Food is consistently high quality and very good value for money whether the pre theatre menu or the a la carte. The service efficient and friendly .
we had a lovely family meal out at Cote. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had pre theatre set menu which is fantastic value. We will definitely visit again.
Excellent food. But our experience was slightly spoiled by delivery of one wrong starter and courses for our group of six not arriving at same time
Good food and very pleasant and attentive staff. Great value for money as we ate from the per theatre menu. Will be recommending this chain to friends
Great food and service. Menu has changed but still the same old favourites. All the waiters and waitresses were French too! Makes a change for a bistro. Loved it.
Overall food was of great quality and service excellent. Delay to sit down as very busy desspite booking. If you want to eat on a Saturday evening before a theatre visit then book. A lot of people arriving who had not booked were disappointed.
We only had half an hour to spare and decided to pop in for a very quick lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful French onion soup.
Gluten Free meal was served barely warm and was replaced by a fresh dish which resulted in the other 3 diners needing to eat rather slowly whilst waiting with their meals becoming cooler in the process.
Very good. Nice food & wine & good service. Pleasant place & staff. Nice interior & lighting. Fast service & plenty of room at the table
Lovely ambience, great service and really good food. Perfect pre-theatre meal before Mamma Mia. Will come back soon for another meal before a musical.
The service was excellent and the welcome from all the staff was very pleasing. The food was just perfect we had the fixed pre theatre menu which had sufficient variety for our requirements and was most keenly priced.
This restaurant is located very close many west end theatres. The good food and friendly staff make dining here before or after the theatre an absolute joy and a must to complete the day. The set menu which changes every month, has a good selection of dishes with something for everyone, and offers excellent value for money. I have been a regular customer of cote restaurants for over three years the food is consistently excellent, and the service exemplary. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
Great staff and new Spring pre-theatre menu! Great staff and new Spring pre-theatre menu! Great staff and new Spring pre-theatre menu! What more can I say?
Friendly service, good food, good price. What more can I say except it was all found in a convenient situation, close to the theatre that my party were going to.
The restaurant was so busy that we could not have our table that we booked for 18.30. The manager sat us down at a temporary table at 18.45 & gave us a round of drinks on the house. We moved to our table shortly before 19.00, but he still let us have the set menu which finishes at 19.00. We had a wonderful meal & good service. This could have been a disaster, but the manager accommodated us in such a way to make us feel welcome & want to go back.
The table was near the door which was a bit draughty. Staff attentive to begin with. Food well presented. Service much slower than when I have been before. We had the pre-theatre set meal we were in the restaurant for nearly two hours!!
Good food, good service at a reasonable price.Should also mention that my wife reckons that cote have one of the best gluten free menus she has ever seen!
Excellent service as ever and very good food at sensible prices. One of our favourites! Will certainly be returning very soon. One of the best Cote restaurants
Ideal lunch stop prior to a guided tour of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Travel delays meant we had to put our booking back 15 minutes: no problems and we had a pleasant table, with good service in a tight timescale. The two course deal was ideal, and the steak frites authentic and tasty, washed down with a glass of house white. Our fourth visit to a Cote this year, consistent value-for-money offer every time.
The restaurant was very busy, we were late, having made a reservation.....the staff were welcoming and very understanding. Drinks came and our order placed......then we waited for about 30 minutes for our food. The kitchen was obviously under pressure but he staff were excellent.
Great service great price pre theatre. Nice buzz too. Very handy for all Covent Garden and strand theatres. Bargain compared to many other local restaurants without compromising on experience.
Love Cote - Covent Garden. Always comes up trumps & the service is wonderfull as well. Would highly recommend for a pre-or post theatre place to eat
Good food, reasonably priced for such a central location, quick and friendly service and decent pre theatre offerings. Also very happy with the wine suggestion
The waiter was charming. and the table was lovely. Al the staff were great. We had a lovely meal as we always do at Cote.
Excellent pre theatre meal. Straight forward reservation on line. Staff friendly efficient. House White wine excellent. Great value , great surroundings and great l9cation. Will return
Fab food and service. Relaxed atmosphere and we ended up chatting to the couple on the next table who had overheard us chatting about theatre shows. Not somewhere to go if you want an intimate chat as timetables are very close in places
The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were polite and attentive . The service was good and the food was very well presented and tasty. I will definitely go there again.
