Côte Dorchester

We went with friends this time and were really well looked after as usual. The food was lovely and really hot, well served and timed well for our needs.

Good was excellent. Service was a little slow to get going but they were really busy. Really enjoyed it though. And have booked to come back.

Nice atmosphere. Took a while to place our order because there seemed to be a slight shortage of staff. Food was good. Overall a pleasant experience.

Excellent service & delicious food. Very nice atmosphere. Never fails to provide an enjoyable evening. The menu is varied and reasonably priced especially if you go before 7pm.

We had great service with lovely food, just a couple of errors with the order which were sorted out, but it was a very busy evening so hardly surprising.

Amazing experience for my husbands 40th birthday treat. Such attentive staff. With lovely little extras because it was his birthday. Very special and beautiful food. Won't be going anywhere but cote Dorchester for our special evenings together thanks for the lovely night x

Lovely lunch from the set menu which is very good value. The whitebait were plump and lightly crisp and the squash and spinach risotto was very tasty. Service excellent as usual.

We enjoyed the deluxe set menu and the ambience of the restaurant which is set in Brewery Square,an attractive development which has lots of lots of other eateries,so lots of competition for business.

Was busy so noise level was as we expected but didn’t detract from lovely food

Delicious food absolutely delicious food! Service was slow but it was very busy. My birthday meal was ruined by the stroppy lady on the next table moaning about everything!

The food at Cote is consistently good. We have visited several branches and this one in Dorchester has a nice atmosphere considering it’s in a new development. The service was prompt and we had a lovely evening.

Went for my wife's birthday staff were very attentive as I've always found them and they made Her feel very welcome with a free glass of Bellini. We've been there a dozen or more times food is always consistent would be happy to recommend

This Cote is consistently good, service always polite and efficient. I have never had a bad experience even when the restaurant is full and staff very busy.

Easy booking system.The menus are varied and I would say there is something for everyone’s taste.We had the prestige menu the starter of canard mousse was a very generous portion and delicious,served with brioche.The main was belly pork mashed potatoe and apple. Very satisfied with our meal.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. One member is coeliac and the menu is outstanding and staff knew what was available on the specials menu also. The food was delicious. Thank you

The Staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Service was at a good pace, it was not rushed. The food was excellent. I Will definitely recommend it.

Fish parmentier was good..flavour and fish but weekend chicken was not very flavoursome. Good quantity of chicken but lacked herbs. Coffee was good and staff as usual, friendly.

Lovely food good friendly staff no rush to get rid of us love the belly pork and citron tart. All served hot and well presented

The meal was up to the normal standard but staff level was short the manager from salisbury was very nice and told us he was down for the day to help out as they were two staff down on two occasions we have been served by a young manageress and find her to be a bit cold and abrupt lacking the warmth normally received at cote having said that we do always enjoy the food

Three of us had a full English formule breakfast. Excellent value and quick and very efficient service. Its always a pleasure to dine in Cote Brasserie!

We were very happy with both the meal and the service and will have no qualms about going again in the future. Having said this it will not be in the next few weeks!

Lovely breakfast but service could have been a little bit better given it was quiet. This is the second time we’ve been where we might have ordered more if we’d have been asked.

Easy to book online, perfect location, great meal, staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Only downside was 12% gratuity added to bill.

Cote always is a good experience especially last evening as we went to celebrate a birthday,were greeted with a Kir Royale and at desert time a plate which said Happy Birthday ad well as a card to record the event. Thank you.

The service was good on the whole But one waitress seemed a little abrupt but this may have been because it was busy. Our second waitress was very smily. The food was lovely, cooked to perfection and the wines was of a good quality too.

Delicious meal, attentive and timely service without being rushed. We enjoyed our evening very much. The only reason for a 5, is that the chicken dish I wanted was sold out. Thank you and we will be back again.

For my guests it was first time at Cote - we all ate off the short lunch menu but they were impressed by the food and good value.

Very good service with friendly staff. The food is always of a good standard with imaginative tastes and combinations. We really like the atmosphere and the fact that it is possible to sit on the terrace.

Great food in a lovely atmosphere. The only downside was that a 15 per cent tip is automatically added onto the bill. Customers can ask for this to be deducted but I would rather this policy was changed.

Great food as always. Busier tonight so service was a bit slower than normal but still ok. Watch out for the 12% gratuity already included in the bill!

Great value, fast service and nice food from a good range of standard and special items, as always. Special offer of a free G&T was welcome too

Excellent food & service, we were with relations , after recommending them they were very impressed. The meal & venue was superb we look forward to our next visit.

Just done a review, suddenly cut off, do not want to produce such a long review again. So will just say it was a great place to enjoy our 49th Wedding anniversary. Service was good, waiting staff were excellent. Had the Prestige Menu which was fine, although I probably would not have the Cod wrapped in Bacon which was OK but nothing special. The Creme Broule was good and my Vanilla Ice Cream with hot Dark Chocolate sauce was a fantastic end to the meal. Having been many times before. WE WILL BE BACK.

Very pleasant evening. Made a good choice this time. Fish stew excellent, had it once before. Previously experienced chicken overcooked, might try it again next time.

My wife,a vegan, and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Dorchester Cote. The vegetarian/vegan options were very good, as too was the choice of wines. Above all, the service was excellent.

As good as ever with excellent service. We were in a hurry and our lunch was delivered very quickly and the bill brought with no delay, even though I need gluten free.

This was a reasonably pleasant early evening meal when the restaurant was quiet. The service was bright and efficient and the food was fine: a touch on the minimalist side but adequate on a summer night. Tables, here, had appreciable gaps between them so it was possible to hold a conversation. Like other customers I am not keen on the automatic addition of a gratuity.

This branch of Cote offers a consistently high standard. We visit often, and are always received with courtesy and efficiency. The food continues to be reliably excellent, and, when in Dorchester, we would not eat anywhere else.

GOOD FOOD, service and location. Our third visit yesterday evening and not our last. The stars given and my comments speak for themselves. See you again soon COTE.
