Really good meal once again! I had the pork steak on celeriac mash which was extremely tender and served in a delicious sauce. I followed this with the creme caramel which was smooth and perfect

Lunch for two on Friday.We had the prestige menu starters of canard mousse with Brioche bread followed by pork tenderloin and a bottle of wine. The portions were generous and delicious The staff are friendly and helpful..n

A nice restaurant. Very lively today. Good good. Attentive waiting staff. A little dark in some seating areas. We will visit again soon. Thank you.

We had a really lovely meal last night in Cote in central Dorchester. Very good service (friendly waiter) and meal. Good value. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Yet again a super night out at Cote Dorchester. We were part of a large group and the staff , front and back of house, coped with us really well.

Cote up to its usual high standard especially good value as the visit last evening took advantage of the smart meal deal.Service and quality of food very good.

Not the greatest food, steak was dry and bland, service was ok but not the best atmosphere. Very noisy and stlighty squashed seating. Overall just ok

Usually love this place . Staff are friendly and very professional . This time the parmentiere on the November prix fixe menu was very disappointing, particularly the topping was very un appetising. I am sure this is a one of blip however as everything is usually excellent.

Service was excellent. Food, especially the desserts, was good. The minute steaks were a little tough. The ambience and facilities were good too. Will return soon.

Excellent food and service yet again! This time we went with friend and her seven year old - it’s her favourite, especially the chocolate fountain pudding!

We had lunch here with friends on Friday..We all had two courses from the prestige menu .We all had the mousse de canard which was a very generous portion. The mains we chose were the fish parmentier a chicken dish and the pork tenderloin. We all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The staff are very friendly and the service excellent.

Went out of their way to make my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary a special and memorable occasion without even being asked so was a lovely surprise when they arrived. Great food, service and staff, would highly recommend this restaurant

I was ,with my wife, hosting a small celebration of my brother-in-law's 89th birthdayBecause we were not in a hurry the very,very slow service was of little consequence.However it highlighted the fact that only two people were doing their best to manage. As for the food and drink,it continued to provide the predictable quality and value that we confidentally hope for at Cote.

Great menu choice with a choice of 2 set menus before 7pm at very competitive prices, also there is an extensive A La Carte. The food the 3 of us dining chose was presented well and tasted delicious accompanied by the house red wine - an excellent evening. Good service efficient and polite waiting staff.

Good experience overall. The garlic bread didn't have much garlic and the chips were cooked a little more than usual so hard. The chocolate pot and mussels were delicious

Lovely ambience and great menu with lots of gluten free options. Generally the staff were very friendly and helpful. The fillet steak was not the best I’ve had however my friend said the beef bourguignon was lovely. Overall Cote is a lovely restaurant chain.

Fantastic service and food. Great waiter, and friendly atmosphere. Felt very welcome and the cost of the bill was a surprise , such great value!

Another super evening at our favourite place. Welcome and service are just perfect ie interested but relaxed. Really enjoyed the food and wine especially the cassoulet and the cidre chaud.

An excellent fillet steak precisely cooked. Food generally very good. Wine list a bit disappointing. Some errors in service. A nice busy atmosphere on a Saturday night. Expensive.

Always great service, with proper linen table napkins and red wine served at the right temperature. However, understandably not such a good deal at weekends with set menu. Normally go for the three courses before 7pm during the week which is a great deal.

Another delightful evening. Great service and delicious food, enjoying two of my favourite dishes- mussels and confit of duck leg. Very well done Dorchester Cote Brasserie!

Very good meal with friendly service. Not given full points because door to restaurant frequently kept being left open and we were in a bad draught, until it was closed! Recommend pork loin.

Food was delicious and service prompt restaurant was not busy so atmosphere was very relaxing

lovely main meals - very attentive service. sadly the cream was off so couldn't drink the irish Whisky, we were offered replacements, but the mood had left us after tasting the sour cream....

As always good food with good service. The staff seem to work as a well run team that seem to enjoy their job. Nothing is too much trouble it seems.

New monthly and varied menu in a busy restaurant with good friendly service makes this an ideal place to meet friends for a nice lunch

Very good friendly service and excellent food. I would definitely visit this restaurant again and recommend it to other people. Very pleasant atmosphere and lots of customers obviously having a good time.

Ate at 3.30, , so restaurant only sparcely occupied. Staff very pleasant, though orders rather slow in arrival. Food generally enjoyed, though my Steak (part of the steak frites) was not warm enough to melt the garlic butter, which was a shame. I would go again, though l missed the buzz and excellent all round experience, of the Salisbury Cote..

As always the food was excellent and we were made very welcome. Sadly on this occasion the service was slow and not up to its usual high standard.

As always a lovely greeting and we sampled some new dishes. I had the mushroom cassoulet which was lovely and my husband had the pork which he said was very tender and tasty.

Good food, good service. French Onion Soup, as good as I’ve had anywhere. Moules and frittes, just right. Bottled water on the table, a nice touch. Will visit again.

Once again we had a great meal this week. Four of us each chose different items and enjoyed everyone of them. We sat in the back section and had a different server, who was excellent.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our anniversary. The food was perfect and the service spot on. We will definitely go back as it was very good value and an enjoyable experience.

The atmosphere was lovely, the menu is so comprehensive, the food was delicious, well-cooked, beautifully presented, and the service was really pleasant and efficient - what more could you ask for!

The restaurant was very busy but despite this the service was very efficient. The staff as always were very welcoming and friendly and it is somewhere where we would certainly go back to from time to time.

We had pre-booked a table for 4 to celebrate my birthday and we were all very pleased with all aspects of the evening. Although a busy Saturday, the service was excellent, the food was of a consistently high standard and the atmosphere was noisy but positive. I shall definitely use Cote again.

We do so enjoy the food here, and the staff are delightful. We’ve been served by the lovely Romanian girl before. The calamari are perfect - still soft but in a crunchy coating, whilst my husband enjoyed the excellent French onion soup. and the pork on the October specials was excellent, enjoyed by 2 of us whilst our friend loved the butternut squash risotto. We all followed this with the October special Grand Marnier crepe.

A great restaurant with amazing service and food would recommend to anyone in Dorset or somerset to make the effort and go visit. A little more on the pricey side but will not disappoint

Excellent meal ambience and service. Really enjoyed the roast duck and the Tart de Pommes was to die for. Our Hungarian waiter was very good without being pushy

We had yet another excellent experience at Cote Dorchester. Service, wine and food were all first class. There is little doubt that we will be back again soon.

A newish Cote, living up to the Cote standards. good staff, excellent food, well kept wine. Desserts could do with a freshen up on the set menu
