Good food and service. The valentine's menu had good range of choices.

No offer of free cocktail which were mentioned at time of in line booking. No mention of free glass of wine when ordering steak dish. 12.5% service charge automatically added to Bill and put into card machine without any check that I was happy to pay it, and when I queried this was told it was company practice. If I am going to offer a tip to the staff it will be in my terms not what Cote tell me I am going to pay.

Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The standard is constant which is excellent.

My partner and I love this venue and our rating speaks for us. Until retirement some 10 years ago we where City dwellers with access to some of the best restaurants across the UK. Cotes matches the majority. We use this venue often both the two of us and with friend's. Long may we do so.

A great way to spend time with husband. Fish cooked to perfection and food full of delicious flavour.

I had a problem with the steak not tasting good, I sent it back with no further problems. Never sent anything back before so this was unusual. Will go again as I love the food and service, great value for money the 2 course evening special!

Although I wasn’t able to make the reservation myself due to illness, my Dad really enjoyed his 60th meal. All 4 that are said the atmosphere was lovely and the service of a very high standard. So much so we will be back to celebrate my mother’s birthday next month. Hopefully this time I will be able to enjoy the experience too! Thank you.

Always a warm friendly welcome followed by excellent food in a great setting

Overall a very nice evening with good food. Just one of us had a fish dish that was rather dry, but otherwise excellent. Service was particularly cheerful, polite and pleasant. Atmosphere was pretty good considering it was a Monday evening! We will definitely visit again.Thank you.

Good meal with friends. Good choice on the menu but why do some dishes come with potato and vegetables, some with just potato and some with nothing. It is irritating to be asked to pay for side dishes with some choices.

The 3 of us had a lovely meal here tonight (Mum, Dad & 8 year old Daughter) which we could not fault. Great assistance from staff who were happy to make recommendations from wine list & menu for us which were all excellent. Great that they were not pushy or try to up sell which was a relief from hard sell adopted by some other restaurant’s Our Daughter reckons they serve one of the best Pasta sauces available. Looking forward to our visit.

Overall a less pleasant experience than am used to here. Quite disappointed with the food tonight. Chicken Parmentier was really salty and cabbage had an odd taste of apple and vinegar although was supposed to be buttered. Staff lovely.

I had the Rillettes of Lamb which were rather too cold to give out the full flavour. I realise they have to be kept in the fridge so I don't know how that can be overcome. The Steak Frites were up to standard which is why we go!!

Disappointed with the starter as it stated on the menu that it came with sourdough baguette, but it came with toasted baguette dripping in butter. I sent it back & it was changed without any problem. The menu needs to be more accurate sometimes

Service good and food arrived quickly. Duck very fatty and grisly and almost non existant. Only about four mouthfuls so not good value for money. Surcharge seems exorbitant.
