Côte Dorchester

A very pleasant evening. Our host was excellent and still had time for us considering the restaurant was experiencing a rush. Good food. Will definitely be returning.

We were looking forward to a fish meal tonight and were absolutely delighted with the delicious Sole we all four chose. It was cooked to perfection, with plenty of glossy thick meat and roe, finished with capers and a delicious sauce. We all agreed it was the best fish ever and we chose to accompany it with a delightful Sancerre. The pre-dinner cocktails were mouth wateringly more-ish and as always we finished with our favourite creme caramel. We are never disappointed with the standard of food at Cote, the excellent service and charming staff and are happy to award tonight's meal six stars.

As always at Dorchester, great service and food! The lamb rump was perfectly cooked and my husband enjoyed his haddock goujons.

Good service and atmosphere, only complaint would be they forgot our olives then brought at same time as main course! Disappointed with the veggie special this month.

We usually eat at Côte in Soho fairly regularly and love everything about it - the service, the food and the value for money - so I’m happy to report that we enjoyed our meal (late lunch) at Côte in Dorchester just as much. With car parking just opposite it was easy to get to and we’ll look forward to going back.

Excellent service, excellent food and a restaurant full of "Pretty, Shiny People" - George Ezra! What more could one wish for?

the food was very poor quality and cold, the restaurant was barely half full so no atmosphere. we were rushed from the time we entered till the time we left, so rushed we were given the desert menu before we even had had the poor quality main course (chicken & the duck) wasted £61 on not so nice food.. not to your usual standard

We have dinner at the Dorchester Cote brasserie regularly, always a good experience, excellent food and wine, the staff are attentive, friendly, always helpful.

Decided at 6.00pm to go out for a family meal at 7.00- booking very easy, restaurant busy but staff very attentive. The food arrived in good time and was delicious.

Just amazing, it always is. Dorota was our waitress. It was busy but we didn’t really notice as everything was great.

Best dining experience I have had in a very long time. The meal was cooked to perfection. Service was faultless. Staff friendly and extremely professional. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The online deal didn’t translate to the bill and we didn’t get exactly what we ordered but it was busy and the staff are lovely and did their best. Not our best night out at Cote but we all have off nights and it’s still one of our favourites.

Not comunicaction with who show the table we had 2 cocktails as acaoeritiv and we almost on the end of starters when they wore delivered. Pork belly too dry

Food was fantastic (as it nearly always is) but service was surprisingly not up to usual standard. Male server was very casual, we had quite long waits after we'd finished each course before anyone noticed and when I made a comment to my husband that I'd have white wine although I was having pork (this is a bit of a joke between my husband and myself) the waiter assured me, in a rather patronising way, that it was alright to have white wine with pork! It was the first time that the food was served by one waiter instead of the usual way it is done at Côte, by two, with one holding the tray. This did not work well as our waiter leant across us in a clumsy way when serving us.

Always lovely service and very comfortable seating etc. Easy access and helpful staff.

Really impressed by the quality of food from the set menu. Great attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. I like filtered water being put on the table without having to pay an extortionate price like some places. All in all I would recommend and go back. Thank you.

Excellent dinner and service could not be faulted. Dined with friends who had never visited Cote before and they also were impressed. Would recommend.

I only gave you 2 stars because of the waitress that looked after us. Not the best of meals! In fact the worst we have experienced in any of Cote’s restaurants. The whole night was rushed, we were seated and then duly rushed from therein. How rushed we were given the desert menu before we even had our main course? Back to the food? I had the crab starter ! Well that’s what it said on the menu but could not taste any any thing like crab, my wife had the chicken pate that was taster than mine. Then the main courses ! They were not to the standard we have had at your restaurants. Special night spoiled by unexpected bad meal but a great young waitress who was so polite and cheerful.

They were very busy and short staffed. Because we had a longer than usual wait for my husband’s Main, his glass of house red was free. I had mousse du canard as can only eat small helpings. My husband had tomato soup and steak frites. Very good. We had to pay the full price for my dish despite having only one course.

Seem to be guaranteed good food at Côte. Never had a disappointing meal.

When a friend of ours wanted to take us out for dinner we immediately suggested Cote Brasserie. It’s our favourite restaurant by a mile.

I had mousse du canard and my husband tomato soup, followed by steak frites. I didn’t have a main. My husband had house red wine. Very good meals and the staff were run off their feet! It was so busy and one staff member short. They certainly work very hard and can do lots of jobs, so very well-trained. They took the wine off the bill as my husband had a long wait for his main. Very good of them.

Food was delightful as ever, however the waiter got my order wrong with someone else and I was given medium rare instead of medium

Very good as usual. Quick service. I had quite a spicy gazpacho followed by delicious creme caramel. My husband had zucchini fritters, sea bream which was good but he disliked the beans it was served with. Also creme caramel. My rose wine was good.
