Côte Dorchester

We tried the new 3 course Prestige Menu. All three courses were excellent and we came away felling very satisfied with the food we had eaten.

food was good but environment very noisy one of the people waiting at table was insolent and spoilt our evening a comment was made at the time the bill was paid

lovely meal as usual. very good fillet steak. service excellent - attentive and efficient - staff always friendly and service is good - nothing else to say!!

Good food, good service. A pleasant visit - not the first and, I'm sure, not the last. Spoiled today by very noisy and unwelcome outside "entertainment". (Obviously not the restaurant's fault.)

Excellent service from all members of staff coupled with very tasty food and a great bottle of wine. A vomiting child nearby was unable to spoil our experience! Well done, Cote Dorchester!

The restaurant quite busy on this fine summer day. Delays due to staff shortage. One more staff member would have made a big difference to the service provided. Food great as usual.

The asparagus starter was disappointing ... Asparagus was past its sell by date, shrivelled at the ends! The Chicken dish was mediocre, the white beans were far too Al dente . Far from satisfactory visit ... Staff pleasant as usual ....

I love this Cote in Dorchester. Lovely friendly staff and great service. Loved my lamb. Hope it's not just a special for June! Thought my starter portion of mussels was quite small as we're the mussels themselves. Lovely sauce with them though and that was the only issue. Free bottle of rose enjoyed too.

As good as ever ,it was my birthday on 15 th ,good place to be with friends ,have bin to several but yours is the best

Nice atmosphere in restaurant. Food was delicious and the service very good. There was plenty of choice on the menu including lots of gluten free options.

Due to the lack of customers the service was not up to its usual high standard. The food was very good as usual and an error in the order was quickly rectified.

The early evening menu is recommended and good value; nice range of menu choices, rapid and efficient service, friendly helpful staff- will definitely be back!

The food was lovly the establishment was very nice and very friendly staff very accomadating easy to get to and find car park right across the road

Service and food is always good here however it was very busy being fathers day and so the attention to detail was not as good as usual.

The food for the three of us was great as usual and together with the excellent service and atmosphere it made for an excellent evening out.

We apparently entered through the "wrong" door and were asked to queue at the "other" reception area. We were then shown to a table by the same waitress!! After that service was very good and food was outstanding - perfectly cooked calamari..

A bit busy so service was slower than normal but still acceptable. The food from the June menu was very good. Very clean and a good outlook.

Great breakfast, plenty of choices. Food is always well presented in comfortable and convivial surroundings. Friendly, efficient service as always. Cote is a restaurant I highly recommend.

The staff in the Dorchester branch were both friendly and efficient but left me just the right amount of time to choose my food and then didn't rush me between courses. I was dining alone and as a female, felt very comfortable there. The food was very good. I shall return.

The service was up to its usual high standard and an excellent lunch was provided. It was good to be able to have time to talk to the staff as they were not as busy as on some occasions.

Pleasant staff, good food, free kir royales for my birthday. Altogether a very good birthday treat. My guests enjoyed it. We hope to visit again soon.

We are so regular at your Dorchester Cote that we regard your staff as friends. The food and service, today, was, as always, first class.

Friendly service. Sadly, neither the French onion soup or the Breton chicken was as tasty as it used to be in Cote but our friends who had not been before seemed to enjoy it

The computer system went down so we couldn’t order any food! I don’t understand why food orders couldn’t be hand written. Really disappointing staff were lovely though

The food was mediocre the wine was expensive and the service could be better. The food was over done and the whole experience was not to the standard for a expensive restaurant

Staff were very professional and polite. One steak was served underdone however was dealt with professionally and promptly sorted. Lovely meal overall and outstanding service.

Great place and lovely staff. Food terrific and service quick. Highly recommend this venue. Definitely value for money and the staff are great. There is a voluntary service charge which goes to the staff and I had no hesitation paying this. I have dined there several times now and can’t think of a bad word to say. I will be going back again.

Food was great, service was a bit disorganised! They got our drinks orders wrong, then the food order wrong. And then never received our sides.

4 of us had breakfast - Pleasant staff and good food. Fruit salad very good and reasonable size. Full English breakfasts well cooked and tasty and good portion size and for an extra £1.50 approx you get orange/apple juice (large) and a hot drink. Good value.

Wonderful meal from the Prestige menu to celibrate my birthday with free glass of Kia royal lovely bottle of red too. Excellent service again. Looking forward to the wife's birthday next month.
