Delicious food as always. Waiter slightly distracted as meal went on as towards closing time. However very friendly as usual at Cote and excellent wine recommendation.
Delicious food and generous portions given reasonable prices (we ate from the 2 course set menu). We have been a few times before and would definitely come again, thank you!
We were a post theatre party of 6. We enjoyed the usual excellent service and food offered in a pleasant atmosphere at the Tavistock Place Brasserie.
The restaurant was perfectly located for the rest of our evening plans but some of the pairings were a bit odd. I'd prefer the duck pate to come with sourdough/ white bread rather than a sweet brioche.
The pre theatre menu was good value for money. The food was delicious and there was a gluten free menu available. Friendly, courteous staff made it a pleasant experience.
The meal and wine were excellent as ever. The selection on the menu is always very comprehensive and I think overall Cote offers extremely good value as a dining venue.
Our booking was for 1745 and we arrived at 1740 (approx). We were expected and were whisked off to a table. The sun was shining, it was the Easter holidays and a Thursday, which could only mean one thing! A heaving restaurant! The service was first class, the food was delicious and, despite the number of people, the atmosphere relaxed. A delight.
Arrived 1745 wanted 3 course meal but service slow and had to leave 1915 having time only for two courses later arriving tables served before ours
Cote always serves up a good standard of food. This visit was no exception. But the restaurant was full and noisy. Service was also slow as a result and had to be asked for each time we wanted any. All of that is rather unusual for Cote, but I guess it was school holiday time.
Arrived with friend for pre theatre menu. Both knew what we wanted straightaway so gave our full order. Steak and chips arrived - good but not as hot as I would like and plate not warm. Then waited long time for dessert - apple crumble and ice cream which I love. It took so long we did not have time to eat it because we needed to leave for the theatre. I missed my crumble! I enjoy this menu and eat at Cote about once per month. I was a bit disappointed this time.
was very busy so the service was very fast , seemed like we were being rushed, we have been to a few other cote before and the food was much better than here , food a bit cold
The Food was excellent , as always. The service was very rushed, appreciate it was very busy , hence only giving a rating of 4.
Free glass of prosecco on arrival, unexpected but very much appreciated. Pear and endive salad delicious to start, very fresh and tasty. Steak frites for main which was also delicious. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Just perfect - team are fantastic. They noted our request for a corner table for my dad's birthday and did everything to make it as special as possible before the theatre. 10/10
We went mid afternoon, between theatre crowds and it was a very relaxing experience. Staff were very patient as one of our party was half an hour late, and food turned up in good time and piping hot. Very friendly wait staff. Have visited this branch of Cote before and will go again.
I enjoyed a fantastic pre theatre meal at Cote Covent Garden. Delicious mushroom and brioche entree, baked fish main. Cote offers always good, always consistent, always excellent service.
Great service, great ambience and great food. Only one criticism, there's not enough choice for vegetarians! Will definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Great if you're going to see a show as they do special pre theatre menus that are favourably priced.
Service was fast and efficient and the food remains excellent value and quality for money. The location is convenient and the restaurant is light and airy.
we we're celebrating my partners birthday and it was a perfect place. Situated near Covent Garden the food was really good as was the wine and the service. We'll definitely be back!
The dessert took more thank half an hour to arrive and we had to ask twice. They did take it off the bill, but still included the tip in the final price they entered on the card machine. Nice food nonetheless and friendly staff.
Excellent pre theatre menu with a varied choice for each course but cramped seating arrangement and very noisey. Difficult to hear across the table. Excellent service and friendly staff.
Great buzzy restaurant right in the middle of Theatre District so great location. Good menu, great value for the pre Theatre dinner menu, good food. Friend,y efficient staff who work under pressure but still remain cheerful.
Had a lovely round table by window to start but had to move because of draft from door. Food was lovely. Service average, too much chatter amongst staff.
Amazing food, wine and deserts so delicious. Duck roast is one of my favourite. It would benefit if during hot summers days they have outside seating available.
Although the restaurant was very busy with pre theatre diners the food was good, and the staff, especially our waitress in the small room downstairs, were extremely efficient and pleasant.
