It was very nice, the staff were good and we had a bench seat as requested, as my wife as a problem with her back and she can lean against the wall to ease the pain, it makes her evening more enjoyable

Went for wedding Anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food was as good as we were told it was by friends. I am an award winning chef myself and I can be quite critical when eating out but the food was very good indeed. We were given a glass of champagne each as it was a celebration for us. Thank you to all the staff there.

Great food just a bit noisy but overall a good experience

Would have been higher but my duck was evercooked so much the ends were inedible but bill was adjusted. Normally it's lovely and pink so was disappointed.

Really nice food and service let down by the tables for 2 being so small that we kept having to juggle the plates as there was not enough room for everything on the table with all the glasses, cutlery, condiments etc. Then they tried to put a candle down as well which there was literally not an inch of space for. Tables crammed in so you cant help but be completely exposed to the next tables conversation and private conversation is impossible. I also had to wash my hands twice as the salt and pepper pots were so greasy / sticky and obviously had not been cleaned in a while.

Brilliant service, lovely food everything was perfect. The food arrived really quickly as well. I would only change one thing if I was being really picky. To have a slightly bigger table.

Extremely disappointed. We were rushed through our starters. We were served our mains before our starters were cleared away. When it came to dessert we had to ask a break as we were not able to relax between courses. We sat down to eat at 7.45pm and we were offered dessert at 8.20pm - we felt harrassed. What was meant to be a lovely evening felt like will you hurry up and leave/go.

Lovely food and service in a very happy atmosphere. My only complaint was about the acoustics of the restaurant. The noise level meant I almost had to sit on my partner's lap to hear what she was saying.

Very good meal - had the January special starter and mains and my wife had the Roquefort salad and belly of pork. Guinea Hen very nice and made a pheasant (sic) change! Good to see a full restaurant

Excellent! Family meal for my daughters birthday - thoroughly enjoyed by us all.

Meal was good as usual, however didn’t receive our cocktail included in the offer.

The food was of a good standard, however having pre-ordered for a meal at 12.30 pm we had to wait over 30 minutes for the starter to arrive and over an hour for the main course. Those who ordered a mains and dessert had nothing to eat until 1.40 pm. I had a enquire on both occasions as to when the food would arrive. That was a shame because the food and ambience were good.

Over cooked Steak and the staff were not interested, when you order your steak medium and it comes well done that is bad enough but when you report it to two different members of staff and they are just not interested. Bad service! have been here several times before and never had an issue but after going for my wife's birthday and receiving this service I wont be going again.

Excellent meal for two today. The two vegan dishes were the best ever served up by Cote, while the French onion soup and the cassoulet were perfect. Efficient and friendly service, excellent value for money. Well done to all at Cote Dorchester!

A lovely place for lunch on a wet January day. Waitress brought my friend some gravy after she commented that her parmentier was a little dry.

Fabulous food as usual, took advantage of the free bottle of Merlot which was not bad. Staff brilliant, nothing too much trouble. See you again soon.

Kicked off the New Year with a full English Breakfast. Great quality and value for money. We are back again tonight!

New Year's Eve visit. All things considered, good and friendly service. Good food but a little expensive for what is essentially good pub food.
