Côte Dorking

Another birthday celebration for me with my family, was served with delicious Kir Royals on the house.by lovely Waitress Ashley looked after us very well and was delightful!

Most of the food was lovely, but not all. Friendly staff though and delicious bread! Also the lunch offer is great value.

We love coming to Côte, such lovely friendly staff and excellent food!

Food was good, but was given wrong bill. When correct bill arrived found we had been charged £16 for a plate of Ravioli. Rather over priced! Bill was amended but should not have happened. Concessionry tip for the staff was not Concessionry at all, there was no way to accept or deny the payment. Appears just another way to inflate the cost of the meal or pay for the privilege of having a waitress.

As ever our visit to Cote Dorking was most enjoyable. The food is nice and remarkably good value while the service is first rate. There were a couple of new faces to us among the servers but they fitted in seamlessly.

Great little restaurant! My food was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Great food. Great value for money. Lovely staff. Please bring back the Gin tonic and St Germain cocktail you were offering in July as we loved it and were disappointed not to be able to order it this eve.

A delicious breakfast as usual with the friendly great staff

Lovely food (as always) in a lovely setting. Dorking Cote is our favourite restaurant with no traffic noise - unusual in this day and age.

The waiting staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. The manager was initially very nice but later on was very bad tempered and grumpy with us. We do not know why. The coffee and croissants were delicious. All would have been perfect apart from the manager's attitude.

Great service, and the fish stew was excellent. Dorking Cote is really on form. Thanks.

We entertained some old friends who were impressed with the standard of service and the quality of the food and wine. We have already booked to take them again!

Consistently good. A regular place for us either on our own or with family and friends.

Venue was really good, clean and vibrant. Initial service was good but we did have to chase orders. Wine arrived quickly but sparking water (ordered at same time) had to be chased. Menu was good but again starter (bread board) had to be chased. Couldn't get waiter's eye to order dessert so in the end didn't have any. Overall enjoyable meal, we had the Cote de Boeuf which was excellent.

We regularly dine at Cote in Dorking with friends. This evening was as good as ever, with excellent food and wine and exemplary service as usual.

The service was excellent, not rushed into ordering and in obtrusive dealing with table serving and clearing away.

Bit disappointed for the first time here. Tomates Breton dish had goats cheese thinned out and replaced with something that really wasn’t goats cheese. Trying to cost save? This dish was so good when I had it previously. Service was poor. Quite disappointed by it as it is normally very good. Waitress split the cork when opening the wine, got the order wrong and only half cleared the table after starters. Let’s assume it was just a bad night. Positively the new kids menu is a big hit. The choice is far more varied for children who have more adventurous tastes. It was a bit pedestrian before so this is a great improvement.

It is always a pleasure to eat at Cote; the staff are friendly and helpful food is reliably good. Best of all, they have very good choices for coeliacs like me!

We both agreed it had been a lovely evening.The staff at Dorking are so friendly and helpful.As usual the food was excellent,and the service prompt.We can not fault this restaurant in any important way. The decor is a bit dull,and,as in so many places these days,the absence of any sound absorbing surfaces tends to a high conversation level from other tables.

Great food at great prices. A good venue to meet up with friends mid week.

Haddock gourgons not great. Very dry, fish fingers would have been superior! Better to get fish that's fresh or fresher. And a light batter, cook quickly. Tempura batter much lighter.
