Always a lovely greeting and service and the food is to it's usual high standard for value. We just love going here especially as it is so easy. It is essential to book as they are really popular which says it all!

Excellent service and food. Very good value for money as we ate off the early evening menu. Nice atmosphere very busy for a Tuesday night.

As regular visitors we felt the breakfast was not very hot and poached eggs under done.Not up to usual standard will still be regular visitors

The steak was very very chewy. Normally, on previous visits the steak is very tender and melts in your mouth. In all other respects the lunch was good

Food = amazing, tasty, cooked to perfection Staff = brilliant and friendly Overall = can’t wait to eat here again! PS two words: chocolate mousse.

Everything was just fine, however I worry about the mules this is the second and last time I will be disappointed. As I pointed out to the waiter several of the meat of the mule refused to leave their shell. This is not a good thing to occur with sea food, only hope Iam not in for a bad night.

We very much enjoyed the food. But even though it wasn't very busy (it was a Monday evening) we felt that we were being rushed. For example, when we had finished the starter, the main course was served immediately. Also, we had complementary Kir Royales at the start but, even though I said we would have these before the meal, they arrived with the starter. Although we were asked whether everything was ok, the server asked this en passant, as it were. When we left the restaurant, no servers were around and no one said Goodnight or anything like that. We have eaten at Cote a number of times but not for a few months. We both felt the service was not as good as it has been. Nevertheless, the good food gave us an enjoyable evening.

Tonight we were celebrating my husband's birthday with friends - service as ever was faultless - food lovely including the surprise ' little extra ' together with the Team Chorus of Happy Birthday' Thank you everyone! Another lovely evening at Cote.

Fabulous and courteous as usual , we love Cote. Perfect early supper before evening listening to Ronnie Scott's Jazz Band. Love the seasonal menus and consistent quality.

Excellent service faultless in fact. Good menu and very nice atmosphere. Plus, great value for money. Overall a very pleasant experience. Look forward to visiting Cote again soon.

Good service nice food. I will have visited this restaurant 3 times in 8 days. I have choice of Zizzi,Carluccio,Nando,Wagamama all within 2 minute walk. I always choose Cote

Enjoyed our meal but not exceptional, we have had much better meals at other branches of Cote. Lighting a bit harsh for an evening out, staff very helpful

Five of us enjoyed a very pleasant meal with efficient service and good food. Having regulary at Cote for the past three months it was a reliable as ever.

Lovely, modern, atmosphere of a French restaurant. Excellent menu, wonderful food. Great for a quality Mother’s Day champagne Brunch. We are regulars and Cote Brasserie never disappoints.

My fault entirely - I tipped £6 in cash to the waiting staff. when I examined the bill at home, suddenly realized I had already paid a discretionary 12.5% service charge amounting to £13.38!!!!!

Been here on a few occasions always been good today was mother’s day no eggs with the breakfast , it was busy and they didn’t seem to cope did tell the manager when I paid but he wasn’t interested , dissapointed probably won’t return

An absolutely stunning meal. Great service. Best restaurant in Dorchester without a doubt. Great value and food so beautifully served. Cooked with a real passion which becomes obvious when you tuck in. Well done.

The delicious food, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and reasonable prices, mean that I would highly recommend it. Easy to park, great for lunches at just £11.50 for 2 courses, and surprisingly rarely overcrowded.

We had a very nice meal (delicious it fact) the only thing that really did spoil it was the tiny table for 4 of us it really was silly, and it wasn’t even busy? Staff were lovely too

Food great tho since a French restaurant shouldn’t there be bread on table?? Main criticism is that waiting staff don’t always remember not to stretch across customers to serve or clear plates. Restaurant always warm, comfortable & nicely busy.

Lovely evening, good service and yummy food. Recommend the Fixed Menu for value and ample choice. Chocolate pot is always a firm favourite for dessert!

5 of us had the reasonably priced early evening menu enjoying the variety offered and efficient friendly service. On arriving we were offered the choice of tables which was a nice surprise as l had booked.

Myself and my girlfriend went to the restaurant and had a very nice evening. We definitely will be visiting again. All round brilliant night. :)

Excellent service with friendly and helpful staff. Being a 'francophile', I thoroughly enjoy the French experience. The early evening menu option is particularly good value.

There was a good varied menu and we enjoyed the meal however firstly a little bit of bread would have been preferable as Cote represents the french experience and as we had moules frites some bread was required. Also when we got home and looked at our receipt our sub-total and total amount was not what was taken from our card there was a 12.5% OPTIONAL gratuity which we were not made aware of as the bill was not brought to our table we went up to pay and we input our card details but were not aware we needed to opt out we have no problem tipping but like to be able to do this of our own accord and felt this was misleading

Nice atmosphere, attentive staff and good quality food for the price paid, especially from the early evening special menu. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Excellent quality food served by efficient, courteous and pleasant staff. Reliable restaurant which it is always a pleasure to visit. We are regular and frequent visitors.

Enjoyed the food, we ordered from the lunch set menu which had a good variety. Christmas atmosphere was lacking however. Could have been better with a Christmas tree and some Christmas crackers.

The food was great however service was a little slow though. I really enjoyed my dessert which was the crème brulee. It was lovely and I'll be back for more.

Another civilised and enjoyable lunch.Nice Tablet,good service and excellent food.We both chose different dishes perfectly suited to a very cold day.We stuck with the "normal" menu which was pleasingly reasonable price,tasty and completely adequate.Overall a very enjoyable visit to Cote yet again.

Excellent value food, drinks quite expensive, pleasant staff and dinning room. The menus are not available during the weekend when more basic food and a la carte are served.

It was a very cold night, the setting was lovely, restaurant lovely and warm, party of 8, all the food arrived at the same time and was hot, steak excellent

Hope 6 is top! We were greeted with welcoming smiles, choices were healthy and good. Atmosphere was buzzing service just right and the bill was wonderful too. We usually lunch at home but this was a treat to repeat.

Food ok. Service ok. Do not like the fact they add service to bill. Especially for a table for 2 and a baby. Other Cotes seem more friendly and interested in their customers .

Excellent venue, restful after a day at work, staff very attentive and yummy food. All dietary needs are catered for. To avoid disappointment book. Parking nearby. Has a lift for those who may need some help.
