Côte Dorchester

A very good visit to ceiling celebrate my wife’s birthday. Had forgotten to tell them before the visit but they still gave her a celebratory drink. The usual good service

Excellent service and delicious starters. The main (cote de boeuf) was exceptionally fatty and very poor quality meat however having many previous good experiences I won’t be deterred from visiting again.

Good food but I elegantly presented. Staff good lack training. Ie you don’t mean across every customer to place the dishes. Tables and decor is generally grubby and old fashioned. Drinks are eye wateringly expensive. Four quid for a third of a pint bottle? Do me a favour.

Very nice just what we needed every one was happy in there job and that rubs on the atmosphere Just wondered why they don't have soup spoons?

My mother was taken ill in the restaurant and the restaurant manager and staff could not have been more helpful and caring.

We had an evening meal here on Wednesday night and it was very good indeed. We were lucky that we also had a free bottle of wine. We also had breakfast here on Wednesday morning. Again, well cooked and reasonably priced. Personally, though, I thought the bacon and sausage were over- cooked.

Once again lovely meal in Cote Dorchester Super staff, great service, delicious food This time for breakfast after dropping car into garage for a service. I had French toast with fresh fruit, my partner had the formul breakfast - eggs benedict - his included coffee and orange juice for £10.50 Wonderful way to start the day.

We have regularly used this restaurant as a convenient meeting place for a group of friends living in the south/south west. As usual the food was of high quality, service staff excellent and the restaurant Mnager is first class. It is our favourite Cote. We have a question on how the bill is presented (which applies to all Cote restaurants), as a creme caramel on the lower priced lunchtime menu is 45p cheaper than on the second priced menu. The deserts are identical and superb! A small point but strange!

We both had an lovely evening at the Cote. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Will go again.

Crackling on pork belly was floppy and despite complaining to the waitress, nothing was deducted from the bill. Overall we found it expensive for the quality of food and service. Not as impressive as other Cote restaurants we have visited.

We started with complimentary cocktails, they were so good, we enjoyed our starters and mains. The service was excellent, staff very attentive, as always a lovely experience

Service great and overall fine but the steak frites was not up to your normal standard, very oily.

Good food as always and polite staff. Good ambience. I did get a shock when the calamari slid off the board when being served and my daughter tried to catch it but thankfully the skillet was not hot. I thought my steak may have been slightly better with seasoning

A very pleasant evening with good food and wine - and service. The only down side is that it is always very noisy in this particular restaurant (quite a low ceiling), not helped when there are parties of load women eating at the same time.

Exquisite food, and impeccable service. The citron creme brûlée is to die for! Coupled with the music in the Square, it made for a magical evening.

My Husband & I had an evening meal in the Dorchester Cote Brasserie and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. He had the hake piperade and said the fish was perfectly cooked & the meal very tasty. I had the fish pie and it was simply delicious. The staff were all friendly & efficient, especially the young woman who served us. After we left we noticed that two coffees had been added to our bill, which we hadn't had, so went back to speak to them about it and it was rectified immediately. Would happily recommend. Although, do bear in mind that when it gets busy, the noise level can be quite high.

Côte Brasserie is my regular restaurant. The food is consistently good, the staff are always pleasant and I know that I will enjoy my visit.

Nice fish pie. Boring salad. Excellent creme caramel. Overall very nice.

The food was really good although the gaspacio was a bit oily. Service was excellent.

Great service, having someone with a dietary requirement makes it difficult at times to ensure the carefulness of the kitchen but they really did make sure there was no reason for concern!! It was a wonderful evening!!

Excellent food. Overall very good value. However they did seem to be under staffed. We waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Our starters arrived before our drinks.
