Excellent service and food for a pre theatre lunch. Have booked again for dinner in a couple of weeks. Recommend the Toul ouse sausages and puy lentils, delicious

We went to the Cote in Tavistock Street for breakfast as we had a meeting later that morning. I can only say how good the Cote Breakfast is. All the ingredients are of the best quality much as you would expect from Cote, the service exemplary, and excellent value as always. If you find yourself in London, or come to that anywhere near a branch of Cote, and need breakfast to set you up for the rest of the day I can highly recommend a visit to your local Cote.

After a day at Buckingham Palace ,we arrived early at Cote Brasserie and had drinks and appetizers then the pre theater dinner. Great choices on this menu and everything was excellent.

Great food as usual.. never let's me down ! Set menu starter and a main amazing value 12.50 ,great food but a light meal ... portions reflect the price

Just too busy.... and absolutely no attention from staff - I know they are busy... but just too hectic for us. And shoved in a small corner :-(

Good food at a reasonable price on the pre-theatre menu. Service speedy and food hot. Ate there on own but might be a little noisy if dining in a group.

2nd time at this branch of Cote Brasserie brilliant cannot wait for the the new one to open in local town.....Great service great food...What more can I say...

Good quality, great value, wide variety, efficient and quick service.I use Cotes regularly on visits to the Covent Garden area. It is best of breed in my opinion

Booked a table for 5pm before attending a 7.30 concert. The restaurant filled up considerably while we were there but the service we received was excellent and the menu, plus a very enjoyable bottle of the house white, suited us perfectly. Would certainly come again!

We were greeted well by smiling people and we were entering an American couple who are long standing friends who also thought the service, quality of food, selection and value for money was quite outstanding. We are frequent users of Cote, more particularly in Sloane Square but quite often at Tavistock Street... Long my the quality and service continue.

Out of all the Côte restaurants I've been to, this is by far the BEST. Staff are always very warm and welcoming and I always get recognition from regular on duty staff. That is what makes me come back time and time again. Some staff know what I drink without having to ask. That is something you don't get everywhere, especially how busy they can be at times. Food was amazing as always, however did not give 6 point rating from me, because tables were too close for comfort. I sat close so to the table next to me, I was basically in the lady's face because my chair was adjacent in the middle of their table. Guests arriving later also declined to sit so close. Maybe something that should be looked at. Other than that, EXCELLENT!!

Excellent food, very friendly and efficient service and great location. Complimentary water was a nice touch. Will definitely book again on next visit to London

Despite the fact there were not many people dining and several empty tables the service overall was extremely poor and we have not experienced this before

Speedy service just right for pre theatre.soup was very tasty and calamari just right.we enjoyed the steak which could be thicker. Good value for London

We had a good experience at Cote.. we all ordered different things which were mostly good.. the fish pie was a little sloppy but it tasted good and had good fish content.. the staff were very friendly and efficient.

Whilst we enjoyed our meals, the steak and both half chickens were somewhat overlooked and not as juicy as they should have been. The service was acceptable and the location good for a quick pre-theatre meal.

All 5 of us went with the lunchtime 2 course menu deal and were pleased with the variety of choice, portion sizes, taste and service.

Cote's fixed price menu is a steal for value. Always a wide selection of starters , mains and delicious desserts it's my choice of restaurant .

The usual excellent value Cote menu for a pre-theatre dinner. The steak and frites are consistently good and we also indulged in a heavenly chocolate pot for dessert. Can't beat it for the price in Central London.

Restaurant was very busy but staff were organised and pleasant.Quality of food was good for the money.Have been to a few of these and service always consistently good .

Excellent as usual. It was extremely busy and there was a queue to get in. We arrived a few minutes early so we had to wait for our table to be ready, which was no problem at all. The food and service were great

Very friendly staff, lovely warm welcome. Lots of choice on the menu, food was excellent. Service also very good, staff obviously work hard but seem to enjoy their job. Price very good for service received.

One meal didn't arrive with the rest and had clearly been forgotten even though the order had supposedly been written down. I was told it was coming as it wouldn't fit on the tray with the rest and then nothing happened until I asked where it was sine minutes later. We then had to wait for this meal to be cooked. This was very embarrassing as I had booked the table for a lunch with some old friends.

We were welcomed very well, were made to feel comfortable. Friendly waiter, lovely food and served reasonable quickly and left in good time for our show. Thank you.

Ate here with a friend. Food lovely. Service excellent and attentive without being intrusive. We weren't rushed and were allowed time to enjoy the meal and ambiance whilst catching up with life. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great service and helpful staff but luke warm starter and sloppy maincoiurse did not thrill. Very poor food compared to Exeter, Farnham and some other Cotes visited.

I have eaten at Côte, Tavistock Street, on many occasions. It is a popular restaurant and is, invariably, very busy. I am always amazed at the way in which, despite being completely full, they manage to maintain such high standards of food and service.

Really good pre Theatre meal at Cote- excellent gluten free menu, and little labels on the food give you confidence that they really are gluten free!

A very decent lunch . Chicken and mushroom risotto was a little lacking in colour being uniformly mushroom shaded but was really tasty nonetheless. Addition of some freshly chopped parsley or tomato would have made a much more exciting dish. Waitress was really pleasant.

Relaxing, with helpful staff who didn't rush us. Menu varied and interesting although lots of pieces of paper can make it quite confusing. Seemed reasonable value.

Very convenient location for pre theatre dining and therefore massively crowded. Wide menu plus a few monthly specials and pre-theatre menu but not very imaginative or exciting. On this occasion service was slow and we had to ask for our main courses which meant we were rushed as one of us wanted a pud

Staff were very friendly and efficient- perhaps a little too efficient at times as you felt like you were being rushed through your courses. Calamari was cooked to perfection... Shame we couldn't say the same abot the Chicken Breast... It was extremely dry and difficult to swallow. The mustard sauce that accompanied was more of a cream sauce and was quite unsatifcatory. Luckily the desert made up for it! Great location for pre theatre dining.

overall when we visit just fine place, food and service. hoping staff be more helpful and friendly. food should be more hoter will be great. but over all is fine.

The service was poor as the order was forgotten and a starter didn't arrive. The nicoise salad was supposed to include potatoes but it came with one tiny potato cut into a few pieces. However the staff acknowledged these problems and gave us money off the bill. The food itself was good.

Overall very good experience, my moules was slightly dry, maybe a bit overcooked, but generally everything was fine and great service. Do love a Cote!

We arrived very early for our booked Early Bird dinner. A table for two was immediately found. When thick proved to be next to a large, lively group, whose shouted conversation stopped us from being able to talk ourselves, we were swiftly moved to quieter area. The delicious meal followed swiftly, served by smiling staff. A delightful start to our evening. Thank you!

We were shown to our table without any waiting, the host made sure we were comfortable and happy where we were sitting. Our waiter was pleasant and efficient, and our meals were tasty and well presented. All in all a very enjoyable meal. We would definitely eat there again

Had a really lovely meal so friendly really nice atmosphere and the food was excellent such good value as we had the pre theatre meal cannot wait for the next time

It was a lovely breakfast as always. The café is tucked away in the back street so most people couldn't find it but this is why you get more privacy, highly recommend if you want to have a nice and relaxing breakfast.
