Côte Dorchester

Our visit was on Valentines evening. We like food, presentation, frechtvines, stuff. When we've arrived, we don't like a table to be sitting and without problems the table has been changed. What were lost it's a little things as a complimentary bread in arriving and little piece of chocolate with coffee.

We are regulars to the Dorchester Cote and are amongst friends with the staff so always enjoy our visits. The food was very good and consistent.

Warm and friendly staff as always. Great table with a view, that said it doesn't matter where you sit all good tables if just for 2 of you, or in a four. or larger.

Lovely Welcome. Asked where we would like to sit. Please get rid of the wooden boards. Our starter came on them. If our steak and chips were on boards we would have complained. Nice meal.

We went for a 25th birthday and it was fantastic. Great service and we were given complimentary prosecco on arrival! Thoroughly reccomend for any occasion.

Booking on line is straightforward, staff are friendly and efficient, food is consistently good and always served piping hot. The choice of menu changes regularly, and there are always so many dishes that appeal that it is hard to choose. The answer - go as often as possible!

Had a fantastic meal here last night. Very prompt service and the food was delicious. Fully recommend it to anyone. Well done Cote Brasserie and keep it up.

Food good, all ok needed to ask for a couple of utensils! Nice setting good acoustics ,comfortable surroundings. Query the way the bill is presented with tip included.

My husband and I had a rare evening out together and we’re so glad we picked Côtes.... The food was delicious, the wine and service also. Ended up eating far too much because we couldn’t bare to leave a morsel on the plate. Thank you Côtes, we will be back! (Noise rating is 3 because it was noisy - not a bad thing though, just meant everyone was talking and enjoying their evening like us - happy noise)!

We enjoyed a lovely family meal for my birthday and also my daughters birthday-17 February! The early evening menu has a great choice and was enjoyed by all of us.

We enjoyed a really fantastic meal considering we had booked a table for 9:30, the service and food standard as always was excellent. The staff can never do enough for you they make you feel as if your the only customer in the room.

It was our first visit to Cote Dorchester and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing (Valentines menu), the service was prompt and polite and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Superbly cooked food on valentines night, oddly though there were no side plates or butter knives for the bread and olives, and our side order was forgotten. But other than those very minor things an enjoyable evening!

It was such a miserable day, never stopped raining. So glad we visited Cote at lunchtime, we were greeted and shown to our table . We ordered a drink and decided what we we would eat . Had the £13.95 menu and each course was delicious. Lovely lunch , returned home happy , still raining!

Another very good meal at this restaurant. Good service and great food. The crab mayonnaise is one of the best. Will be visiting again very soon.

Never disappointed at Cote so it is my restaurant of choice in Dorchester. Love the great value early diner menu, you just can't go wrong at that price.

Good service and in expensive food if you eat before 7.00pm from the standard menu. House wine very good and not too expensive for a restaurant.

The perfect place for breakfast, highly recommend! Food is great and a lovely calm environment. Perfectly clean restaurant also and is the ideal place or meeting friends/family for a catch up.

We enjoyed our visit with superb service and very tasty food. However, our only criticism would be that the meat portions seemed to be very small.

Fast service, helpful waitress but the bill came a little slow. No faults other than that and the food (steak frites) was delicious. Worth the money!

We enjoyed the food which is always good standard at these restaurants . Staff not very welcoming or engaging , which is unusual for Côte . London and Exeter recently visited .

We have visited your restaurants before and always had excellent food, unfortunately on this occasion we were disappointed with one of the steak meals ordered. The steak was mostly gristle and could not be eaten, we told our waiter who was very apologetic and on receiving our bill found he had refunded the cost of one meal which we were very happy with. We will not be put off eating at Cotes in the future as we felt we had very good service .

Excellent food and service would revisit. Lamb shank melted in the mouth, fillet steak was cooked how we wanted it. The specials were good too. Lovely ambient atmosphere with mood lighting.

There staff were all very pleasant efficient There food was excellent as usual Our friends had not been to Cotesbach before but with be regular customers in Chichester

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the set menu for February was as good as expected. The Coq au Vin was highly recommended by two of our party, will definitely return

Cote Dorchester is our most favourite go to local. Always friendly staff, consistently good food and excellent service. Keep up the good work Dorchester the South West needs restaurants like this.

Excellent meal with really good service and seasonal menu with plenty of choice. Service was very attentive as usual and there was the usual comprehensive choice of wines etc.

Nice evening with friends. the atmosphere was relaxed and the temperature of the restaurant just right. Previously we have found the room too cold.Food was the usual good standard.

The service was just the right amount of attentive - including a lovely complementary drink to celebrate my mother’s birthday- and the food was perfect.

Food good but a little pricey, add 12% service charge and you feel a bit fleeced come the end of it. Service should be at customers discretion.

Good services, great food and comparably priced for what you get. Good for couples and smaller groups. Tends to fill up later than the other restaurants on site

I visit Cote Brasserie in Dorchester regularly, it’s my favourite restaurant in the town. The set menu is very good value and as it changes every month there is always something different to choose. The service is good and the staff are very friendly.

Just what we anticipated and what we got for a pre-cinema supper. Cote rarely, if ever, lets us down - good, speedy service and excellent steak frites.

A very enjoyable evening, good food and service at the table I requested. The complimentary bottle of wine added a little something to the meal.

Lovely evening at the Côte Brasserie in Dorchester. Staff always polite, friendly and efficient. The meal was excellent. I had a perfectly cooked roasted sea bream and my son had the equally excellent sirloin with pepper sauce. The olives served beforehand were better than I have tasted outside France. The merlot also very palatable. Can’t fault anything. It was all so good....What is even better is that in Dorchester particularly, the high standard of cooking and service is always consistent....something not always true of the Côte Brasserie chain in other towns....and I’ve tried quite a few!

All very good. Food great. Service helpful. Most enjoyable evening. Not ridiculously expensive either. I've been a few times before to Cote. It's not exactly 'posh nosh ' but very good quality brasserie level food.

Lovely meal, great service, chose from vegetarian menu but would like to see vegan options also. Grateful for free bottle of wine made it a very reasonable good dining experience.

Service excellent. Food very good. Regular loud rumbling noise in the background which was a bit distracting for a person with hearing impairment (seated near side door).
