Great food, fresh and delicious, lovely service and a free cocktail too!

Had lunch here today. We both had a main course one pan fried haddock the other pork belly. Generous portions beautifully cooked.

The quality of the food was superb, as was the presentation, and in terms of value for money I was satisfied. The atmosphere was good, very relaxing, and I was pleased with the way staff responded to learning that it was my birthday. Talking of the staff, I would like to particularly mention the waiter, who was extremely courteous, extremely personable and charming. I didn't catch his name, but he was Romanian and aged around 30-35.

It would've been 5 stars had a vegan main course option been available.

Came for brunch - just perfect Delicious sausage, eggs cooked just as I like

Admirably attentive needs waiting staff kept asking us a bit too often if we had enjoyed our meal. Also kept trying to clear away while there was food on our plates and hadn’t positioned cutlery to show we had finished. Otherwise as ever a very good dining experience

Really delicious food from the set menu, good wine selection by the glass. Slightly slow on the service but a nice atmosphere and the menu changes often enough to be able to find different things if you become a regular,

Normally we really enjoy our visit to Cote but on this occasion the experience wasn't good. The minute steak (steak frites) was very chewy, not enjoyable and I only managed to eat half. The Breton chicken was undercooked and pink - again, inedible. The service was good - so we are hoping it was just a 'Saturday night' blip. Thanks

Overall meal was good only spoilt by coffee for one friend served with cream which was OFF - it congealed on top of the coffee when poured in - problem was although he was quickly offered a fresh coffee and cream, it happened a 2nd time - that is VERY POOR - third coffee he had with wife's hot milk. Staff id not seem to appreciate cause of the problem ?

Excellent lunch for our party of 6 friends. Everybody enjoyed the meal and altogether a very good experience at a reasonable price.

My family and I enjoyed our experience at the cote brasserie at Dorchester. It's a treat for us all as it's on the expensive side but we all love it here. A well managed restaurant with great staff. Food quality was fab and we left very satisfied. The only thing that would make it better would be to remove the 12% discretional service charge. I find that a bit cheeky. I feel the customer should decide the service tip.

Very busy on a 1930 Friday booking. A little delay but good service. Food excellent as always. Wine VG. Water glasses smelt of stale drying cloth. Service charge is excessive. Overall, brilliant food, good service. Thank you.

The table wobbled we had to ask waiter to put a paper wedge underneath to stop it. My girlfriend asked for some butter for her bread when it was slammed on the table it had a hair on it and we gave up trying to get a waiter attention and ate it without when steak arrived we asked for french mustard and got English I had to go and swap at counter. We have been to coat Dorchester quite a few times this time it was very poor

Excellent food with great wine pairings. Efficient and friendly service

My husband’s cassoulet was “adequate” - to me it looked very dry and needed some greenery! He relished every mouthful of his Tarte citron. My nicoise was less than “adequate” - the portion size for a “main course” was pretty meagre - especially for £14.95! There was a lot of red onion and red pepper (both which I don’t eat) - tomatoes/beans/olives/potatoes - really not enough. Frites were more like fried sticks. Having said all this, the atmosphere was very good indeed and the service from every single member of staff was excellent - attentive, helpful and friendly. We look forward to receiving your comments on the above.

Food was excellent-complementary cocktails were delicious-(& waitress very helpful when I explained that we'd booked on-line but had had difficulty with the site & getting the complementary cocktail voucher issued).Nice touch with the complementary drink also(my husband mentioned that we'd booked lunch for our daughter's birthday).Dined there before & would do so again.
