again soon.

Free Kia Royal from our cinema tickets was a great start to our meal. Everything was served quickly, with a smile and our food was as delicious as usual - thank you.

excellent value for money and good quality of food. Slightly miffed that my cinema (tickets for 4 people) voucher for complimentry Kir Royale at Cote was misleading and the waiter would only give our table (of 4) one glass of Kir Royale. Very embarassing and not a good start to a convivial dinner.

We had a warm welcome today, we were settled with drinks and our order came in good time, it was very tasty., as was our dessert. A comfortable and unhurried meal.

Excellent food, excellent service as usual. Always our 'go to' destination when we need a meal out or returning from a long journey as today.

Great staff! And lovely food, as always. The staff also obviously had regular customers come in and were greeted with big hugs and chats about their holidays which I found to be a lovely touch to welcome regular guests. The breakfast is always great, and with the price that comes with it, there's nowhere I'd rather go for a nice breakfast!

Cold poached eggs, no water until we asked for it three times, we also had to ask for the toast twice. Otherwise everything else was fine.

First time at Cote Dorking and we weren't disappointed in any way. Really attentive (but not overly so) service, the food was absolutely divine, can't recommend enough!
