Excellent evening, good food great service. An enjoyable time was had by all of our party. Will go again asa soon as possible. Will recommend to our friends.

Excellent food and service again, the fixed price menus are good value for money. Cote Dorchester is very consistent on the quality of all its dishes.

Delicious food as usual, we ate from the set menu £15.95 for 2 courses. 3 of us Enjoyed the melon and ham, tomato salad and calamari. This was followed by 2 of us having the excellent seafood linguine and one the grilled chicken Excellent service and wine

The food was delicious and lighting and seating good.The staff were too busy to be attentive and looked rushed off thier feet!!!!!!Too busy for pay day Tuesday?They managed to put the food on the table but no time for anything else!!!!!!

Great atmosphere; and a lovely breakfast of Eggs Benedict which was delicious. The staff were pleasant, attentive and efficient. The Formule breakfast deal was very good value.

Staff always professionally polite and friendly. Struggle to cope when seventy people arrive at the same time and expecting each table to be given priority sitting.

Cote Brasserie never disappoints and consistently delivers: good food, friendly and efficient service and relaxed ambiance. I always take visitors there knowing I can count on this restaurant.

GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE. MY SECOND VISIT AND THE THIRD WILL BE IN A FEW DAYS. PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST FRENCH THEMED RESTAURANT IN DORSET.

Very welcoming staff. Allowed to choose our table which was a bonus. Very attentive throughout the evening. Food was excellent. staff aware of my gluten free request. A good atmosphere in the restaurant. Will certainly visit again soon. Not sure it is quite acceptable to add 10% to bill automatically. This should be voluntary.

New card readers and billing service causing problems for staff. Had to ask several times to pay bill and in the end manager had to do it on two separate transactions. Shame as it was a nice meal. Someone at a corporate level needs to sort this out.

Warm swift service, good food, and the waitress overheard us referring to our son's birthday today; his pudding came with 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate drizzle. Thoughtful and kind. Also, no intrusive loud music, simply some v soft ambient sounds, much appreciated by us all, two 50 year olds, a 16 and 19 year old. Thank you

Plates could be hotter and service between courses was rather too quick could have done with a big of a gap between courses please. Thanks

the experience was as always a good one . Mum loves the mussels. It was great to sit inside with the doors open. It's a shame that there are no parasols or canopy to offer some shade

Both food and service were first class as usual. Happy to recommend the Dorchester Cote to anyone. Noticed several large groups dining and clearly enjoying themselves.

Friendly service, good food, nice atmosphere. A fingerbowl to use after eating muscles and clams would be nice. Generally very good- will definitely come again.

On what is possibly our last visit to Cote Dorchester beforte we move house to Devon, we were welcomed as old friends and treated to the first rate food and service that we have come to expect from this excellent restaurant. Thanks to all the staff and we look forward to seeing you again when you come to help out at Cote Exeter.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. On arrival we were given 2 glasses of complimentary Kir Royale cocktails. Tasty food. Friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Perfect evening.

We had a lovely lunch at Cote Dorchester, the second time I had been there in a week. The breaded calamari is exceptional! Excellent food, Excellent service, Good value.

The service was excellent, and the duck breast delicious. As ever the creme caramel was perfect, on a very hot, busy day, My favourite restaurant and staff.

Always great food and service. We love the early evening set dinner before the cinema, great value. Drinks always bump up the price a bit though!

Cote was excellent again, meal fantastic all of our party thoroughly enjoyed there choices . On of the staff even spotted one of us drop a fork and a new one delivered in a blink. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Excellent place for a family meal.

Super food & wine. Service very friendly and efficient. To be honest I could write the same every time we visit Côte in Dorchester. Definitely our default restaurant.

Excellent food as usual, let down by poor service. Having been shown to our table we were then abandoned for 15 minutes. Plenty of waiters / waitresses in the restaurant but no service!

Great food, excellent service and relaxed setting. My birthday was perfect. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work. Always return here, had a try at the Bournemouth Cote last year and although good was not relaxed and tables were too close together. Dorchester is perfect.

