We had a great time lovely food & service for my partners birthday.
A lovely meal as ever at Cote Dorchester. Good food with excellent service.
Booked online table for 5 at 1pm Lunchtime. Excellent choice of food, good service, music a little loud and were next to a xmas party table of 12. But had a lovely meal.
Food as always was excellent, however the charge for small bottles of beer I feel is extortionate
Excellent meal and service. Good value for money. Will be returning soon.
Excellent meal and very good service from the friendly staff.
Always excellent! Cote has never let us down. Thank you
Very nice meal thank you for everything and for good evening
Good food, lovely atmosphere and attentive service. An enjoyable pre Christmas celebration.
We always enjoy the food, service and atmosphere in our favorite Dorchester restaurant.
Party of four, enjoyed our evening meal, will go again. Tenderloin of pork not available but we were not advised. As three of wanted that we had to rechoose and as a result the confused server over charged by £3.50 but we got that refunded without a problem the next day. Very pleasant restaurant and staff.
Another lovely night out at Cote Dorchester. Food etc was great and the overall cost here is very reasonable. Back next week!
Fabulous, super waiter Kye. Please give him our thanks. Made it a very special birthday. Please commend him. Thank you.
It has become very expensive to eat at the Cote if you start a few extras for vegetables and potatoes the dishes end up being priced over £20. There were dirty tables around which were slow to be cleared. I've been coming to The Cote for a number of years but it is not value for money any more.
After a long walk we decided on an early dinner, 5 pm. But for the first time as being a regular customer, found this to be very disappointing visit Staff was quite aggressive to me for complaining about a very poor dessert and thought he should try explain to me the difference between a tarte tatin and tarte ou pomme What a shame! Could have spoilt a nice evening after our enjoyable walk I think I will give Cotes a break for a while.
Overall a very nice meal. Very prompt with the service, both the speed of drinks and meals. The speed didn’t compromise on quality as all three courses were delicious
Lovely food & great service from a helpful and friendly waitress. Cote is just really reliable for a nice supper, such a great atmosphere too.
The customer service was very good and the food was excellent. First time there, I will return.
Excellent food, well cooked, well constructed dishes and always something new on the menu.
Lovely touch with the glass of birthday fizz thank you 😊
Lovely welcome as always - tried Goats cheese salad for change - nice but a little too sweet for me. Special Espresso Martini was lovely though!! See you again soon!!
I had the set menu never again set menu as it was very Poor quality Mussels and meet steak . Dessert was lovely.
Great food , great service, only down side they don't sell spiced rum.
We had a really enjoyable meal with great service as always.
Greated pleasantly. Attentive and efficient servers. Food was excellent and well presented.
Great evening although it was extremely busy. All staff were excellent guided by the manager Calvin who as usual was superb to keep all customers happy!
Nice meal. Very good menu. Noise travels in the restaurant from noisy tables.
Nothing to say. Every thing was great. Good, good, good, good
A very busy evening as it was the Christmas Lights switch on event. The service and the food was excellent as it always is in this branch. I look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.
As always, a meal at Cote is a real pleasure. Delicious food, excellent service and reasonable prices.
Big evening for the staff as restaurant full. Wonderful service by a friendly team who made sure we had an enjoyable evening. Food was also top class
A very pleasant evening meal out in Dorchester with my lovely wife.
Service, food and wine were all first class as ever. Busy but very pleasant atmosphere.
I visit this lovely restaurant often. It is an ideal place to meet up with friends for a meal and a good chat.
Me and my partner eat here regularly the food is always stunning but unfortunately we had very poor and very under servant waiter which is very unusual for them as normally service is really good
Usual high standard of food excellent red wine Husbands duck v good
I’ve never had a disappointing visit to Cote Dorchester. Delicious food, (exquisite creme brûlée), attentive staff, and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend signing up for the newsletter and getting a complimentary drink of the month when you order from the a la carte menu - it’s an added bonus.
A lovely evening to celebrate our friends wedding anniversary. We could not have wished for better service and food-especially the whole sea bream!
Very varied menu for all tastes Some dishes not seen on many menus, cf steak tartare The cassoulet de Toulouse was delicious as was the fish parmentier But must say that the venison ‘cottage pie’ was too dry. Enjoyed the ‘freebee’ aperitifs
Everything was perfect as usual, great food, great service and great price.
Great meal with excellent service as always. Thank you very much
Excellent service from Dorchester lovely food always a joy to visit
We have dinner at the Cote brasserie Dorchester on regular occasions, the food and wine, and cocktails are just perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive, we will always recommend to friends and family.
Food was excellent but service a bit slow there was a large gap between starters and mains
We were disappointed that we didn't receive the usual welcome and were left for a few minutes before anyone came to speak with us and show us to a table. The Calamari were rather tasteless and lacked any piquancy. The Duck Confit was served with lots of slices of orange to decorate the dish rather than an orange sauce with a slice of orange as garnish. The duck was cooked to perfection but would have been spectacular with an orange sauce. Other than that I enjoyed the meal.
Food excellent also service . Noise level depending where you sit. If you sit in front of the glass window it can be noisy when restaurant full.
Beautiful French onion soup followed by duck breast as good as ever
Menu was inviting..good mix of robust for November and lighter choices. Ours was very well prepared, served and the wine good too. We had no time for pudding as film waited ..staff commiserated we always feel welcome when we visit. Thank you for the ambiance and consistent enjoyable time.
Excellent meal, wine, service as usual. We come here fairly frequently to meet friends and the lunch menu is always good value. Thankyou.
Food as always was excellent, but for the first time service was poor. Admittedly it was very busy but we had to wait 15 / 20 mins to order a dessert aftef our mains were cleared and that was only because we asked a passing staff member if we could please order a dessert.
