Côte Dorking

We are regular diners at Cote in Dorking and always receive a great welcome from the team there. The food was, as usual, excellent and we enjoyed a bottle of both their "house" white and "house" red wine, both of which were delicious. We have already booked for our next visit.

As regular visitors to Cote in Dorking, as usual, we received a warm "welcome back". We were highly impressed with the food, which we all thoroughly enjoyed, and the wine was also very tasty - we went for the cheap option which was delicious. The staff at Cote in Dorking always seem to do that extra bit to make their customers feel well looked after, not just us as regulars, but every table.

Beautiful evening with gorgeous food, drink and a complimentary rhubarb martini thrown in as part of their May A la Carte deal.

Lovely cooked breakfast in pleasant surroundings. Nicely presented and excellent value.

It's a great restaurant with lovely staff but I'm afraid Dorking is quiet place.....

Lovely place right in the town centre with ample parking just behind and 2 minutes walk. We had a lovely meal from the inclusive menu and a bottle of the house white which was most enjoyable.

I have just filled in the feedback form mentioning that perhaps the staff could do with a little bit more training on being more welcoming and pleasant to customers. this is well known that the Dorking one suffers a bit from that problem where as Guildford and Cobham are fine

Although the restaurant was busy the food and service was spot on. Thoroughly recommend Cote!

I have had breakfast here many times and it never fails to delight me. The food is excellent, the atmosphere friendly and the service is efficient. As I have said before, there is no better way to start a Sunday than to have breakfast in this fantastic restaurant. I will be booking again soon.

Had a really nice evening and the food was really tasty! Great service except for one waiter who was very rushed and spilled my drink (I don't think he realised he did it). But great evening over all!

Nice restaurant, slow service. Food was lovely, do all in all, enjoyable.

It was out first visit to this restaurant and we will definately be returning. The service and food was great and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The food portions were spot on and I even managed a 3 course meal without feeling too full afterwards. We will be returning very soon. Many thanks Cote !

The staff are great and we love the way that the food is delivered to the table by another person for the waiter/ess to serve - really nice idea.

An enjoyable late breakfast after walking into town. Food nice and hot and served promptly. A good way to spend a Sunday morning.

Great Saturday evening service which compares well with very poor service on a Sunday about a month ago. Need to pay attention to having sufficient staff at off-peak times. This site insists on me saying 6/6 for atmosphere; Nonsense 3/6 at most and that's being generous.

Great food great staff and an all over lovely experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our regular monthly visit to Cote in Dorking. The food and wine were excellent as usual and, above all, the staff made us feel so very welcome. We wouldn't return so often if we didn't enjoy it so much - there is plenty of choice available but Cote remains our first choice for value and service.

We love Cote Dorking but didn’t like our table near the toilet. Food and service were excellent but very noisy.

It was very nice food and the service was good

This was our first visit for brunch and hopefully will not be our last! The welcome was (as always) friendly and although they were busy we were quickly shown to our freshly cleaned and laid table. We decided to choose from the Mothers Day special menu and were not disappointed - Champagne, orange juice, coffee and the Eggs Royale were brilliant - fabulous hollandaise sauce with delicious smoked salmon and eggs poached to perfection. The atmosphere was super with lots of families enjoying good food and excellent service. Crossing my fingers that we can return again soon for another brilliant breakfast.

All very good. Only my main cod with ratatouille was rather bland and ratatouille a little undercooked. Rest of food very good. Excellent service.

popped in for lunch on a very busy day... the team there , Katarina,Cip, David whoever is front of house will ensure you have a great experience, from the greeting on arrival, to the efficient delivery of your chosen meals..all very slick...the food is excellent, service exceptional,restaurant spotlessly clean, and as i always suggest, it is worth making a booking which allows you to mention any allergies, preferences, time constraints etc, beforehand. The team could not be more helpful, or approachable, you will not be disappointed!

Amazing evening once again! Exceptional staff, so friendly, so professional and so caring - not just about their customers but also of one another and this creates a great feeling for everyone in the restaurant. The team are simply brilliant and make the whole evening a special event. We love the early evening menu and Prestige options which mean we can keep coming back for incredible food and not break the bank!

Service, food and price all good. Music a bit loud but not too intrusive. We visit different Cote restaurants and all manage to maintain a high standard. Don't change anything!

The food was great, but we were very disappointed to have to wait 40 minutes. When we entered the restaurant it was very quite (perhaps 2-3 tables) so we honestly don't understand what the problem was. We certainly don't have this problem at Cote Guildford.

Food was really good as always, the tiger prawn special starter was really tasty and glad to see the veal escalope back on the menu too!Service a little bit off normal high standard possibly due to some new staff.

We live between the Dorking branch and the Guildford branch, but I have to say the food seems to always be perfect in Dorking branch whereas it’s sometimes a bit hit and miss in Guildford for food quality.

A warm welcome as usual. The service was excellent-not in your face all the time. Lovely atmosphere at this Cote-not too big an area.Quite intimate. The food is always delicious.