The meal was fine and the service was attentive. But I don't understand why the management insist on adding 12.5% service charge to the bill. It is uncomfortable to ask a waitress to remove it, and yet why should I be paying part of the staff wage bill?

Excellent value for money, very tasty food and friendly, efficient service. A very enjoyable meal in a great location. We would definitely use this restaurant again.

Excellent atmosphere, good service and food will definitely be going again. Lovely alfresco area very suitable for the young and old alike. Nice clean well equipped loos as well.

Yet another perfectly cooked dinner here. Every mouthful delicious. Classic choices and quality of ingredients and care in preparation shine through. Waitress was just a tad ‘efficient’ and lacked a genuine smile but didn’t spoil our enjoyment.

As always our friends at Cote, Dorchester, made our Monday evening am absolute pleasure. The staff choir singing happy birthday to my wife, however, was bass heavy!

The French Onion Soup was not up to your usual excellent standard. The bread crouton was as solid as a rock and the cheese had dried into one solid piece, The soup itself, despite its really good flavour seemed to have been hanging around for a while. I had the veal escalope which was really excellent, beautifully cooked and extremely enjoyable. The service as usual was very slow with at least a 20 minute wait between courses. The restaurant is ideal if you have plenty of time on your hands but this is the second time we have had to miss out on your delicious sweets due to the delays in getting served.

Great food , attentive service. Have to read the menu carefully to establish which main courses come with vegetables and others that need side orders.

Good setting, prompt attention and excellent choices on menu. Group of 4 at table all made different choices and were not disappointed! A high standard!

We came to Cotes for my 30th Birthday. We had a really delicious meal. All apart from me had steak and I had a lovely sea food linguine. Which I could have eaten again i it was so delicious! Staff were very friendly and helpful efficient, thank you Cotes for a lovely evening

Known the Dorchester Branch of Cote since it opened 3 or 4 years ago. Go there frequently. Had a wonderful 50th celebration there 3 years ago. Always consistent food and wonderful staff.

We introduced two of our friends to Cote Dorchester. They were very impressed and said they want to return. As usual our visit to Cote was very enjoyable with great service and superb food.

We have eaten there before. We were a party of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Very accommodating Manager and waiting staff who could not have been more helpful. Friendly attentive and good humoured service. food was excellent, good ambience and we wil all return.

Good meal. Professional and well timed service. Only downside was continual noise from contractors working nearby (a generator?) outside control of restaurant. Missed the mackerel pate served in jar which was part of lunch deal! Cold tomato soup very good though.

The food and service were excellent. Staff courteous and attentive but NOT intrusive which is important. For me, take the calamari out of the seafood linguine and you've got the perfect dish!!!!!

Again another highly enjoyable lunch - good food, excellent service, great location - all at a more than reasonable price. Cote in Dorchester remains my favourite neighbourhood restaurant.

Really pleasant staff and very efficient. All our food was served very quickly but we didn’t feel rushed. A great experience all round. There was a small problem with one of the steaks but that was rectified straight away with no question at all. Many thanks.

Great food and service for a small wedding party lunch for 6. Pleasant atmosphere and tasty food enjoyed by everyone. Will definitely visit again soon.

Great service in new Dorchester restaurant, three courses £130 for 4ppl Inc service. Can't go wrong with Cote. Steak overdone but cod very well cooked.

We always enjoy our visits to Cote Brasserie in Dorchester. The staff are very welcoming and efficient and the food is great, at a very reasonable price.

A great way to celebrate a birthday especially with "special" offer summer drinks. The food was delicious 10/10 for the fish pie which was not swamped with mashed potato Staff friendly attentive and efficient

Very pleasant meal in a very pleasant restaurant, staff were friendly and very efficient. Meal prices were as you would expect, wine prices, like all restaurants, are on the high side. all in all a nice and pleasant meal out.

Fantastic food and service, great table overlooking the fountain and Brewery Square. The waitress was very helpful giving me a gluten free menu, we will book again.

Been here several times now when visiting Dorchester and it’s consistently good. They have lots of gluten-free options and the staff are friendly and professional.
