Côte Dorchester

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very good, but our request for a quiet table always seems to be ignored. We will return but hope for a corner table next time.

Excellent food and excellent service. We have been to Cote Brasserie in Dorchester several times now for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it never disappoints.

A favourite place to eat ... Always a warm welcome, very friendly staff. Food varied and competitively priced ...All in all, a happy and delicious experience...

We like Cote Dorchester. We go often and they recognise us when we arrive, which is a good vibe. The food is always great value for money and the service friendly and consistent. It's a winner.

Lovely welcome in spite of us arriving late as the film was longer than I’d anticipated. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Food was very good - tasty fish stew, crispy cod goujons and an exceptional fish pie with starters to match. The special crepe Grand Marnier was delicious. I would heartily recommend the brasserie to anyone who enjoys good food and lovely service. Thank you

We had an excellent meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The evening was spoilt by a girl over enthusiastically putting away crockery- it was time to leave!

The staf and restaurant were as always perfect. They were aware of the Autumn gift of a bottle of wine without being asked. There is nothing to complain about with this restaurant chain

Very good onion soup, both had fish quite good and my husband adored the crepe with grand mariner. I had the creme caramel..good but no flames! The wine and atmosphere very good..sparkling.

Service excellent, staff lovely, food delicious! Often we’ve commented on how quiet it seems in here, given that there are a lot of hard surfaces, but tonight it was SO noisy - may have been due to 3 large groups of ladies together! We love this place - best chain restaurant in Dorchester!

A very enjoyable evening, the staff were attentive and friendly and looked as though they enjoyed their work. The food was very well cooked and presented. The menu was extensive and interesting.

This is an excellent restaurant, with efficient, friendly service and imaginative, well-prepared dishes. We eat here as often as we can (we live 20 miles away!).

Nice atmosphere and good food. There were lots of free tables on a Sunday night and the staff were polite and service was fast. Mussels were very good!

Booked for 3 but 4if us were accommodated without any fuss Meals were lovely as always It was the first time we had mashed potatoes as the chips are high on my wish list. But will definitely have it again Best mash ever

The service was OK but the food was not as good as it has been on our previous visits.the French shepherd pie was tasteless and quiet small.

We had a very good meal today at Cot'e.We both had the roasted haddock in a creamy leek sauce.We shared a dessert a brioche and apple tart with ice cream.Both courses were cooked to perfection and well presented. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Brilliant dinner for wife's birthday. We had two of the October specials (chicken & fish) and the chocolate fondant for dessert. Great & fast (for a French restaurant) service.

As always, excellent service by very friendly staff, superb food, (I thoroughly recommend the Creme Caramel for dessert, it is the best I have ever tasted!!) And a nice' buzzy' atmosphere! I have already eaten at Cote twice this month, and am returning on 30th! It is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Dorchester and Weymouth! There is such an extensive menu, something for everyone! It is always very busy, even on weekdays! I love it! It is a wonderful dining experience! :)

Well run bistro with good service and well prepared dishes in a great location. A good atmosphere and well trained staff made for a great experience

My meal was fine and I was impressed with the vegetarian selection(after I was given the correct menu) but my friend was very disappointed with hers

Prompt and polite welcome and settlement at a table. Very good and variable menu selection. Very pleasant ambience with just the right music volume. Polite service and appropriately timed food service.

We found food and service good, but the resurant was noisy for us and we found it drafty but we were seated near door, but also witnessed over diners moving tables.

It never fails to excite and please. We came away totally content, having had plenty to eat and drink. We soaked up the general liveliness surrounding us.

We have stopped off at Cote at Dorchester a few times on our way from the West Country to Bournemouth. Consistently good standards much the same as in all the Cotes we have been too. We had lunch and needed to get on the road fairly quickly; staff were most obliging. Cote ticks all the boxes with us and the menu and wine list provide a really good choice whether it's breakfast, lunch or an evening meal.

My friends and I often eat at the cote Brasserie. No complaints about the food, but one of the waitresses serving us was rather miserable, bordering on rude. Shame! as other staff were pleasant.

Excellent menu, friendly staff, Sunday lunch time not busy but still a buzzy atmosphere. It was a nice touch to have newspapers on the table

I love Côte at Dorchester and go quite often. Very good food and good value. Nice decor and atmosphere. Good service. Great to have a free bottle of wine now and then, as we did last night. Lovely.

It was Efficient and easy service, nice food which arrived promptly. The staff were attentive. Ambience was just right not too busy and not too empty.

Excellent service from Ciara, our waitress. Food served promptly, after we explained we were going to an event. Food tasty and wine delicious. I wish there was more choice for us vegetarians but my mushroom crepes were good.

The meal and service we received last night has to go down as one of the best we have ever received. We will certainly be going back. Thank you very much for making our anniversary a special occasion.

As already reported to La Cote, the meal's presentation was very good. Regrettably the quality of the chicken did not support the excellent preparation carried out by the chef. i.e. the chicken was excellently cooked but the dish was very much let down by the taste of the meat which was virtually tasteless.

Super new restaurant! Ambience was lovely & food was very good. Didn’t get on with my desert and they changed it immediately. Staff amazingly helpful. Couldn’t do enough for us. Going back for breakfast tomorrow before we leave.

Service was very efficient and friendly without being intrusive. First course very tasty (Roquefort salad and crab mayonnaise). Main course haddock was fine but could do with less sauce and more vegetables. Steak (sirloin) was rare as ordered, and tasty but had too much gristle and the frites were a little too salty. A wider choice of glasses of wine would be welcome