This is a busy but comfortable restaurant with quick and friendly service. The food was well flavoured and interesting, especially the excellent crème caramel. With a glass of good wine and coffee the pre-theatre 3-course menu is very good value.
Food was great! Love the venue and the service too. It was a last minute reservation and I do not regreat my choice. I highly recomend it
As always, the food is extremely good value at Cote and I come here regularly. The service was not as attentive as it was on Friday evening when I also came!
Very busy and as a result service a little slow. Good value for money and staff doing their best ! Will try again at a less busy time
Usual excellent value and always reliable steak frite. The score would be higher if the lighting were better - I could barely see what I was eating. My complaint on leaving was met with an inane comment that it was darker outside! I also have my doubts that the glass of wine I ordered had a full 175ml - it seemed pretty small.
Table in far corner by windows, which meant no one passing table and it made for a more relaxed time than sitting in the middle of the restaurant. V pleasant food and wine as usual - the balance here is more toward the tried and tested than the novel. So a familiar but reliable option when you just what to chat over a meal midweek.
Excellent Service from all staff this afternoon at lunch time. The New March Set Menu with whitebait as a starter and Seafood linguine as a Main was Delicious and satisfying. I would highly recommend the Tavistock Street Cote Restaurant for consistently delivering Good service and Food. A must when you are visiting London. Good value food and perfect for Theatreland.
Had another brilliant experience at Cote Brasserie. It was my birthday and our server went out of his way to make our visit extra special. Top notch!
As always, wonderful food and efficient, friendly and professional service. My husband is a big fan of the beef bourginon and the beetroot salad was a dream. We are regulars at Cote and are never disappointed.
Excellent food, friendly, efficient service, and good value for money. We enjoyed the experience a lot, and will definitely go back again, Thank you to all the staff.
We did not go to Covent Garden but went to Dorking branch. Excellent, as usual. We will be going again in the middle of March.
Always reliable and great value for money (lunch menu). We have visited many times and have never been disappointed. The staff are always helpful and courteous.
A very good pre-theatre meal in a busy restaurant. Friendly, efficient staff. Highly recommended. We have eaten in this restaurant many times and will certainly return.
Good for after theatre dinner, food fine without being outstanding. Some confusion over the wine offer but this was eventually sorted out. Fault really laid with the instructions on the voucher.
I had such a lovely time there. Food was nice, staff were brilliant! Really warm and welcome place to be at. Will definitely come back! Have to redeem a given voucher for a free bottle of wine.
Absolutely loved it! Brilliant service, impeccable food and at an unbelievable price. Especially considering we were in central London- wow!! So thankful for looking after us (we were a table of 8!) and really made it special.
The food was very good, as usual. The service was good. As it is a great place to go for inexpensive, good quality food the restaurant was full up and just felt slightly rushed and squashed up. Overall a very good experience.
The food was lovely, the service was polite and efficient without being intrusive, the atmosphere friendly, I really enjoyed being there. very happy to recommend it.
Our second visit for Sunday lunch. Each time we thought there was a good value menu and a nice environment. Good location for Covent Garden & theatres.
Fabulous meal at a great price. Very friendly, hard-working and courteous staff. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely return. Thank you to all at Cote for looking after us so splendidly.
The restaurant was very busy with theatre goers but the service was excellent as was the food! We really enjoyed ourselves and will return again!
For the first time, we had a negative experience with regard to the onion soup that one of us had ordered. The cheese and the bread did not taste right. After eating the soup, my friend felt warm and nauseous. We did not know why but when he went to the lavatory, he threw up the soup. This means that his body rejected something that had gone bad. There must have been a bacteria in the soup or it was not prepared in a hygienic way. We complained to the manager. At first he did not believe that the soup was the problem, as it happened too soon after eating it but after my friend had thrown up, he realised that he was wrong. He talked to the chef and he solved the situation in a satisfactory manner. The soup and the main course that my friend had ordered were deducted from the bill and the coffee was on the house. We were pleased with the way the manager handled the matter, burwe hope that in future, the cooks and the chef will be more careful with the way they handle food and with hygiene . Yours sincerely Jean Marc Asso
We enjoyed our meal here. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant is also situated in a convenient area close to all the theatre land attractions.
