Excellent service, great food, reasonably priced. You know what you’re getting with Cote, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, the right setting for a good meal. Have never had a bad experience there.

Very happy with the service , everyone was very pleasant and the food was great , and the free bottle of wine Topped it off.

We did not have a dedicated waitress but 2 of the waitresses that attended to our table were unfriendly and not helpful and seemed not to like their job The food was lovely as it normally is

Consistently high standard of food here. Gorgeous hot weather allowed an alfresco lunch with kids playing in the fountains nearby. Attentive and friendly service made for a pleasant lunch.

Says it all really, a French family were on the next table... Cote are obviously doing things right. It was a delicious menu and lovely staff.

My Breton chicken was a little on the dry side. Partner's salmon dish was fine. Champagne was good. Overall experience was what I would expect from Cote.

Good food, well priced in a comfortable atmosphere. Ususally bring friends or relatives to eat at Côte when they are visiting the area. Always a good experience.

The steak was so tough We could not cut it with a steak knife. It was replaced when I complained but it was still only average and the fresh green salad was soggy and tasteless. The staff were obliging and polite.

As always the service and food were very good. There was a mix up with one order but this was put right immediately with no fuss.

We have never had a bad experience at a Cote restaurant. The service is friendly but not over-the-top. We usually eat there before going to a play or concert and the food always comes in good time but you don't feel rushed. The portions are just right (very cleverly sized to persuade you that you DO have room for that dessert after all!). The menu choice is always interesting and the food delicious. What's not to like?

Friendly welcome combined with lovely food and excellent service made this a super dining experience! The Dorchester restaurant is set in a lovely position in Brewery Square!

Absolutely excellent, especially good for me a coeliac. Every course came with a gluten free flag so I knew it was safe for me. Good service too

Good food and atmosphere. Only gripe was that the restaurant automatically adds an "optional " 12.5% service charge to the Bill... slightly cheeky I thought...

as usual the food was excellent as was the service, the food was piping hot on hot plates, which I like. It wont be long until we book again.

The service was really excellent , the food was tasty but a little overpriced. I think the early evening menu is a good deal for the price.

we had mistakenly booked for 8am but was assumed to be incorrect by the manager and he switched it to 8pm - great to see

First rate service and food, and always is. Can always depend on Cote being good therefore reliable for taking out friends. Do NOT change your formula. The only disappointment last night was that the Lamb Shank was not on the menu, and our friend, having seen a menu before, was going to have that. Not sure about your 12.5%. I think people would be happier if it was 10% which is what most people give regularly. However this is not a complaint but food for thought. AJ

Excellent value for money. We chose the 3 courses for £13.50. The food was presented well and tasted very good. Attentive staff and a very enjoyable lunch.

Most impressed with your gluten free menu for one of our party. Food all good and service excellent. Visited various Cotes in other towns - all good but Dorchester is my favourite.

Excellent, a warm friendly welcome, food was full of flavour and beautifully presented . Restaurant decor is cosy but professional. Cost is affordable although personally only as an occasional treat. What can I say, my husband and I and a wonderful evening. Thankyou.

We had the more expensive lunchtime menu for the first time and found the food excellent. Staff so helpful and pleasant...as always. Thank you.....I will be back.

Another excellent meal from our local branch of Cote. Service and choice was of the usual high standard and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

The staff were very helpful with a number of older people, happy to move chairs tables to help. Food good value for money and set menus had a good choice. Wine choice also good. Was a birthday and organised a cake which wad great.

Delicious food, very pleasant staff, great care taken of my dietary needs. We have eaten here regularly for nearly two years and not once have their standards fallen. Eating here is a pleasure on many levels.

Lovely meal great service and no loud music! Had the steak it was cooked perfectly. Good arrived quickly and was piping hot. Booked on line very easily.

As always excellent food attentive polite staff, and good atmosphere. Was disappointed that the haddock parmentier wasn’t on the list due to the trial of a second set menu but there is always another time

They serve good quality food and staff seem attentive. Only let down by the semi hidden gratuity fee on the final bill. This should be removed in future. The customer should decide an amount and not the company. Customers may not spot this optional extra cost and then tip separately. Very underhand.

Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Small group celebrating a 30th Birthday and wasn't disappointed at all. Service was quick and so much to choose from. Special menu deals are great as there is something for everyone. Drinks were reasonably priced. First visit and definitely will go back again soon.

Had a great evening here on a busy Saturday evening...just missed the early bird menu, which always represents great value for money....chose from the main menu everything was lovely , excellent friendly service with a great ambience. Fair value for money, so overall a very pleasant experience.

Restaurant was busier than we expected but the meal was excellent. We decided to have the meat platter selection between us for a starter. I was concerned that this would be too small but actually it was a good size. The only negative comment I would have is that I wish the waitress had smiled more.