Good food and value on the pre theatre meal, although I did not realise we should have ordered sides of vegetables. Speedy and friendly service.
Restaurant was busy but the service and quality was excellent. We had a great evening. Would not hesitate to recommend it to other diners for a pre - show dinner
As usual the pre-theatre menu was slightly changed from March. All 3 courses were of the usual very good standard though I preferred the celeriac starter to the pear salad. Service friendly and helpful as ever.
Excellent service with smiling staff , extensive menu and good quality food . Would definitely book again , you need to book because it gets very busy early evening.
Enjoyed our pre-theatre meal. Good value for money and interesting choices on the set menu. Prompt and efficient service. Extremely good location for the Opera House and Covent Garden.
Very easy to book and they sat us no problem even though we arrived half an hour early. Very enjoyable meal, service excellent. Would recommend Cote to anyone.
Great pre- theatre venue with good service and busy atmosphere. Set meal is great value for money too....so it's a win win for us. H
Good food and service at this Cote. Went with a party of 6 and all the mains and desserts were up to the usual standard. Service pleasant and not pushy. Great location.
Good, and very reasonably priced, food. Central location. Very busy as pre-theatre hour. Pleasant service, although twice had to chase wine ordered, as well as water.
Great atmosphere, delicious food and very good value. Always enjoy a nice meal at cote Covent Garden and the standard is always very good and never fails to disappoint
Very convenient for Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Service was prompt if a little abrupt but food was absolutely delicious! Great location, good atmosphere - ideal for a pre-show supper
The food and service were exceptional. The pre theatre and lunch set menu are such good value for money. My only small complaint is maybe change a couple of the deserts!! Love the reataurant
Service level was unsatisfactory given that the restaurant was less than busy. Food was of a good standard, sea bass was very good. Crime caramel seemed a small portion.
terrrific staff, they did make a mistake witht the order but apologised sorted it very quickly and took the proce off the bill. very happy evening
Very good food and professionally served. Ideal for pre theatre. Booking online is quick and simple, and will definitely return again and again in the future.
A good meal at a reasonable price especially the lunchtime/ pre-theatre fixed price menu. It has a good choice of dishes on the menu. The service was good and efficient. It is very useful for a pre-theatre meal.
I have dined at this restaurant for many years sadly on this occasion the waitress who served us was really not up to the mark and far and far below the standard I have come to expect from cote restaurant's. as always the food was excellent even if the waitress was more interested in chatting to other members of staff rather than attending the tables.
excellent dinner and very welcoming staff...nice ambiance . Also the wine list was good and the Fleurie was very drinkable. Enjoyed the whole evening very much as did my partner for dinner.
Delicious food. Wonderful setting very convenient for all of Convent Garden. Incredible value. I loved it all! I highly recommend for a pretheatre supper! Lovely staff.
Food and service good but restaurant very busy and extremely noisy so that conversation was difficult as it was so difficult to hear what our party was saying even at a table for four.
The food was as usual very good had a longish wait for the second course but it was very busy. Waiters were very attentive and kept us I formed of the delay.
Booking online was easy, all the staff greeted us on arrival with a hello and a smile. The food was delicious and although the restaurant was full and very busy, they managed to give you personal attention at all times.
We were offered a special theatre menu at a great price for 2/3 courses and an amazingly warm welcome from the front of house manager and the waiting staff! The food arrived promptly and was delicious, try the minute steak with fries, it was rally good as was the chocolate mousse! Special thanks to Maria on front of house who's smile and friendly attitude made us feel so very welcome ............... we love you Maria! We will be returning to eat here on our next visit to the theatre.
Excellent! Food was great and reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive and polite. We booked for our 26th Wedding Anniversary and were glad we chose this restaurant. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely old favourites, like the bottle of Cremant and the bread with new mains , lamb rump, tender and tasty for me and Breton fish stew for my husband, both divine. As the restaurant had run out of strawberries my crepe came with caramelised bananas, which beat the strawberries hands down. As ever we will be back. Cote is the best middle range restaurant in London, we are never disappointed.
